If I could give zero stars, I would. They stole my Tiffany bracelet right off my wrist while I was inside. I even have a photo of myself wearing it immediately before entering. When I asked for video footage, I was told the cameras "weren't working." The manager shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. While I was in pain getting my brows done, the bracelet was unclipped and taken. Not only is this place terrible at what they actually advertise (eyebrows), but they're also run by people who refuse to take accountability or help when theft happens right under their roof. This is dishonest, shady, and unacceptable. I hope this review reaches as many people as possible, because no one should support or trust a business that treats customers this way. *This happened a couple of years ago! I am just catching up on my reviews! read more

I can't say enough good things about Nirvana Beauty & Brows! I've been going to Rumi for all my skincare needs, and she is truly amazing at what she does. From perfectly shaping my eyebrows with threading to gentle face waxing and her signature hydra facials everything is always top tier. Every time I have an appointment with her, it honestly feels like all my stress just melts away. There's something so calming about being in her care, and she really takes the time to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. I trust her completely with my skin (which says a lot because I'm super picky), and she never disappoints. After every facial, my skin feels incredibly hydrated, smooth, and just glowing. You can really tell she puts her heart into her work. If you're looking for someone who truly knows skincare and makes you feel your best, Rumi is the one read more

Take this review from someone who used to do brows myself and now schedules appointments with Nirvana. I absolutely love Nirvana Beauty & Brows. Sarita is AMAZING at threading and nails it every time. The price is great and I always walk out with great brows. Highly recommend! read more

While I've been blessed to avoid the unibrow struggle or looking like a character from "Teen Wolf," I'm a guy who takes pride in his grooming game. After two decades of threading experience across North America and Europe - and trying every salon from Manhattan to Milan - I can confidently say this place ranks among the elite. Only a magical spot in Toronto edges it out. This cozy, immaculate salon in SF offers everything from threading to waxing and beyond. Though most services cater to women, I can vouch for their eyebrow-threading expertise. Parmila, in particular, works with surgical precision and attention to detail. Her threading skills are so on point, she could probably thread a needle through a haystack blindfolded. I will definitely return next time I'm in San Francisco, and my inner Eugene Levy starts making an unwanted appearance. Because let's face it - one Eugene Levy in Hollywood is plenty. read more

I'm super picky when it comes to my eyebrows and have found such a gem in FiDi! It's only $18 and is located in a old barber shop (so cute!). I saw Anita and she really took the time to examine my eyebrow shape and she threaded them perfectly with no pain. My eyebrows look perfect and I'll be back soon. Pro tip: book in advance as they get busy! read more

Great quick service! I walked in and they took me immediately which was nice. There's also a deal on Yelp

I used to come here all the time for eyebrow threading/waxing when I was living in SF. Nirvana always did a phenomenal job and I'm glad to see that they are still open after the peak of covid. Their service is great, they are always accommodating. I can't remember the name of the staff I had for my eyebrows, but all of the staff are lovely and extremely friendly. 10/10 would recommend this place! read more

I have been coming here for a couple years to get my eyebrows threaded and decided to try out Parmila for the first time! She was super great with shaping and cleaning up my eyebrows. It only took about 15 minutes and I walked away very happy! Would recommend her and I will be back! read more

I have never had a bad experience here for brows. This is my go-to place. I usually just schedule with any open provider and they are all great. Parking is tough now that I need to drive in (I used to work within waling distance), but it's worth the hassle. read more

I've ONLY gotten my brows threaded by Rumi for the last 5+ years and still have not gone anywhere else. I recently got brown lamination for the first time and love it. I'm a couple days in and people have said my brows look fuller! It's amazing to not HAVE to fill in my brows everyday. I did get the tint as well which is only supposed to last two weeks compared to lamination lasting six weeks so I anticipate needing to start filling it again in a week! read more

This is my favorite eyebrow threading place. I've been going to Rumi for over 8 years and she is the sweetest person ever. She makes my eyebrows so clean and polished, but keeping the natural shape. The head massage at the end is always the cherry on top. Go support Nirvana! read more

This is still my favorite eyebrow spot! Kopila is the talent behind my brows! I have some bare spots in my brows that make them really hard to match Kopila always does a great job getting them as close to even as possible! read more

