Nothing to brag about here. Hit it on a slow night, and service was fast and good. Typical American style Chinese food. I tried the sizzling triple delight. It was cooked well, a good sized portion, but in a rather bland, yet salty and almost hot sauce. It could stand to be kicked up with some Ginger, or something. Just what you'd expect from an American style Chinese restaurant. But then there is not much in the Asian styles to chose from around the area. read more

Was really needed done good soup... their wonton is the best. Dinner selection is also really great. Large portions and great takeout service read more

Always good food, fast and friendly service. Take out is always ready quick and lunch specials are great! Many delicious options to choose from. read more

I love the lunch specials. It's so much food for a great price. This place has my favorite Amazing Chicken. I've been going since they opened 20ish years ago and I'm always satisfied. read more

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and the people who work here. If you're looking for good food, this is the place to find it. From the delicious taste of the lo Mein, I could tell that I would continue to come back here and never be disappointed. I highly recommend going here and simply cannot put my experience into words. read more

The food is very good. Prices are low. Take out and dining service is quick and friendly.

Ordered some Sichuan tofu from the traditional dishes menu. This should be a spicy dish. Specifically, it should have Sichuan peppercorns in it. Instead, no peppercorns, no heat whatsoever (except for the three chili peppers I found scattered throughout the dish), and it was sweet. Like, not quite sweet & sour sweet or General Tso's sweet, but definitely not what I would expect from a dish that's supposed to spicy and salty. Ignoring what the dish was supposed to be, it was fine. About what I would expect from any generic American Chinese restaurant. Not bad, but not particularly good either. read more

I'm not sure what the rave is all about. Pretty average Chinese food and menu. I was expecting more with the reviews, but was disappointed. No need to go back. read more

Best Chinese restaurant I have ever had service was amazing they are always really nice they never mess up orders they are always happy to sever us the best restaurant I have ever bin to there takeout is also great packaging! read more

I just ordered from the lunch menu today and I had enough food for both my lunch and supper. They meet you at the entrance and take your payment and hand you your order. I was pleasantly surprised to find my general tsk's chicken lunch came with a serving of soup, fried rice, and a fortune cookie read more

This restaurant is hands down delicious! The amazing chicken is nothing short of amazing. And the orange shrimp is fantastic. They are also doing a great job during COVID. You call and place your order they take tour credit card number over the phone. When you walk in they have a table of orders waiting and ready to go. Best Chinese food in the Pittsburgh area. read more

My favorite Chinese spot. We drive over from Wexford for it regularly. Our favorites are Orange chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. Always polite, quick and our order has never been wrong. read more

My all time fave Chinese place! Just recently starting getting takeout for workdays and I have to actively tell myself not to order every day. Lunch prices are an added bonus. Definitely will not be disappointed! read more

Typical Chinese food and menu. The thing that makes for a good business is customer service and appreciation. They don't have it. Ordered a pretty expensive pick up meal for three. Told person on phone that one of the people could not eat rice and would like Lo mein. Phone guy got confused and said it couldn't be done. I placed the order knowing that once I got to the store I would be able to speak to a reason able person since the rice and the Lo mein both get put into the small white box on the side with a 25 cent difference. when I arrived the manager said that it would be too much trouble to switch the rice out. I paid for the food and left. My meal certainly was not pleasant and the girl that couldn't eat rice was not 100 percent thrilled with the meal either. I was not going to give them any more money for an extra lo mein order plus I didn't want to put them through all that trouble One out of three had a good meal, I guess that's something. read more

This is our favorite Asian-American spot in the north hills. Great prices and quality of food, and they load up the portions.

We usually order from Lin's a few times a year and expect good but not great Chinese for a reasonable price. Tonight our order was fantastic! Not sure if they have a new cook or changed some recipes a little but it was very very good!! The portions are very large and the price is very reasonable. We love the boiled dumplings and crab rangoons. The house special mai fun is my favorite and was full of chicken and shrimp and the general tso's chicken my husband always gets was exceptionally good tonight. read more

First of all, if you can find this place you deserve a gold star. It's in a small area behind some buildings off Route 8 northbound. Not visible at all. Yeah, there's a small sign on Route 8 but by the time you see it, it's too late to turn. Luckily you can hang a right at the light and circle back around. The food? Well, it's strip mall Chinese food. Don't look for elegant, refined dining. But you knew that, right? The atmosphere is not impressive, a few booths and some tables, some typical Chinese decorations to remind you you're in a Chinese restaurant, etc. But that's not why you're here. I have to say, the food is pretty good! Hot and sour soup is tasty and better than many I've had. The pork and garlic sauce was decent, sort of average to be honest. But here's where they pick up a star. The lunch menu is mostly $5.95 for a bowl of soup or salad, an egg roll and a pretty big (almost entree size) portion. That's a deal. If you're hungry and craving Chinese, you'd do well to find your way here!! read more

Great, tasty food. Very reasonably priced. Extremely friendly staff. They've been great during the Covid 19 pandemic too. They have you pay over the phone and have your stapled up bag sitting there ready for you to grab and run. read more

My wife and I frequent this place relatively often as it is the best Chinese in the Gibsonia area (if you want delivery or a reasonable snag for take out). The food here is served quickly and is of much higher quality than the other nearby Chinese dining establishments that pretty much serve the cookie cutter "mall Chinese" It's good to have a difference in choice that focuses more on the quality. The only downside on this place is that their delivery practices are erratic and inconsistent. Sometimes when I call delivery is unavailable or the amounts for minimum. This isn't a huge problem because my house is up the road a bit, but odd still. read more

This is our go to spot for amazing authentic noodles and rice in Gibsonia. Ask to make it spicy ;).

