Great takeout or delivery service! Food is always reliably good. They are my local goto in Sharpsburgh/O'Hara area.

Pretty standard Chinese American food. They do have a traditional Chinese menu which we did not try. Parking out front limited but likely adequate given small size of restaurant. Parking to the left of restaurant is for the neighboring building so be careful. Quiet and simple interior. Plain but clean. Furniture fairly comfortable. Fountain soda unlike many Asian restaurants. Started with soups. Had both Wonton and eggdrop. Very large serving for the price. Flavor good. Solid B. Fried calamari for appetizer was odd, with stir fried onion and pepper included. Calamari was heavily breaded and lacked flavor, but we liked the veggies! Small serving. C. Wife had shrimp fried rice which she declared fine. Amount of shrimp adequate. They did not have bean sprouts to add for crunch although they did add bamboo shoots. In hind sight she would have asked for a scrambled egg to be added. B. I had the chicken with eggplant which was very good and large serving. Flavor delicate and not overly sauced. Could have been a bit spicier, which I requested, but still I give it an A. Service split between the family grandmother and grandson. Good service and English spoken. No chopsticks offered. Around $50 for dinner is a bargain these days. Recommended. read more

Absolutely worst Chinese place I ever ate at . I found a long BLACK piece of hair in my food. . I called the restaurant and after being extremely rude to me over the phone the owner decided to come and pound on my door extremely loud , then she told me that that's "American hair " and that I'm crazy . My hair is brown and blonde and she saw that and still continued to accuse me . I wasn't even going to post this but since she wanted to be nasty to me I simply couldn't let it go . How is it my hair if it's black and wrapped around the food like it had been in there ? 0 out of 10 stars , absolutely foul and disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody even if it was the last restaurant on the planet . DO NOT EAT HERE. The health department should pay them a visit . read more

Gosh I can tell you many reasons why I am reading with all five stars first if you speak properly may I work with different countries a lot so maybe slow down and spell if you think it's necessary the person who is answering your phone is very wise and yep she understands what you're saying. Second I play a very large order I had people sitting in my home they were acting dopey headed I chose to order food to cheer everybody up and make it more communicable. I said okay let's go Asian and I found a place by Google that I ordered once before. The restaurant is called the dragon Palace it is in Sharpsburg PA so as I spoke on the phone and yes I gave all the extra requests and the order yeah it was big but it was more than proper everything no one complained egg rolls perfect crispy outside and perfect sweet cabbage inside next crab rangoons oh you lovers you know you like them these are very good, and then have an excellent dumpling with an excellent dumplings then if you want to switch to more food order Mu Shoo. Do yourself a favor order extra pancakes and hosian. Of course beef and broccoli perfectly cut me and perfect and the seasoning very well done. And to most of ourselves general tso. Possibly made for! Extra sauce yay I'll get crispy outside I ordered all white meat chicken cooked perfectly inside so I don't know the owners but I will check this is a place that I suggest and a place you go back to as long as you ask kindly and politely they will make sure you have everything that you could do thank you dragon Palace thank you your employees and thank you for protecting my food is cooked and treated proper I will recommend you because I trust you and the food is that good thank you I had a wonderful Sunday because of all of you and so did all 12 of my guests. Update to earlier review: I found hair in the food from here the last time I ordered. It was imbedded into the chicken and ended up in my mouth. It grossed me out so much that I haven't been able to go back. I'm disappointed because this used to be my favorite takeout Chinese spot. read more

to add to my previous high rating - I want to say that we continue to order delivery from this restaurant and the food comes hot, tasty and, and on time. I marvel at the very wide selections on the menu and everything we order has been great except sometimes the beef is not tender - but we seldom order red meat anyway. THe owner is always pleasant, patient and accomodating. It's the only Chinese restaurant we order now. The place is clean and comfortable for dining in, but the ambience isn't of the same level as PF Changs or Sesame Inn, but then neither are the prices. read more

