Been coming here for about a year. Great massages, reasonably priced and usually able to get in same day appointments. The woman that runs the place is so lovely, friendly and I always look forward to seeing her. It's always been a consistently great experience - both solo & couples massages. I definitely recommend! read more

This is the best massage you can get for the best price. I came here with my bridesmaids, and they were able to accommodate us at a very short notice. The owner also gave us some complimentary cookies that she had which was very nice. Highly recommend! read more

I love going to this spa for a last minute treatment. Most of the therapists are kind and good at relaxing muscles. I had one male therapist who was way too intense- even though I like a strong massage. Overall, very happy with this place. read more

I came here for the first time a few months ago due to pain in my lower back and shoulders due to working from home all day. I distinctly remember sitting down around 7:30PM on Yelp and looking for a place to get a massage the next day... to my surprise Niravana Day Spa was STILL open that evening! I called them and they immediately scheduled me in within the hour. I didn't get the name of the masseuse, but I've been there a few times after my initial appointment and every single person has been really good. Try this place out! Their rates are super competitive and they're open late. read more

I wanted to like this place because I liked the masseuse, but the receptionist who took my payment just ruined the whole experience for me. She's money hungry, disrespectful, a liar, and absolutely ungrateful. I asked them before my massage if I can use my card to pay and they said yes. After I finished my massage and was changing i back unto my clothes, I heard someone asked to pay with their card and they did and completed the transaction. When I went up to pay, she asked me how am I paying and I said credit card. (Doesn't even ask me how the massage was or if i enjoyed the service.) she then does this pretend act saying "oh actually the card machine is not working, so here's our Venmo and you can pay there or pay in cash." All of a sudden it doesn't work lol. Obviously they're trying not to pay taxes by having every other customer pay cash specifically, then occasionally having a credit card payment. I told her I didn't have enough cash for a big tip and the bill, that's why I asked earlier if I can pay the bill on my card , so I can give her a tip in cash. The lady doesn't care and says Venmo or cash. So now I'm being forced to use my cash, and was lied to, so now the tip is smaller. When I give her my money she says "that's it? Tip is supposed to be 20%." EXCUSE ME???? A TIP IS A TIP. Get it through your head that a tip is OPTIONAL out of GRATUITY. So I explained to her again that since she lied, I had to use cash which it came out of her tip. She then proceeded to try to argue with me about giving her a bigger tip and trying to make a scene in front of other customers to try to embarrass me. I told her that's all I'm giving ESPECIALLY with this awful service. I should've taken back my entire tip since apparently they don't appreciate tips. They're already trying to pay under the table by using ONLY VENMO AND CASH. The least they could do is appreciate their customers for going along with it instead of getting money hungry. They seriously need to be inspected by the IRS. read more

Yen just gave me the most amazing face massage! I hold so much tension in my face; I clench my jaw, purse my lips and I furrow my brows. I get tension headaches. Yen used her hands to apply perfect pressure all over my facial muscles to release the tension and I feel so much better. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back. After around 1 year , I finally came back this place! I went to blueberry picking like 20 minutes away then I felt tired so I decided to come here and relax. This place are so busy , because I didn't make appointments and just walked in so it took like 20 minutes waiting ( which means this business is very very good ) , so whoever wants to come better to make appointments first . T'he place is clean and the employees are smile to me , we didn't talk but I felt like it right away again ! They are so quiet not like other place , the employees are talking loudly . They are so quiet and so relax so I fell asleep right away . That is the best part if you can take a nap during the massage time! I love this place . 6 stars , maybe 7 stars ! The place is kind of old but no smell inside at all . People told me this business is being here for over 10 years ! I like it . Highly recommended! By te way I took 90 minutes foot massage, $70 ! Good deal! read more

My daughters and I have been coming to Nirvana for many years. For Christmas 2019, my daughter gave me a gift certificate. Well I lost it. Yesterday I found it. Five years later! We went in this morning and I gave it to the manager and she said she wondered what happened to that certificate from so many years ago. She obviously let me use it. My husband doubted it. Well he was wrong. And of course I had an epic massage! read more