Torn between 2 and 3 stars. Lin's Garden used to be much better but in the last few months has gone downhill. It's still edible, but more like the Mall Chinese food. There's no spice to it and it's just sort of blah. read more

Lin's is OK Chinese food. They have a big selection and a good lunch deal. They also deliver SUPER fast. I mean you order and 15 minutes later your food arrives. I've never seen a place deliver fast actually. They give a good portion size and the lunch deal comes with either soup or an egg roll also. It is a very inexpensive meal when you are really wanting Chinese. I usually will get the Amazing Chicken, which is sweet and spicy crispy fried white meal chicken. It is VERY good! I tried General Tso's chicken once and I was expecting the same white meat with the different sauce, but it was mostly dark meat chicken. It was really fatty and just not appetizing. I later found out you can ask for just white meat for a small up-charge. Personally I just do not like that meat or quality, which is why my rating is lower. Over-all I think it is a good inexpensive choice but I think there are better quality choices in the area for this type of food. read more

One of my favorite hometown Chinese places! Lin's garden is right down the street from me so I have been going here for almost 15 years now. Its safe to say I haven't had Hunan chicken that is better anywhere else. My typical meal is an egg roll and Hunan chicken delivered. Stop in before 3pm and get their lunch special which is very affordable. read more

Tasty, authentic Chinese food. If you want to know what real Chinese food tastes like, eat here. The dumplings are to die for, and the lo mein will always be a staple of my diet. read more

Being new to the area I was very excited to try this place. As much as I really wanted to like it I ended up disappointed. My family ordered some standards, shrimp fried rice, ginger beef, and kung pao chicken. To be fair the fried rice was quite good, however the ginger beef was battered and fried (I've never seen it served that way before). As for the chicken, there was very little actual chicken, and what there was of it was low quality meat. The service was good and friendly and the dining area is nicer that many chinese places. I might grab some fried rice for takeout sometime, but I will not be a regular customer. read more

I went here to get some simple General Tso's chicken for lunch. I ate my chicken and the egg roll that came with it. The chicken was okay, and the egg roll was pretty good and not a bad price at all. Here is my word of caution to anyone who eats here; you better live real close or get take out. I literally shit my pants on the way home. It was violent and demoralizing. I am truly ashamed of what happened on that fateful day. I will never go back! So if you want some chicken on the cheap, better bring your depends and a giant blue tarp for your car because the Hoover dam can't hold back the furry your going to unleash moments after finishing your meal. read more

This is my Chinese restaurant. When you order to go it always takes 10 minutes. It has always been ready when we arrived. We like to eat there too. The decor is lacking but the food is pretty good. I have enjoyed most things there. There has been things that were good but not the flavor I was looking for. I will be back. read more

Best Chinese place on route 8. Delivery and pickup is convenient and they have your order ready within a few minutes of placing it over the phone. Awesome customer service! read more

One of my favorite Chinese places and I've had ALOT of Chinese. Their crab rangoons are 10/10!

Lin's has been the place my family goes when we want Chinese for years. Maybe it's just because I've acquired such a taste for it, but it's hard for me to eat any other Chinese. Lin's is not a high end establishment, but it's cheap, fast, and the food always tastes great. I always get general tso's with white rice and crab rangoons because I'm a normie, but I love it so much. The lunch special here is fantastic. Satisfying portions for around 6 or 7 dollars. Amazing. My only complaint is sometimes the chicken pieces are too big and can be chewy, but other than that no complaints. Highly recommend. read more

Lin's is our go-to Chinese restaurant. They always provide fast service for in the restaurant or to-go orders. Everyone there is very pleasant and also super attentive. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The place is EXTREMELY unprofessional. I called because their Chow Mein doesn't have noodles, which is the first time I have seen that. I may be wrong about this but clarification should be given. Also ordered the Sweet Broccoli and was sent Broccoli with Garlic Sauce and was given the excuse of "It's not spicy" for their reasoning of sending me this. AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST!!! THE LADY HELPING ME HUNG UP ON ME CAUSE SHE SAID THEY WERE "BUSY"!!! THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! How does a restaurant hang up on a paying customer when they have an issue with the order that the restaurant sent them?!?!?! If the food was the best Chinese food I ever had I would be a little more okay with it...but the food is mediocre at best. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!! read more

Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, good family place. Menu had all the classics and some unique dish offerings. Could have went in a lot of different directions with the ordering. Staff accommodated a ginger broccoli dish. The broccoli was cooked perfectly! Healthy stalks and was crisp. Pieces of ginger in the sauce. Eggplant and chicken dish in garlic sauce was great. Our 4 year old shoveled his food in, couldn't get enough! Want to try the Singapore rice noodles next time. Other tables seemed to be enjoying their food and the broccoli and green bean dishes came out of the kitchen especially good-looking. Portions of all dishes were generous and led to leftovers. Lo mein had too much oil and oil could have been reduced on all 3 dishes we ordered but that is common with most Chinese restaurants. Highly recommend! read more

When I went in to pick up our order to go, I was pleasantly surprised how cute this place is! The boiled pork dumplings were very good! We also got Amazing Chicken, Chicken with Broccoli (1 of my favorites) and Kung Pao Chicken (Nick's favorite).....everything was cooked to perfection!! You must try!!! read more

Love this place!!! My favorite Chinese food of all time!! I have yet to find a place that beats it!

Exceptionally good Chinese food. My family has been Lin's customers for years. I have never had a bad dish. Amazing Chicken is their signature dish, and really lives up to its name. I also love their sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, egg rolls, and crab rangoons. The atmosphere is nice, and it's great for take out too. Very generous portions and a friendly staff. read more
