Pretty sure I was overcharged to snake out my drains in my yard but it didn't work. The plumber told me I would need to do a snake like hydro to open my drains, it would be minimum $3800. No thank you... I paid in cash $385 and was never given a receipt, I have now requested it to be emailed to me twice and Still no receipt, huh? We just hired a plumber to do the hydro snake, our entire yard of drains $650.00 You do the math read more

Our laundry area started leaking, and we called at 4:45pm and they were able to get someone out that same evening. Really appreciated how they kept us updated on who was coming and the arrival time. Jorge was super - worked really clean and efficiently. Diagnosed the issue and fixed it right away. read more

Highly recommend this company! We had a terrible leak in our tub. I'm talking gallons of water pouring out and Ninja Plumber came to the rescue. Jonathan serviced the call and was beyond sweet. He was sure to break down the cause and showed us every part he was going to replace and how to prevent it from happening again. Ninja is always an honest and reliable company. From now on we're going to be using them as our apartment's residential plumber. read more

Extremely Inexperienced and unprofessional. The age old scam of "you need a new, in this case a water heater" $9000, for someone on a fixed income, just because it is 6 years old and operates well...just to make money for themselves!!! This is an elderly/disabled neighbor I check on who was experiencing an unusual leak, not from the water heater but an expansion tank/over flow/pressure tank. She paid $1500, No billing statement given, no explanation of service or parts needs! Terrible! She paid sight unseen for the replacement, item and an additional part sold to her, and 45 minutes for install after he returned from a lengthy lunch break. When I researched the products, $50 for the tank, and $25 for the unnecessary piece, for a total of (($75)) in parts...Service fee $1425?? OUTRAGEOUS!! The service person Jesse then told her that he tried several times but couldn't get the water heater turned back on, proving his lack of training and knowledge, and supporting his claim for a replacement. It was used fine for a quick bathing ten minutes prior to their arrival! The leak was the only issue! At this point is when she was told she needed a new water heater @$9000.!!! GUESS WHAT...Another neighbor friend turned it on for her in 2 minutes, and thinks the service person turned it off intentionally!! Criminal! To prey on the elderly and disabled to benefit one's self! She still has not received an itemized service billing in person or online. He also wanted to keep her old parts to "recycle" which in scam artist terms means one customer pay for and the service reuses it on another project, or cashes it in for monetary value for themselves. Those items belong to the owner if they want to keep them! There are so many reputable plumbing companies who have been in business many years in the area, and have the customer service skills and mechanical training and knowhow to treat everyone with kindness, consideration, and respect!! read more

These guys are the best. Good work, nice people and good prices. Big job or small, call a ninja.

I used Ninja Plumbers for my building and had an exceptional experience with them. Jenni was extremely helpful when I called. She sent out a gentleman named Jorge who was knowledgeable and fair. I was very pleased at their pricing and quick service. Thank you Ninja Plumbers! read more

I wanted to leave a review on the plumber technician, Jonathan. Even though I choose another company to do the work, as the price point was a greater saving. However, I wanted to share that Jonathan is exceptionally polite, professional and an all-around nice you young man. It is rare these days to come across many young people who actually are thoughtful of the older generation. I enjoyed conversing with Jonathan and appreciate his honest character. 5 Stars to a fine young man. read more

The company scheduled the estimate appointment timely and Adam came the same day I called. After seeing the location of the clean out and he gave me an estmate of $280 for the job. The reason, he said, was the sloped backyard where the drain clearout is located and the access is difficult. While I accepted the argument (pretty much no choice due to the urgency of the problem), I feel they could have clarify on the web that $73 was only for an easy access in-house drain clearing and all other jobs are estimated at site. Having said that, I have to say Adam did a very good job, gave us 10% senior discount and provided free camera inspection afterwards. read more

My toilet had a piece that broke off and Ninja came out for an estimate. They said $600! I said I could get a new toilet for that. After the representative worked his calculations for a couple of minutes, he said, $435. I felt so abused to now that he would take advantage of me for almost $200 and who know what the cost should have been? I was in a spot so I agreed. HOWEVER, knowing they would take advantage to an elderly woman to that extent... I would NEVER agree to any amount again. Head up to all... in these difficult times why let a company treat you like this? Never again! read more

Had the shower cold water get stuck open on a Saturday, but Ken from Ninja was able to get out in just an hour. Quick fix and good value.

