    23. Roast Pork Fried Rice
    Cayla S.

Umm, how did we not know about this place before? My husband walked in with the bags, and I knew the food was going to be great just by the aroma! This is some of the best food Chinese we had in this area, and we tried it on a whim. My roast pork fried rice was bomb! There's literally nothing else to say about it. The best! I think that I'll be my go-to. My steamed dumplings were pretty good as well. I received a cup of chili oil on the side, which completed them well. I'm excited to try more on the menu! Y'all are lucky I stopped to take photos, because I almost forgot it smelled and tasted so good!

Chicken w Chicken with Broccoli large and small Egg Drop Soup

I ordered Chicken broccoli and egg drop soup for delivery. It arrived within 30 minutes! The large chicken broccoli came in a brown sauce and included carrots. Really tasty and the sauce had soy sauce, oil and garlic flavors. It also included rice. The egg drop soup was good and included crunchy noodles. It arrived quickly and the soup was so hot I had to put ice cubes in it to eat it.

Sweet and sour chicken combo plate with a pork egg roll. Sauce usually comes on the side but I poured it on top.

This order is based on delivery (yelp). During the most recent snow storm we had I didn't want to leave the house so I ordered Chinese through yelp. My food arrived within the time slot given to me, and my driver was very friendly and quick. The food was warm, and delicious. I got the sweet and sour chicken, and the sauce came on the side. I enjoy when they do this because I can use the leftover sauce to dip my egg roll in. A few negatives included: no fork or napkins in my delivery order, thankfully I was at home and had some on hand. They also didn't read my special request, in which I requested duck sauce on the side. Thankfully, I had the sweet and sour sauce to hold me over. Overall, I will order from them again!

Great little place in my neighborhood for takeaway. My typical order consists of spring rolls and one of their soup selections. I have never had a problem with anything I've eaten here. It's always good and it is super affordable especially when compared with others in the area.

Each time I went, the place was busy with smiling customers. I attached pics of what I ordered; service is constantly prompt, and both times, the food came out quickly. Each and every item that I tried here has been tasty. The prices are reasonable & the portion sizes are very generous. I can't wait to explore the menu!

But lo and behold, tucked in between Forbes and Fifth, is a small little restaurant called Bao. My assumption was that a place called Bao would have bao. I assumed correctly; Bao indeed has bao. Bao bao bao bao bao. There, I got it all out of my system. I was slightly concerned with the pictures, as the bao looked on the smaller size, but was pleased to find that the bao was a nice plump size. I went for the steamed bao with braised pork. Tender and flavorful with a dumpling dough that wasn't too heavy or too light. There's five per order so they definitely work as a good lunch for one or a sharable for two or three. The dipping sauce was good too but the bao was so good it didn't even need it. This place is on the way back from a weekly appointment of mine so I'll definitely be back... and I won't scarf it down so fast I forget to take pics!

It seemed to attract a lot of nearby people on their lunch breaks as well as students. I went in late December so it wasn't too busy and I found parking around the corner. I was seated and browsed through the menu. I ended up ordering: - Warm HK milk tea: I found this overly sweet overwhelming the milk tea - Pork with egg: This was under the HK menu with the char siu, crispy duck, and chicken option. What I got was not what I was expecting (char siu and boiled egg). The plate was more egg drop soup with pork and peas. It also had a sweet flavor. - Dim sum for one: Sui mai was decent. Har gao was off. They must have put something meant for the dessert dumpling into it. Coconut didn't have the mochi consistency I was expecting. It was very soft, not at all sticky or chewy. Staff was really nice. I just didn't enjoy my meal, unfortunately.
