Little shop, looks like a lot of locals frequent this place. Has to be a good option right? We got a grilled cheese with chips, ham, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel, the speciality turkey on an everything bagel, sides of potato and pasta salad with a cherry cream cheese danish. Grilled cheese was a let down, as well as both the sides. My turkey specialty on an everything bagel was good, I really enjoyed it. The husband gave the ham, egg, and cheese a 4/5 and the little gave the pastry a 10. Negatives: staff doesn't clean the tables, every one was dirty so we had to clean up one ourselves. The place as a whole needs a deep clean. Electrical pipes have a good amount of caked on dust accumulated on it. read more

From the food to the service, this place was awesome! Came here on a weekday morning on my birthday, as my bud and I were on our way to play some golf. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and patient while I created a breakfast bagel. The outcome was a delicious Egg & Lox bagel that was quite possibly the best I've ever had. I didn't get to sit inside but ordered to go first time this morning. They were busy around 10:00am yet had a lot of staff to help and not to mention the staff had the best smiling faces and kind and helpful all while being busy. Came here on a Sunday around 11:30 am. Parking was easy in front. A cute little bagel shop! There is some seating inside and a bench and a table outside. There is also a drive through which is handy. There was about a 10-15 minute wait to order. Many different types of bagels and bagel sandwiches available. I really wanted an asiago bagel but they ran out before I was able to order. I ordered the lox bagel on a garlic bagel. It was very filling! Lox and capers were good and it came with a pickle. Bagel tasted very fresh and was fluffy. A fine price ~$14 for the sandwich. So - those who know me on Yelp know I'm a bit of a crazy bagel connoisseur. On my recent trip to NC, I found this place near my rental and I was impressed, for real. I went three times over the course of the week. They had a large, rotating selection of daily bagels in unique flavors (sundried tomato! spinach! cranberry orange!) which is SUCH a welcome change from what most shops do (stick to plain, egg, everything). Not only that, but their prices are *insanely* cheap in comparison to other fancy bagel shops I've visited. On my first visit I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an egg bagel which is my go to for any bagel shop's first visit. The bagel was chewy and perfect. I got to customize my egg and cheese. What more could you ask for?! In terms of size, these are smaller, traditional NY/Maine style bagels, which as long as they are done right are fantastic. And they are done right here. The second and third visits I got different versions of the BEC and they were just as tasty. I also picked up a dozen to bring home and freeze, and I can attest that they hold up really well. I'm thawing a sundried tomato one now for a homemade sandwich for breakfast. In addition to the general yumminess, the staff was friendly and quick. I went into the shop each time to place my order and pick up, but they also have a drive thru which is really cool! I don't know of any other bagel place in NC or VA that I've been to with a drive thru! Overall, I give this place the highest marks. Being from New York, I never really expected to find any good bagels in North Carolina. Well, I was proven wrong. Don't get me wrong, nothing beats a bagel from NY but this definitely comes closer than other places I have tried here. Been a few times but I recommend getting an everything bagel toasted with the cream cheese of your choice. The egg sandwich was extremely good, I ALMOST felt like I was back at home. The vibe is so small town, the staff are always friendly and relaxed, the customers are always having nice small talk that's perfect to have as white noise. But let me tell you what REALLY matters... THE BAGELS We got 3 Bagels, Sun dried tomato (yum), garlic (delicious), and chocolate chip (amazing). The sun dried was very nice, smells off but the taste was FANTASTIC!! A little cream cheese and it was perfect . The garlic bagel is definitely for a certain crowd, but if you love garlic you will LOVE IT!! It has that spicy taste that only too much garlic has, GET IT IF YOU LOVE GARLIC!! Then finally, the chocolate chip bagel. Amazing, every time I get chocolate chip bagels from anywhere else, the amount of chocolate chips are always overwhelming, but they use the most PERFECT AMOUNT. Not too many, not too little, but perfect They also sell their old bagels (a day old ) for $4 for 15 BAGELS!! SO I BOUGHT TWO BAGS!! As always, it's a pleasure to be able to pull through the drive-thru and today after being waited on by an exceptionally attentive gentleman, I inquired as to what his name was... I was told that it was Savon, the owner. I didn't recognize him but he's just as kind and humble as ever. He's kept this bakery top-notch for years now and there he is hanging out the window. I asked if he wanted me to drive around as I hadn't called in my order and he replied that they'd already taken the orders of the 2 cars behind me. The Everything bagel was perfect and the bacon, egg, and cheese on the Everything was as well. You can tell that everyone is digging their job and tasks because of their smiles! Everything bagels are an important part of my life and when we first moved to the area I was very excited to check out this place. They have a very large selection of bagels in general but the everything, onion, and garlic are my favorite. They are loaded with the goods! Additionally they have a good selection of in house made spreads. The vegetable cream cheese is amazing and the strawberry is loaded with actual strawberries. The one downside is they do not have many choices in regards to coffee. It is pretty simple. I have not tried their sandwiches yet, mainly because the bagels are flavorful enough on their own! read more

The bagels here are delicious! This little bagel shop is tucked away in a shopping complex on 17 in Hampstead. We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and it was packed. The fresh bagels are on display and we got a half dozen to take back to Raleigh. It is hard to find fresh bagels and the flavor and price of these really taste like NY. I loved the everything bagel and also the poppy seed. My niece loved the blueberry bagel. You can order sandwiches on bagels or croissants or bread. For lunch, I had the tuna salad on rye toast and it was one of the best tuna sandwiches I have had. My mom had the roast beef on a bagel and loved it. They serve Boar's head lunchmeat and it is cut fresh. My brother had a lox bagel with cream cheese and capers and said it was delicious.
