Yet, the ambience inside has a cozy and inviting home presence with a comfortable leather couch, festive home decor & furniture, and friendly staff. Jesalyn, our server, was very amicable, calm, professional, and recommended the Winter Wonderland seasonal coffee with chocolate & hazelnut flavors. We both ordered it and spent about two hours there. Service was efficient yet peaceful even when there was a flow of traffic after we were served. Time flew fast there and yet the environment always maintained a sense of serenity despite the flow of people coming in the coffeehouse. There are different vendors with many items to select for purchase from art to accessories. The colorful bags with the smiley faces promoting mental health awareness caught my eye at one of the vendor areas there. I love that the coffeehouse is veteran owned, decorated for Christmas, and has an eclectic mix of handmade items and local art pieces. This is definitely a local business & coffeehouse to visit again in the future.

The seasonal coffee with chocolate undertones was a delight and was what I needed from such a long drive. We spent over two hours here taking photos and seeing family. I came earlier this evening to get a coffee, which was a Dubai Chocolate mocha. When I walked in it was dead. There was no one in the drive thru, and one family waiting for drinks inside. I ordered my drink at 5:03 and received it at 5:19 ( I ordered through the app and my wait time said it would take 6 mins). I would've been fine with the wait given if the shop was busy but it was not. The family that was in shop reduced there things and my drink was till not being made, I had to go up and ask about my drink for it to be made (it would maybe sit there another 5 mins before being touched). I then get my drink, but my drink is incorrect. I had an appointment that I was gonna be late for if I stayed, so there was no time to ask for them to redo my drink. I'm just disappointed. Especially with how dead it was, the least they could do is get my order right if it took that long.

This place is extremely popular, and I've visited multiple times before, including their coffee…read moreshops. A majority of the staff were welcoming, but when we first arrived, no one acknowledged or greeted us for about five minutes while we waited to be seated. Mind you, there was a line so acknowledging our presence would have been appreciated. There were also quite a few dirty tables that had not been cleared, which seemed to delay seating for everyone. I'm not entirely sure how their first-come, first-served policy works, but when it was our turn as a party of two, we were told the wait would be another 30 minutes. I had pointed at a table that people were sitting at and were boxing food and I asked if this table was available. She said no because that table was a table for four. I've actually been here with my husband and sat at said table of four. The party of four behind us was seated immediately, at that table. I completely understand that larger tables are often reserved for bigger groups, especially during busy hours, but it became frustrating when we ended up waiting over an hour for our food. The table seated after us had already eaten, paid and left before we even received our meals. There were also several careless mistakes throughout the experience. My cup arrived with lipstick stains and smudges on it. They did apologize and replace it immediately, which I appreciated. A dishwasher not washing a lipstick stain is not really in their control, but it is in their control to serve me a dirty glass. When my food arrived, it was completely covered in sesame seeds to the point that it looked excessive and unintentional. My husband actually watched the girl, who was the one in charge I guess of filling sauce and grabbing dishes from the kitchen, dump the sesame seeds onto the plate, and even our waiter, who was not the person handling the dish, agreed that it looked drenched in them. They corrected the issue for us, but for a meal that cost over $100 (including tip, for a table of 2) without alcohol, I expected more attention to detail. They were all really understanding of the issues and corrected them. On top of that, someone who was not our server added two extra drinks to our bill when we were paying. That was $11 on our bill. Again, mistakes happen, especially in busy restaurants, but after multiple issues throughout the meal, it started to feel careless rather than accidental. I do appreciate that staff tried to fix the problems when we brought them up, but I wish there had been more mindfulness and attention to detail overall.