(Trusted yelp previews that's why I came to try this place) Thank you! I LOVED IT! The one who helped me was Kopila, I called ahead but to think it was more on just a walk-in. She was very nice and friendly. The place is clean and I love the music that they're playing in the background- makes you feel at peace. Kopila asked me how I wanted my eyebrows (preference) before she started to work on it. Also, she lets you know what she's going to do and makes you see the draft before she continues. I am so happy and will definitely be back for hopefully a full face next time. read more

This is such a lovely place with the sweetest staff of all time. I have been getting my eyebrows waxed by Kopila for quite some time now and she does a fantastic job each and every time. When I first came here, I had never gotten my eyebrows done and was pretty nervous. Kopila was super friendly and explained everything very thoroughly, and the rest is history! I can't recommend this place enough. I'm a fan for life and I think everyone would enjoy it as well! read more

Best eyebrow threading in all of SF. If you live or work in the financial district I highly recommend this place. I always get the $8.00 coupon for eyebrow threading. They also massage your eyebrow after threading I almost fell asleep. read more

I have been going here for years (since 2013) and hands down best, most consistent, most calming threading place in NorCal. I am a loyalist to Rumi but even with others, they do an amazing job. Rumi is also a magician with skincare and she's the only one now who does my facials and microdermabrasion. Do yourself a favor and book the head massage. It's divine. read more

My go to waxing eyebrow lady nail salon permanently closed down in downtown so I was desperate looking for someone to touch up on my eyebrows. I heard threading was a better solution for eyebrows because it isnt as harsh as waxing. So I decided to try nirvana, it's 3 blocks away from my house so it was very convenient. I made an appointment with Rumi the owner at 2pm on Sundays. Apparently she only works Sunday too due to the pandemic. I went in at 2pm and was instantly greeted by Rumi. They have an automatic hand sanitizer and require you to use it once you step in the business and check in with your phone number. It took Rumi 20 mins to thread my eyebrows and honestly it wasn't super painful but it felt like a pinch. I loved the massage in the end, it can definitely put me to sleep. Best massage I've ever had in my life LOL. Total came out to be $18, I loved the results and I will definitely be back every month for a touch up! Thank you Rumi! P.s they accept credit card :) read more

Nirvana Beauty & Brows - Freshly thread eyebrows :) $18 - Skin Care Near Me - San Francisco, California

Last minute weekend appointment for brows threading in this cute and chic SF salon. Anita is a complete professional and super sweet. From scheduling the appointment to the threading, everything was perfect. She did an excellent job and was very personable. Very hygienic and all COVID precautions and mandates were followed. You have to wait outside until your appointment time. Scheduling and appointment is all managed through text messaging which was very convenient and easy. I have very sensitive skin yet there was very little redness and irritation afterwards. The shape and cleanup was perfect. Anita asked about my preferences prior to starting. While its a bit on the pricey side, the cleanliness and professionalism is worth the cost for great looking eyebrows in a safe and clean environment. Can't wait to comeback when I am back in the city! read more

I hate getting my brows waxed because my face gets all red. I prefer getting my brows threaded because it's more natural. This spot is super close to my work place and price wise it's very cheap during Happy Hour time. $15 for eyebrow, upper lip threading and face massage during Happy Hour!! I recommended all my coworkers to come here!! read more

I used to be a regular at this nice place and had always great threading service by Rumi, she knows what she's doing and is very pleasant to talk to. And I hate to leave a bad review but have to do it to warn other customers. I went as a walk-in first time and asked if they're available for brow threading. A new master took me in and I was a little nervous as I used to get my brow threading done by Rumi and know that she won't disappoint, so I mentioned that I just want the shaping of existing brow contour, just a maintenance. I had a brow straightening (lamination without the shape) 2 weeks prior and wanted to get rid of small hair outside of the shaping area. The master said she understood and will do just minimal threading with existing shape and asked me to relax. I wanted to trust her so I relaxed and waited for the end. When she finished with threading I thought that I'll be given a mirror to check if I like it/want more as Rumi always did. Instead the new master proceeded with the scissors and after pulling the brow hair up cut them short (and when they're straightened they can be very high up when pulled, I usually shape them to have fuller brows). I asked to give me a mirror and saw that I now had not full brows with a clean shape but short hairs sticking in different directions. When I voiced my dissatisfaction and reminded that I asked for just threading the minimum extra hair, she continued saying that it's not that bad and it's okay, repeating this in a calm voice many times while I disagreed that it's not okay and wasn't what I was asking for. Now I'm left with a joke of a left brow and uneven right one that I was able to save partially, and 100$ brow lamination is waisted which is not to say I'll have to live with this for at least a couple of months until they grow back. This is horrible work and the master acted completely unprofessionally telling me that it's not that bad and she did the right thing, downplaying my dissatisfaction and that I asked beforehand to just do the minimal threading, not cutting. I hope the owners take this review to their attention and train their masters properly to work with clients as well as to not ruin other's brows. read more

