My family eats here a lot. However unfortunately today we ordered from this China cafe for the last time. One day I took notice of the owner over charging me. She must have seen my face because she quickly adjusted the price without me saying a word about it. I decided not to overreact to the situation and just watch more diligently in the future. Sure enough, she did it again. This time I said something. Being the creature of habit I am, we ordered for pickup again tonight. This time I sent my husband to pick it up. Again she over charged us. I like to think the best of people and I'm all for second and third chances. However, it is clear that these people do not deserve those chances. Sure it's only two or three dollars but to us, that is simply not the point. So from now on, we will patron the china house downtown. read more

We eat here probably once every couple months, sometimes more. We have always had our food taste really good, fresh and hot. The owners can get a bit frazzled when busy but can you blame them. And right now thanks to covid it is busier then ever for them, and patience is needed if the wait is longer then told, remember, if they get a lot of walk ins then it slows them down because they have to take orders. It normally is just 1 cook and the 1 lady, and sometimes the young kid. I order on line most of the time now and always assume it will be at least 30 minutes, especially during dinner time. Thank the heavens! I no longer have to drive very far to get amazing Chinese food. I'm not a fan of the local places in Beaver. So normally, I was forced to go to Taiwan 101 in Monaca if I wanted good food, from a place I didn't KNOW horror stories about. (Seriously I know people & I won't eat at the joints in Beaver) I absolutely love the lunch specials! They're just 5 or 6 bucks & daily, from open till 3pm. They open each day at 10:30am so anytime I get a craving for General Tso's, they've got me covered. Just a $1 up charge for all white meat during lunch & a $2 up charge during dinner. So worth it in my book! I have plenty of friends that come over all the time to hang out, play video games, or watch sports & we frequently order. Every time, they get the order right & every time my friends rave about how great it is! Shocked. For a Chinese place in a strip mall in the middle of nowhere, the food was very good. While the place in Beaver is a head above most corner small-town joints, this place is as good or better. The eggrolls aren't just cabbage and shrimp chunks, but have green onions and whole shrimp and a ton of flavor. The kung po is delicious and umami instead of the usual overly sweet stuff from most places. As usual, I asked for extra spicy and it was still lacking heat. But that is the case at most of these. Def not five stars. Can't compare to sewickleys or panda in Pittsburgh. Even Taiwan 101 is only 4. But good for last minute takeout. read more

Count me among the many reviewers surprised to be writing a 4-star review of a Beaver County, strip mall Chinese joint next to a failing Shop 'n' Save. Part of the four star rating is for the near perfect fried pork dumplings. I could make a meal of these alone. The dumpling wrap is thin and nicely crisp on one side; the filling has a great ginger zing; and the sauce packs a ton of flavor with no cloying sweetness. I have been here twice for large carry-out orders. Although the restaurant has a few tables, most will want to take home or eat at the park across the street. My food has always come as I ordered when arriving at home, even being a bit more spicy when I ordered extra-spicy, although still a bit milder than I would like. Some of my favorites include shrimp with snow peas, Kung pao chicken and the chow mei fun. Don't forget to ask for the coupon deal with orders over $30 and $45, which gets you the choice of some free food or cans of soda. Too bad the seafood section is limited to shrimp. I eat here way more often than I should. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. I usually get General Tso's CHicken or Roast Pork and Chinese Vegetables. Their WonTon soup is addictive! Very nice people as well. For this type of a restaurant, meaning take-out and affordable its a 5! read more

We live close by and get take out at least once a month. Much better than the place on 3rd St. in Beaver. Here you'll find friendly, prompt service, and generous portions for the price. Great location. I live just a few blocks from here and it's nice I don't have to drive into beaver. Just ordered from china cafe today and I gotta tell you this is one of the best I have ever had. I got fried dumplings and roast pork and garlic sauce. The dumplings are very well done the dipping sauce was good a little sweet. The roast pork was very tender and cooked just right great flavor.
