I had lunch during a week day with several friends. The service was excellent. I ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young, steamed rice and Hot n Sour soup. The brown sauce was separate but when added to the patties, it made a delicious lunch. The prices were very reasonable. read more

Food is excellent. Favorites are beef with peppers, moo go gai pan, sweet and sour chicken and beef and broccoli. Lunch is super cheap and you get rice and an egg roll. There's almost always enough left over to take home. It cost less than $9 for the sweet and sour chicken lunch. The only negative is the staff is very dour; like they are doing you a favor waiting on you. No smiles, not friendly AT ALL. The owner(s) need to speak to the staff about it. read more

My and my family's favorite Chinese Takeout Restaurant of all times!!! This was my 100th time ordering from here, but this is my first review for them. Growing up, my family and I always ordered from here if we wanted to get takeout. We always have ordered hot and sour soup with our main dish because it's not too salty, has a lot of meat and veggies in it, and it comes in huge amounts. Speaking of huge amount, their lunch menu is UNREAL. So much food for a very cheap price. Their Lo Mein and Combination Fried Rice are also seasoned very well, and comes in huge amounts as well. I recommend ordering General Tso extra crispy. It is a total game changer! My family orders 4 meals, and we all have to eat it in 2 meals because it is so much food!! read more

I have always liked this place. Friendly staff, quick service and usually good food. Today was an exception and I am disappointed. I ordered General Tso's with broccoli. The entire dish was old. It tasted reheated, not fresh and the broccoli was too tough to chew. The rice and the sauce were adequate but I feel I wasted my money this time. So sad. read more

Been going to Lins many years now, NEVER a disappointment always spot on food ,service, kindness, the ability to remember your name and your quirks when ordering food. They are willing to go off menu for your request as long as thyey have the ingredients to make it. A very clean and well decorated restaurant. Clean rest facilities. Their hot & sour soup is the best We've found in Western Pa also to Harrisburg area up to Erie and down to Winchester Va. Peppercorn steak meal tops. Lin's used to be our goto spot. However, the last two times the food has been lacking. The chicken lo mein recipe has changed... The noodles are more like udon and the flavor was fishy. The General Tao was inedible between the sauce which again has changed and the chicken which tasted off. Paid $30 for two dishes that got tossed. Has ownership changed? read more

We came here for a birthday lunch celebration. It is a bit further out than I would have ventured for Chinese food but that is where the birthday boy picked. The service and decor is very nice. Our server was super polite, sweet, and was willing to have a nice conversation with the table. We got there during the lunch special so meals came with a choice of an egg roll or soup. I went with the egg roll. My meal choice was the eggplant dish with fried rice. The rice was made really well and had great flavor. The eggplant was just really salty and covered with too much brown sauce. I could barely eat it. I know I don't eat or cook with much salt so i should have known better. Since this was a place I've never been too, I should have asked for less sauce/sauce on the side. I love eggplants and was really looking forward to my meal. Next time, I'll know. If you come you will get great service, just keep in mind about the sodium! read more

Went on crowded Christmas Eve, though the crowd was somewhat of a surprise. Given that situation, the service was a good as could be expected. The food was very good. Shrimp & scallops included a decent portion of both; not filler. Broccoli in garlic sauce served as an good appetizer. The Amazing Chicken is terrific, egg rolls are huge and flavorful but honestly everything we've ever gotten from there has been solid at least. It was cooked well, a good sized portion, but in a rather bland, yet salty and almost hot sauce. It could stand to be kicked up with some Ginger, or something. Just what you'd expect from an American style Chinese restaurant. But then there is not much in the Asian styles to chose from around the area. read more