Came here for an eyebrow threading. Learned about them via Groupon and would come back without a groupon! Really great place because 1) they sanitize their hands - as well as your hands - before starting 2) they ask you about your goals for your eyebrows and really take into account what you want. We would stop a few times and she would give me a mirror and consult me about things. I love that! I want to give this place 5 stars, but -1 star because at the end, she pressured me to fill in my eyebrows with a make up pencil. I'm not sure if she was just trying to find another service to charge me for or was just trying to be nice and show me make up tips, but that give me bad vibes. read more

I found this place on Groupon and decided to try it out. My eyebrows were left amazing and I've been going back since. The place is clean, staff sanitizes their and your hands before starting service, everyone is overall very friendly. My go to person though, is Anita. She's careful, never has caused me any pain, and makes sure my eyebrows are left exactly how I like them. Only downside for me is that it's an hour drive. But willing to drive that far because I love the service! read more

First time receiving services here, being that I live in Portland. I did have a wedding to attend to in town so I reached out to Rumi via text and she was willing to work with me. I haven't touched my brows in about two months, so after doing some research, this place had the best reviews. The salon is comforting and the soothing music really sets the tone. Rumi was gentle with the process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. They have a happy hour which made my upper lip service free! Can't beat that! Overall lovely experience and would recommend to anyone who is either new to threading or has done it before. Happy with my results (: read more

Love this place! I go for waxing and eye brows and they do an excellent, thorough job. Everything is clean and you feel so welcome.

I've always waxed my eyebrows but my friend just started threading and she now swears by it so I thought I should check the hype and I was not disappointed. They have a happy hour on Thursdays and Fridays 12-5PM for a free upper lip threading with the eyebrow service ($15) I loved the threading and I'm so glad my first threading experience was here. Everyone was nice. They really made my first time relaxing. I left it to them to shape my eyebrows and they did amazingly. Definitely don't skip the ice and aloe at the end. The face massage was heavenly. I've heard that threading can be painful depending on how they do it and honestly, it barely hurt at all. I enjoyed it way more than waxing. Thank you Nirvana for turning me on to threading. Never going back to waxing! read more

Call ahead and make your appointment! They usually have open spots for same day appointments and are less busy during the weekdays. I've came early to every single one of my appointments and they are still able squeeze me in! They also have a loyalty card! Your 6th eyebrow threading is free :) If you want to try it out, there is currently a groupon! But seriously, once you thread your brows at Nirvana, you will never go anywhere else. read more

Alright, here's goes my first review because I'm speechless. I've gone to endless salons for endless eyebrow waxes and this place has just taken the cake. I called and went in right away, Sanam was super sweet and professional, and these are the best damn eyebrows I've ever had. The threading was quick and almost painless (for me) and there was a short head massage at the end that could've put me to sleep. I'm hooked. Don't hesitate - go. read more

Highly recommend for getting your brows done in the city! I've been going here ever since my office used to be nearby a few years ago and have always had a great experience. Kopila is truly the best! She is very meticulous and does such a great job. I've been to so many other brow spots in the Bay Area and no one really compares to the consistency these women have when threading! Very safe too. The little head massage they give at the end is such a nice relaxing touch it's almost like a mini spa day when you get your brows done. read more

The best brow service I've ever received. Nisha takes her time to make sure you get exactly the eyebrows you want. I've never been to a threading shop where you are handed a mirror multiple times to confirm that your brows are coming along how you want them to, so I was certainly impressed. The process never felt rushed, and her threading was careful. I appreciated how she would softly brush away the threaded hairs off my face. Too many times have I left my usual threading shop down in SoCal with a face full of little eyebrow hairs. You know why? Because most shops don't care about any of that. They just want you in and out as soon as possible. Even though Nisha had customers waiting, she gave me her full and honest attention. She was as gentle as possible, and I felt very peaceful as calming music was played. Definitely text or call her for an appointment. I was able to get one same day for a lunch time appointment and it's a good thing I did because I would have to have waited a while until she got to me since she places priority on appointments! As it should be. Check out Groupon for an awesome discount. No head massage for me :-( but she still absolutely deserves 5 stars. read more
