As soon as I tasted it, I suspected it wasn't real crab meat. There is a distinct smell with imitation crab and it's often used because it's cheaper. This crab also was rubbery and had thin lines in it. I asked the server if they used imitation crab and she said no, but I have a hard time believing that. The smell was so disagreeable that it ruined the rest of the meal, which was cold.