Rip off. Quoted me $800 to replace a water presssure regulator that wasnt even the problem. $250 to clean out the water heater. $89 service charge just to come out and take a look... had a second plumber out for $25 service charge and $75 to clean out the water heater and $600 for pressure regulator... read more

Working with them has been a bit of a headache, and by a bit- I mean a total migraine. They are getting two stars because the girls who answer the phone are always pleasant, and because the one time they actually came out for the call in question, the technician told me a way I could DIY the project and save money (one star for honesty). We called a few weeks ago to have them fix a leaky water filter. The tech came out, told me how I could fix it, and boom, done. Well about a week later, the part failed again, so I called to have them come out and just fix it once and for all. They got it on the schedule for the following week (which was too long but whatever). The day comes, and they are supposed to come between 12 and 2. I get a call at 1:45 that they aren't going to make it in time, needs to be between 2 and 4. Ok. Then again- nothing. They didn't show until almost 7, to which at that point I said it was too late in the evening since it's a kitchen repair and we are making dinner and need to reschedule. I never hear back regarding rescheduling. So I call back this morning at 7:30, they say they'll be able to get someone out today, and they need to call me back within the hour. Hour goes by, nothing, so I call again. They said again, "just checking something, will call back in five". Nothing. I call back again (by this time it's 1:00PM) and I'm told that they don't have any availability until next week. Even though first thing in the morning, they said that they did. Anyway. Super disappointed. We had the replace our main line last year which was almost $20,000 and they did a decent job then. Unfortunately the issue is getting them to actually follow through with the appointment. I typically use Gold Medal Plumbing for anything else, and this just reaffirmed why I will continue to in the future. read more

Ah, the joys of scrambling for a plumber when bad shit happens to your home. Who can you trust? Who wont rip you a new one or upsell you unessential bullshit? Who will be fair, pleasant, and not make you fell worse than a car dealership? These dudes. Was referred by a friend, had a terrible clog causing shitwater to overflow downstairs shower/bathroom...naturally on a Sunday, when its hardest to get a hold of a plumber without boffing you for emergency/weekend charges. They took care of it right away, very reasonable price, knowledgeable, a big relief now that I know have a dependable reliable and fair/honest plumber at my service. Alen is the man and I couldnt be happier. Can't say enough about him and the company. Took 22 years to find a plumber Im happy with but better than never. They do full services water heaters, snakes, clogs you name it. And very prompt, thank you guys, going to get lotta referrals. Check out the science fiction that came out lurking in the toilet pipes. If waited a little more would've had a full size palm tree to plant. Ninja plumber , "Sh%t's about to go down" LMFAO. Best slogan ever. read more

Our toilet was a disaster after my DIY repair. I called Ninja after hours and connected with a real person who told me that someone would call by 8 am the next day to schedule a service call. They did call and the plumber arrived by 9 am. Our plumber, Adam, showed me why our toilet was such a disaster and after we looking at the alternatives, I decided to replace the toilet. He went out scouting for a new Kohler toilet for us and with some persereverance he finally found one. Adam kept us informed all the way through the installation and did a perfect job with the new install. He even addressed a low water pressure issue in the bathroom sink. From now on I'm calling Ninja ... and asking for Adam! read more

