I had a horrible experience here a few months ago getting my eyebrows tinted. I will attach a photo of how messy my brow tinting was. This is pricey place and I was hoping thag would result in an amazing brow tinting job but she simply slapped on some dye on my eyebrow and let it sit, then boom I was out the door look as horrific as ever. I do not recommend this place for getting your brows tinted, I can see that they do a decent job with microblsding but I personally had a terrible experience. read more

I was impressed how fast I got an appointment with Tracy. I felt rushed because apparently I was squeezed in. She was getting updates about how many were waiting by her husband who is also at the front desk. I was happy leaving the salon until I got home and removed brow makeup. Tracy is a warm, kind person and immediately made me feel at home at Eye Candy. She listened carefully to me when describing what I wanted my brows to look like and she got the shape, thickness, and color exactly right. Microblading is a bit pricey, but I strongly feel that it's worth it because of all the time saved. I never leave reviews, so this is a big deal. I've been going to Tracy for several years for eyebrows and eyelashes and have also been thrilled. She completely reshaped my brows and I won't consider going to anyone else. But what I need to talk is the microblading. I just got my brows micro bladed and it is AMAZING. Literally life changing. I can get up and put on mascara and lip gloss and go instead of drawing on brows. This has given me my time back, I look younger, it looks totally natural and I couldn't be happier. I've been in twice and overall had a great experience. Tracy is very skilled and both times I walked out feeling confident about my brows! The only reason I've taken off one star is because I do think it is a bit overpriced. I am fine with the $40 maintenance, but the $65 consultation for the most part seems like a way to get $25 extra from new customers. I had my brows microbladed by Tracy and they look AMAZING! I have a pretty natural look - most days I wear zero make up, but when I do wear make up it consists of eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. I've always had nicely shapped, but thin and patchy brows. I did microblading to get them more uniform and defined. Tracy was very respectful of my request to keep my natural brow shape and to keep my brows still looking like me! She used a pencil to draw on how my finished brows would look, and then worked with me to make any modifications I wanted. The procedure is not comfortable, but I wasn't in pain (thanks to the numbing treatment ahead of time). The liquid bandage antiseptic was the most "painful" part and it just stung for a few seconds after it was applied. I've never had any other work done at the shop, but the space is clean, stylish, and has a friendly vibe. Thanks Tracy! Can't wait for my touch up in 30 days! read more

I just went here and definitely not worth the money. I felt bad but as soon as I saw the final result because it wasn't what I wanted at all. My lashes were curled but both eyes looked different and she pulled at my lashes which makes me think that I lost a few while doing this. And they werent as lifted as other times I have gotten my eyelashes curled at different places. My natural lashes are long and she curled in a way that makes them now look super short. I wish I never went there and gotten them done. And now I feel like my lashes are ruined for the event I had initially was going to them for. read more

Jena is my favorite esthetician in San Francisco. I had a very rejuvenating and relaxing LED light therapy facial with a glycolic peel and high frequency treatment. The steam and head/scalp, shoulder, arms and feet massage felt so good as well! The peel and extractions really left my skin so clean and the high frequency and LED that she did for my acne and wrinkles was super cool; I wasn't even red afterwards! Tracy is lovely, and I got a single treatment embroidery on my eyebrows. They were nearly perfect eyebrows but there were a few tiny patches. I contacted the salon and was shocked when I was denied the opportunity to come in for a minor touch up when part of the embroidery flaked off in the first week. I was informed I would have to pay the full $500 again for any touch even minor touch up. Just bad customer service amazing first impressions. read more

I went for a lash perm and tint. It looked good when I left and the people were all great....but it lasted maybe 2 days. Maybe I just have difficult lashes but I doubt I will do it again. No special event is worth spending that much money to have your natural lashes look good for just the weekend. read more

INCREDIBLE! For years I have been getting my lashes done and now that I found Jena she is the only one I will see to have them done. Her work is so detailed she takes the time to make sure that every lash is taken care of. Not only is she meticulous but she also has a great business demeanor. She makes sure that you are comfortable she's engaging in conversation and when you're done you feel so great and relaxed. I almost hesitate to write a review, because if they get too popular it might be harder for me to get subsequent appointments. But the fact that this place has only four reviews (as of today) is just wrong. Tracy is on maternity leave, but Selenia is seeing all of her clients, and she did a wonderful job. I came in for a consultation and brow shaping, and Selenia told me I would benefit from a brow tint. So she did the tinting and then she trimmed and threaded my brows until they looked more uniform and neat. My brows were sparse and unruly before, but now they look fuller and more even. I will be coming here from now on whenever I need maintenance and another tint. I am hooked! Not only do my brows look great, I had a nice time being in the salon. Jennifer did my lash perm and tint and they look amazing. My eyelashes tend to stick out straight if I don't use a curler, but as soon as she was finished they actually looked better than I have ever made them look. Plus the fact that they last 4-6 weeks is wonderful considering lash extensions have to be redone in less time! Will definitely be back. read more

Well if one checks the lower rated reviews for this place they will find that they are poor customer service related - if that does not matter to you, my experience should not be a deal breaker. But I had to share it as I was utterly shocked today. I had my first appointment about 5 weeks ago. I was satisfied with the threading and Deborah was gentle and knowledgeable. Today was my second appointment . Eye candy requires a 24 hour cancellation policy which I respect. I came back from New York yesterday - which they actually knew because I tried to book an earlier appointment earlier this week. A couple hours before my flight back to SF I came down with sudden and severe flu symptoms. It was so bad that we had to page my GP as soon as we made it home. We landed late last night and I woke up much worse as I had not started the prescribed Tamiflu yet. The first thing I did at 7 am with a totally lost voice was to leave a message to eye candy to say that I am very sick and have to cancel. I did not hear back by 11 so I called back. A nice lady spoke to me which I suspect was Deborah - when I explained she said not to worry but had to confirm. She came back few minutes later to say that the owner said that it was ok but that they will charge me anyways ! I could not believe it. I explained to her that I could ask my boyfriend to drop me off at the risk of infecting everyone but it was not the right thing to do plus frankly I was so weak. She went again and came back to say nope we need to charge you. I said fine I am coming. I literally put on a trench coat over my pajama and went in. I could not believe it but out of principle I went. It was a 10 min ride from my place which I regret a bit as I felt worse afterwards. I shared my sentiment with Deborah and I frankly don't blame her (though my eyebrow shape was not as I requested). But her boss had no clue on what it is to work with customers and make them feel cared for. How can anyone claim to be in the people's business and have no regard or empathy for both their clients or/and employees putting them at risk of catching a virus! Or she thought I was a liar. Not sure which one is worse. I think as I paid, Deborah knew I was not going to call back, seriously would you? read more

Wow Tracy is exceptional! Today was the day I got immunity from Covid and I celebrated with getting my brows done. Tracy spent an hour going over every hair on my brow, choosing which to cut, which to tweeze and which to thread and why, and in meticulous detail gave me movie star eyebrows!
