I recently got my eyebrows threaded here, and I am amazed by how perfect my eyebrows came out. I feel like a new woman! This was my first experience with getting my eyebrows threaded. Pradilla (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) had shaped my eyebrows perfectly! I felt relaxed and it was a therapeutic first time experience. In my opinion, eyebrow threading is less painful than eyebrow waxing, but others may beg to differ. My eyebrows are best shaped when they are threaded compared to when they were waxed before. I would never go back to getting my eyebrows waxed again! Keep in mind, for eyebrow threading: If you go there before 2pm, it'll cost $13, and if you're there after 2pm it'll cost $15. read more

First impression walking in, the place was small and poorly decorated with no music playing so it was really quiet in the room. However, she threaded my eyebrows really well even though I just needed to clean up the bottom part. Her price of $12 is excellent for her quality of work. I was in the area and decided to take a chance and this ended up being a classic case of yelp fail. Why do I go somewhere based on the advice of 26 people? Alas, lesson learned. There was only one person working so I'm guessing she's the owner. I grew out my brows for weeks and after threading the right one looks fine but on the left she basically made one heinous curve instead of a clean arch that starts straight from my nose. It's uneven on both the top and the bottom, how do you even do that unless you're just not looking? I wish I said something while I was still there but once the hair is gone its futile anyways Now I have to disguise it with makeup for 4 more weeks. My upper lip got a nice clean threading but the brows were not good :( read more

I found this spot randomly on Yelp. I walked in and was seated right away around lunch time. The lady was really nice and she took her time making sure my brows were threaded well. I am definitely coming back. I think she only does walk ins. I am pretty sure I saw a sign that said, "no appointments" Protip: You have to go into the complex parking lot to find her entrance. The entrance to this place can be confusing. The downstairs door on the street level is locked and makes it seem like it's closed. You have to go to the upper level in the large parking lot to enter. Huzzah! Finally an inexpensive, unpretentious place to get your eyebrows (or other bits) threaded in the mission/soma borderlands. I was seated, brows shaped and on my way in eight minutes. I didn't experience the redness I get from waxing and my brows were well shaped and symmetrical. I'll be back as soon as my brows need freshening. The price and value can't be beat. Walk in, sit down, be threaded. That is what I'm talking about!! There's nothing fancy about this place, it's hot as all hell inside but when the fan is on everything roses. When my lady put gloves on her hands I thought 'whoa what am I in for'?! She does press a little hard, that's only because she wants to get alllll the hairs. After my session, I have to say she did a perfect job. The lady, who is from Nepal by the way, was very pleasant and accommodating to my request when I asked her to trim my brows with scissors. I've been trying to find an eyebrow threading place closer to where I live and found this! Sangita was great! I was worried that the shape may change but she did a great job just cleaning around my brows. I have very sensitive eyebrows and some other places dig the thread into my skin making me bleed/red/leaving bumps, but she didn't which I appreciate. She also noticed right away that my skin was sensitive and asked before using any baby powder/moisturizing wipes. Definitely recommend coming here. It is an understatement when I say finding a GOOD threading salon is like finding Gold. Who doesn't want their eyebrows to be on fleek?! So glad I did some searching and found this tiny salon in Potrero Center, its located on the outside facing the Metro PCS store. I come to the 24 Hour fitness here everyday so it is extremely convenient for me. Sanjita did a great job on my brows. She didn't rush through them nor did she take ages. Convenient, friendly, thorough service. The Eyebrow Shapers is conveniently located in a shopping mall near Potrero Hill with a ton of free parking (no circling around looking for spots). The moment you enter, you're greeted by a reserved but very warm and kind owner. There's usually not much of a line (surprisingly) but she does a really great job. I've been to another place in Westfield Mall where they were too zealous and took off too much. She's much more careful about her work and very thorough. The owner of the place is the one who threads. I love this place! Parking is much easier. The prices is about the same as the threading places in this area. Probably a couple bucks cheaper. The lady is very clean. I love that she doesn't touch your face with bare hands. She always wears gloves and uses hand sanitizer. She changes the thread pretty often too. This is my new favorite place to get my eyebrows threaded. The owner does the threading and she does a very thorough job, making my brows a lot less Groucho Marx and a bit more Megan Fox. In addition to the great threading work, I love that I can always walk in, sit down, and be back out the door in 10 minutes. I miss Sanjita. I usually go on Saturdays and the new person who does the threading (don't remember her name unfortunately) is really good. I thought I won't miss Sanjita too much but then I went on a Tuesday. There was a different person (apparently there are multiple people doing different days) and she was not good at all. Everytime I get my eyebrows threaded by anyone for the first time, I let them know that I want to keep it thick, so only shape it. I did the same with her and then she started threading. She asked me to check after she was done, telling me my left eyebrow is grown well enough. After looking in the mirror, I told her what's wrong with it(pretty much everything) and she told me how I should look in the mirror because of the ways my eyebrows are etc etc. I told her that I know my eyebrows and I want her to make them look equal and she argued forever. Eventually she shaped 1 of them, asked me to look again - of course they were still not completely done. She missed hair everywhere, especially between the eyebrows. She didn't trim them well. Botchy job through and through. Even the upper lips had hair left after she was done and asked me to look and check. When I got annoyed, she tells me that she's been doing her job for 4 years apparently and never had such a problem. I told her I have had my eyebrows shaped for 10 years and never had such a problem either, ha! I've been going to eyebrow shapers for 2 years- most loyal customer - never had a problem. Never had to tell Sanjita ot the other person what to do and how to do it. Even after all this, she just wouldn't admit she messed up, kept telling me I don't understand or listen to her (when she wouldn't listen to me for 1 second) and that I kept telling her what to do (by asking her to keep them thick initially, as I mentioned). What a major mood spoiler. I finally got everything fixed and all extra hair cleaned (took a couple back and forths!!!) - but what a pain. I'll continue going here because they are awesome. Usually I go to a nail place downtown that does waxing since that's where I used to live, but it's not as convenient for me now to go regularly. The Eyebrow Shapers is a small place on the corner of potrero plaza. I believe that all they do is threading for eyebrows, but you know, if they only do that one thing, then they're at least good at it! The lady was nice and quick. There was no one else there when I went, but she mentioned that sometimes it gets busy and you'd have to wait since it just seems to be her alone, but that's unpredictable.