I am having the best experience with Ninja Plumber! They answered my call immediately and had one of their technicians out for a consult within 48 hours for a job that was to take place in 2 weeks. Geovanni, the technician, assessed the job and had an estimate sent to me the same day! I had other plumbers come out and they either rescheduled a few times at the last minute or took days getting me an estimate if they got one out to me at all. Geovanni knows his stuff and goes above and beyond to get the job done! His price is super competitive so its really a no brainer to hire this guy! If you want a plumbing technician who is knowledgable, a great problem solver, kind and courteous and efficient then Geovanni is your guy. I highly recommend hiring him... you will not be disappointed! read more

This is a late review on my part. Happy holidays to everyone. In October of 2023, Adam Alvarez from Ninja Plumber came out to my rental property regarding a non-functioning toilet. He was, as always, very professional and polite. He was able to repair the interior mechanical parts of the toilet without me having to buy a brand new toilet at a greater cost. I highly recommend Adam. read more

I had to write a review about these great guys. I had a gas leak and they came out quickly to access. They explained the work in full detail but I still wasn't sure I would go with them because of the price. A few hours later their gas expert came out to re-acess and explained again the work and price. He did indeed offer a discount so that and his sincerity sold me! I have to say they earned every penny. The work was done great. And when they were done, I couldn't even tell that they were there! It was cleaned up beautifully. I was talking to my neighbors about how they recommended them too!!!! Good job Ninjas! read more

DON'T USE!!! SUCH A WASTE OF TIME!!! NO CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR TIME!!! I called Ninja Plumbers this morning because we had a backup that was slowly draining out of our clean out at the side of the house. They hydro jetted it 15 days ago and it needs it again! Arthur came out at 11:00 a.m. to inspect the problem. He told me that he had a doctor appt for his 3 month old so he could return between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m to scope and hydro jet (again). He was very nice and I had no problem with him coming back b/c he needed to pick up the trailer with the hydro jet anyway. Then, about 45 min after Arthur was due to return, I start reading their reviews and see that they often tell people they are coming and then call them last minute to say they are no longer coming! I called the office asking for his ETA and they had him call me. He said he was sorry and he'd be over in about an hour, which is now 5 p.m. (2 hrs. later than he originally said). Then I receive a call from him saying HE'S NOT COMING AT ALL. He said their hydro jet machine was broken and no one bothered telling him. I told him that he knew since 11 a.m. he was going to need the hydro jet machine and he nor anyone in his office bothered to make sure it was working? That is poor planning and customer service! I took the day off of work and would have much rather spent my day off taking my kids somewhere fun than spending the day being strung along by plumbers. What a waste of my sick day (which I don't get many)! They also charge almost $300 MORE (for hydro jetting) than every other plumbers I have called!!! read more

I called Ninja Plumber to re-do a brass P-trap for 2 bar sinks originally built in the 1950s. Given the old set-up this was a tricky installation. These guys have always been fantastic to work with. We've used them as an HOA for building plumbing problems (usually leaks), and also in our individual unit. Recently, Jonathan and Joshua came out to fix our toilet, which was running in between uses -- it would just start running, mid-day, and then stop. The boys came out, detected the problem, presented a fair price but definitely more involved fix than I expected, and got the job done. In fact, when the problem started up again only days later, Jonathan immediately returned with very little notice to make a few adjustments to his and Joshua's work, no hassle, no complaint, just happy to help us have it done right. Thanks guys! A few months earlier, Albert was sent out to fix our kitchen sink, which was just a mess. The actual faucet was broken and the disposal was spitting things back up in the other sink. He presented options for parts to replace our old faucent, returned the very next day (nice availability with these guys!), and completely overhauled our kitchen sink with a beautiful new faucet. The disposal was also fixed. And here's the kicker -- in what I thought would be a couple hours of work, Albert was done in like :30-:40 minutes. I couldn't believe it. Really nice young man as well. All the guys are. And thank you for always being willing to come down to Santa Monica from the Valley, Ninja crew!! -- Todd read more