After a day of intense sports exercising, I searched on Yelp for a spa to help me unwind and discovered Thousand Oaks Nirvana day spa. I'm glad I chose this spa because I had an exceptional experience. Although English is not her first language, Ivy, the masseuse, was still able to understand my specific needs and provide an outstanding massage that left me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The facilities were top-notch and contributed to the overall atmosphere of tranquility. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful escape. Enjoyed my relaxing massage and I thought I found a good place in my area. However, as I was checking out, Ivy, the masseuse makes a comment "tip would be cash only" When I tipped her $10 she said it should be 20% of the amount, well I guess she was expecting a $20 tip. I believe in tipping as a reward for your service. Not a must do! I don't have to tip you. Even 5 star hotels do not hold you accountable this way to tip for a massage. My tip is my choice and It is the amount I want to give. It's my right as a costumer to make that decision. Too bad! I guess this place will not be happy with you unless you tip 20% lol Not no tip, 10 %, not 15 %, not 18% but 20% UPDATE on this review: As you can see below, the manager answers back ignoring my concern. Will never go back to this place They demand tip so obnoxiously Go to other local spas like Organic spa down the street similar rates with much cleaner, upscale designed facility, and very friendly staff read more

My friend and I have been coming to Nirvana for about 7 years now and have always loved it. Unfortunately it appears they changed management or something because the usual lady at the front was no longer there when we came in. The massage was fine (started late, stopped early) but upon checking out up front and handing the cash tip over the lady working the register said "no good" (what?!). I responded "no good? As in the tip you were given?" First off, we always make sure to pay in cash for the services to help the business out and ANY tip in general is always extra gratuity!! Not to mention my massage started later than my friend and ended at the same time as hers.. I keep note of such things when it comes to tipping. Regardless we were appalled to be shamed for the tip! Upon explaining we always tip this amount and my massage was shorter than my friends, she responded shaking her head saying "we work so hard" I was in utter shock and said frankly that I could take the tip back if they would like me to. After I said that she simply took the cash and didn't reply. This was such an uncomfortable experience for both my friend and I who have been loyal customers for many years. A customer should never be shamed for leaving ANY TIP EVER!! Saying "no good" regarding a customers tip to the customer's face is absolutely appalling. If you need to raise the prices then raise them! Shame to say we will NOT be returning and will be taking our business to a new location going forward. Leaving one extra star for the massage itself as while it was short it was good and I appreciated it. read more

The "cream of the crop" of massage/foot massage places. There are a ton of these places up and down TO boulevard and Nirvana outshines any of the ones I've visited. You get everything you pay for, the massages are amazing. My recommendations: couples massage is fantastic; the facial is a must; the foot scrub is energizing. Make this a part of your monthly (or even weekly) routine. read more

My experience was like a candid camera experience. I had the misfortune of getting a military like massage therapist (female). She started my massage by ambushing me with the menu and telling me what massage I needed to do. I wanted the regular foot massage and she told me I needed the combination. After 5 min of arguing with her I just said yes. She was horrible. If I put my hands in the wrong place she quickly moved them. They up sell everyone who comes in as I observed. The manager told me that she has told the owner the therapist I had was terrible and they don't fire her. I'm not into massage places that have massage therapists whose motive is selling, then give a terrible massage. The manager is crazy! Don't go here! read more

I'm so disappointed in this place me and my husband went in to RELAX and get a nice massage together we purchased the full body massage and added the extra $10 deep blue we'll let me start by saying the 2 girls that massaged us were talking and laughing the whole time they also kept walking out of our massage so it wasn't even the whole 60 minutes the massage was so rough after I told her I wanted it gentle she did not listen I woke up today so sore this place is a rip off I kindly asked the manager why went on in our massage and didn't even care to give us a discount but to just yell at the girls that gave us a massage please take your money else where! read more

My husband and I have been here 5 times and we always have a great experience. They are always accommodating and their massages have been great. I recently tried cupping for the very first time as I've been having severe pain on my shoulders/neck. I came in with a bad headache and left feeling lighter and my headache was gone.