We placed an order two weeks ago and my sezchuan beef was so tough that I could not chew it. The veggies and rice were fine but the beef was very difficult to chew. Yesterday we ordered lunch again and my chicken and shrimp with rice had almost no flavor. The chicken was plentiful but almost mushy tasting. I managed to find two small pieces of shrimp. My husband said his food was okay, but he lost most of his taste after having Covid in 2020. I hope that the food gets better because this place is very convenient to order from. read more

We ordered take out from Dragon not long after Covid year and loved the food. Yesterday suggested to my daughter from Maryland we dine inside for late dinner and glad we did. Excellent extensive menu and we both agreed the food was best tasting in the area and could compete well anywhere. I ate then mentioned I shouldn't have to pay for extra sweet and sour sauce the man behind the counter threw my money on the floor and wanted to fight me if the lady there didn't stop him he would of attacked me it was very unprofessional this was after i paid anyway then when i was leaving he ran to my car and tried to attack me again same lady pulled him away very unprofessional what a wack job i would not tell anyone to go there he is a loose cannon! This is my go-to for Chinese. The food is always tasty and fresh. They have a small authentic menu and a large American Chinese menu. I like trying some of my tried and true options while being adventurous and ordering from the authentic menu as well. Staff is always friendly when I pick up. It's take-out only. They have a drive-through for pick up which is just so convenient. read more

I've live just on the other side of highland park bridge. For years I've been trying to find a good Chinese restaurant. How I'm just now trying this place is beyond me. My first time eating here which was just a few weeks ago, I kept it simple and ordered the shrimp fried rice and shrimp Lo mein. It was great. They're very generous on the shrimp and they're not small either. Today was my 2nd time eating here and we got General Tsos Chicken(white meat), sweet and sour chicken(white meat) and shrimp fried rice. EVERYTHING was FANTASTIC!!! I ordered wedding soup and triple delight. their soup is always good but the noodles are always a bit thick and the broth lacks much flavor. my triple delight had several bites of rice that were very undercooked. I order from here periodically because I live nearby but I wish for the money that the food was a bit more flavorful. read more

Dragon Palace is a gem. The food -- both the American Chinese and traditional -- is tasty, delivery is fast, and the owner (who sometimes does delivery runs) is wonderful. This is 100% my favorite Chinese food place in all of Pittsburgh. I am usually very picky with my Chinese food since my family owns 3 Chinese restaueanta back home in NH. My absolutely fave dish comes off their authentic menu - the Diced Chicken Chingqing Style. My other top orders include the Shredded Beef, Szechuan Style, General Tsos Chicken, Curry Singapore Noodles and Kung Pao Chicken. Lunch specials come with either an egg roll or choice of soup and I mix it up every time. Portions are large and they make everything quickly. They're also all so friendly. Very solid Chinese at a reasonable price. Quality is still high at this price point - 50-75% less than other Chinese in the area (taipei, jimmy wans). While not the absolute best in the area and on the level of the two others mentioned, Dragon Palace provides affordable chinese that's delivered by courteous drivers while still piping hot. We ordered for Christmas. It was so good!!! Everyone from my family was very happy. The delivery came quicker than expected and the food was still hot. Easily the best Chinese food in the area. Forget Jimmy Wans and Tai Pei. Cheesy name aside, Dragon Palace is authentic and delicious. Ho fun noodles are fresh, flavorful and not too greasy. The diced chicken with fried pepper has a wonderful crunch with a spicy salt and pepper kick. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu next time. We just discovered this little place, which seems to do most of its business in take-out. They also have a drive-through window that stayed busy. We dined in, and were not disappointed. I had the Seafood Delight, a generous serving of shrimp, scallops and crab with a melange of vegetables in a mild garlic sauce. It was delicious, and beautifully presented on a platter, garnished with an artfully-sliced and really sweet, juicy half an orange on a bed of celery leaves. My husband had the vegetarian Green Jade Delight and said it was very good. The portions were large (the leftovers we took home will make another night's dinner), the staff was friendly and attentive, the prices reasonable. With our check, received not only the obligatory fortune cookies but also a complimentary small serving of vanilla ice cream. We'll definitely be going back. read more