I have used this company multiple times for our rooter service. The guys that come out are very friendly, and thorough. They are a local company, and I definitely like to support local businesses. They offer a free camera diagnostic, and they even hydrojet (Which I have not done yet). read more

I have used these guys in the past, in fact we use them every two months or so, I believe their prices are a bit higher than what others may charge, but they do get the job done. There was a particular instance recently where they were unable to clear a drain, they sent a second person backed out the next day at no charge to take care of it. I appreciate this level of service read more

JONATHAN IS AMAZING! Came out on a Sunday to fix a semi-diagnosed(or so we thought) issue! Garbage disposal leaking ruining the apartment below me (NIGHTMARE!). He picked up a new one and installed it and identified another issue. I'm tight on budget and he negotiated with his boss to get the job completed and please me with a discount! Snaked the line which caused the clogged in the drain pipe and now everything seems to be ok!!! He worked very hard for 5 hours and couldn't have been nicer, respectful, or cleaner! He even vacuumed and cleaned the area. Thanks for everything! read more

Had this company come to my house and address my Pumbling problems. However all they did was replace my toilet and then tell them they couldn't do the job because of a pipe issue under the house. they would of charged me $3000 to supposedly fix the problem And try to charge me $225 to put the toilet seat back. They left my tub a mess. I called another Pumbling company and they finished the job for under $100. They did the job in under 30 minutes The manager had called me back to charge me a service fee of $89. This company tried to rip me off. I shouldn't have to pay anything. They are trying to take advantage of me. read more

Our shower has always had problems with being too hot or too cold but we learned to live with it. Then our dishwasher wouldn't drain properly so I reached out to Ninja Plumbers. Ahmad came out the same day and he was very knowledgeable and provided a reasonable quote. We ended up getting more work done than we initially wanted a quote for but they were all problems we had previously noticed. Took a day and a half but everything works and we're very happy! 5 years ago they replaced nearly 60' of sewage line. They stopped at the last ~4' of clay just before the mainline, now that is broken. Now I'm being quoted $6,000-9,000 to open it back up. Yes, they did exactly what they quoted me, but why not replace the whole line??? Now we have to open it back up and of course, give them more money. Not looking out for their customers and they are EXPENSIVE. read more

Called to schedule a clogged toilet. Was quoted 129.99 to come out and diagnose the clogged toilet (next to the main)...and that the 129.99 would be applied to the bill. I told him that it needed to be snaked and was clogged due to too much toilet paper and what could be the pricing range for that - the phone operator said he had no idea what his company charges- he only takes appointments- and couldn't even give me a ball park. So I wasn't willing to loose 129.99 and get scammed with a bait and switch situation- as I just read other reviews that they came out and pushed and up sell when on the property. Im calling a national company now instead of people who can't even give you a range on pricing. An employee who answers the phone should know rates. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE! We contacted Ninja Plumber on several occasions in regards to a faucet that was installed in our home on 5/26/21. The total cost was $692.00. one of the most professional and trust worthy companies in this field. I would recommend them highly.

Very disappointed. This is an example of someone trying to take advantage of people. I had a gas water heater that wasn't venting because the vent was joined with the furnace and it wasn't letting the water heater vent properly. I got a quote for $8,500 to have them add an additional pipe, I had to find and pay a roofer to add the roof vent, and I would have to pay even more to have the water heater turned back on. It was going to cost me over $10,000 total. Ripoff! I had a brand new, larger capacity heater installed by someone else, he added one with a power vent, didn't need new piping, didn't need additional roofing work. It cost me $2,000. read more

Normally I do not write Yelp reviews; however my experience with Ninja plumbers was so rewarding that I decided to post this review. I called them at 3 PM for a simple job of replacing my shutoff spigot that was leaking. Normally I am a do it yourself type of guy, but I realized that what I thought was a simple job turned out to require the services of a plumber. Within an hour Ninja sent Adam to help me out.
