Avoid Nineteen Restaurant in Hampstead at all costs. I called Nineteen on 2/28/2026 and made reservations for 10 On Easter 4/5/2026. When we got there we were told there was no reservation. by the manager in a very rude manner. I said I called about a month ago and the gentleman that answered took my reservation. The manager said not possible, because we only started taking reservations for Easter about a week and a half ago. I dig a little bit and find the manger lied, they started taking Easter reservations in early March, ironically close to 2/28/2026. (See below) Nineteen Restaurant at Olde Point Country Club in Hampstead, NC, began promoting reservations for their Easter Sunday Brunch (April 5, 2026) in early March 2026, with public posts highlighting the event starting around March 8, 2026. The brunch features a special menu served from 9 AM to 2 PM on April 5, 2026. Below is the response I received from them from my google review; You keep giving us a bad review for the same problem we addressed you didn't have a reservation. it's easter and it's a very busy day. This was my first time here for brunch and it did not disappoint. I had the eggs Benedict and added tomato to it. My daughter had the pancakes with bacon and strawberries. Had a strawberry basil lemonade and that was a great drink. The service was good. our waiter was attentive, but not overly attentive. We were offered refills in a timely manner, and all of our food arrived in a timely manner as well. We sat in the bar area and it was much like eating at a grill or a clubhouse rather than a fancy restaurant. The atmosphere was very casual and we really enjoyed ourselves. read more

Still, taking the dish home, it was so good, and I wished I had seconds. I plan to take my husband back there and casually dine. The server was nice, but he may have been overwhelmed by our large group. I appreciate that he was able to accommodate my requests. For a country club, I thought the setting was bright and spacious. Had lunch here on a weekday afternoon with friends. 3 of us ordered Ruebens, another ordered a BLT. Sandwiches were delicious and generous. We had a group of nine people for dinner tonight. As I am a vegan, I called ahead to make sure they had something vegan. I was told there was a veggie wrap that I could get. When I ordered, I told the waitress that I was a vegan and that on the menu, the veggie wrap came with cheese , so please leave the cheese off. When I was served, my wrap came with cheese. I sent it back. Another member had ordered a large salad and was told her meal would be late as they ran out of ingredients for the salad and had someone run to the grocery store to buy more. Even she received her salad way before I got another wrap. By the time I received my correct vegan wrap, everyone in our group was done with their meal. We all ordered drinks from the drink menu. However, the wine is listed as cabernet, merlot, etc. with no mention of which winery made them. When we asked, they didn't know. We ordered water with our cocktails, and the water had such a strong chlorine taste, it was not drinkable. When the bill came, I was charged for fruit (with my veggie wrap), which I did not order or receive. The wrap charged on my bill was $1 more than the price listed on the menu. I asked to have the fruit taken off, so the waitress took my ticket back to correct. Everyone else paid and waited with me for about 15 minutes and finally left when I had still not received my bill. I was told that they were so busy in the kitchen, they couldn't correct the bill yet. What? The waitress obviously cannot correct a ticket. When I finally received the bill again, I was told they could not take the $1 charge off for the fruit but they credited me $1 so it balanced out. Again, what? Had I known it would take 20 minutes to correct the bill, I would have paid for the fruit I didn't order or receive!! I would not recommend this restaurant until they get their act together and improve communication, organization and management. read more

If you're wondering why this restaurant has so many negative reviews regarding service, it's bc Servers don't have sections/stations. They rotate tables between Servers which unfortunately affects the guests. You're also expected to learn 3 menus and POS (computer) in 2 shifts. They have way too many ppl staffed vs patrons. I also don't know why I wasn't sent a final check upon request. It's NC state law if an employee requests their check be mailed the employer is required to do so. After weeks of not receiving anything was given an excuse by management of being busy and that I had to come in and pick it up. Interesting enough I didn't receive a check or paystub but an envelope full of cash for hours worked. Only positive thing worth mentioning is the price point. It's extremely affordable. read more

We stopped in here to kill some time before our tee time. I had a hot dog with chili, mustard and onions. The hot dog was good. It tasted like it had been grilled. My hot dog bun immediately fell apart so I had to eat it with a fork. I probably looked like a psycho but there only us and two other parties in the restaurant. The chili tasted really salty. I'm sensitive to salt so it could be fine for other people. The house made chips were good but salty as well. They were served with ranch for dipping and they had the good ranch if you know what I mean. My husband had a burger and fries and they were typical. Didn't blow him away but they were fine. The menu looked interesting. They had a lot of sandwiches for lunch and their dinner menu looked more fancy. The bar looked nice. I will go again when we go golfing but I don't think I will go out of my way to return. read more

Have been here a few times. It never disappoints. The service is excellent. All of the staff are friendly and attentive. Drinks and food arrive quickly. The menu has enough different options to satisfy everyone, from sandwiches to burgers to meals to daily specials. Each time we have gone, we have been 10 people and everyone loved their meals. I highly recommend the mussels fra diavolo appetizer. The sausage arrabiata was excellent, as were many other entrees. They also have the best bread around, which was excellent to dunk in the musss sauce. read more

My first visit, I was at the bar enjoying lunch and found out from the bartender that the owner was just two seats away from me. I though oh how nice. The owner looked at me, and I'm a professional dressed woman and ignored me. The bartender even rolled his eyes as he looked at me, as though he knew that this is her typical cold behavior. Such a shame, because huge loss of opportunity. As a newbie in the area with quite a big following and family members who golf when they visit, such a loss for the business. First... "greeted " by an eye-rolling rude young lady who was more interested in her personal phone call than seating our party. My wife called earlier that day to make a reservation for the 5 of us. She informed us that NO reservation was recorded. Next, I requested the manager and he was clearly less than interested in speaking with us. When he finally made his way to me, he rudely insisted that we didn't need a reservation but we were unable to order the special of the night.( not even what I was concerned about.) My wife confirmed that he said he would write down our reservation, which he did not. No apologies offered Moving on...... our server was quite pleasant---but, extremely slow. we observed several tables that were seated after us that were served their food long before we were. Finally Ordered our food, and I specifically requested that my appetizer come out before the entrées. Food took over 35 minutes to be delivered to the table,with numerous requests to please serve our meal. After 3 baskets of bread, our food finally arrived . Five minutes after our entrées arrived they bring out the appetizer. Extremely frustrating. Once again, no apology offered. We will probably not return to this establishment nor will we recommend to family,friends and business associates. I understand that everyone has an off day, but when no attempt to explain or apologize is made, that is just extremely poor management. read more

My wife and I went there for Valentine's Day. It wasn't crowded, yet we still waiting for our waiter to arrive at our table. He took our drink order, and never came back. Once we flagged someone down, service seemed to get a little bit better. I cannot tolerate onions in my food therefore I asked for no onions in my meal. However my salad came with onions on it. I guess that's my fault since I did not specify I didn't want my salad to have onions on it. After dinner we waited forever for the check. After the check arrived I quickly gave him my credit card, when the waiter finally came back to the table my credit card had paid for someone else's meal.
