    Finished coffee outside
    Barrett E.

Casa Blanca is one of those rare gems that's just consistently awesome. I almost always go for the bacon egg sandwich with garlic aioli simple, but absolutely packed with flavor. Honestly though, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The coffee's great, the food's fresh, and the staff is always welcoming. It's become a go-to spot for our family our weekend ritual and a place we bring out-of-town friends who always end up raving about it. In fact, we have friends from Raleigh who go out of their way to stop here, even if they're staying at the beach. That says a lot. The atmosphere and vibe are just right relaxed, stylish, and warm. Yes, you might pay a touch more than your average coffee spot, but it's 100% worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommend. This place is special.

Iced coffee and chocolate chip cookie!

A great little spot with cozy inside seating and a great patio with a fire pit and seats to enjoy the sun. The service was fantastic. We were immediately greeted when we walked in. They have a great coffee menu as well as food items. I got the iced coffee and a fantastic chocolate chip cookie to go with it. Our coffees were delivered to us outside when they were ready. Everything was so good. I recommend this place and I will be back!

Both sandwiches we got were tasty, the back patio is adorable and so right for drinking your beverage of choice and relaxing. I got a vanilla matcha latte with cinnamon and enjoyed every sip.

Big coffee shop guy. The unique asthetics, the smells, the vibes, the coffee itself. This place had it all plus free wifi! I mean cmon!? What more do you want? Oh free water cups? Yeah, they had it, too! And service with a smile. Great place to hang out for awhile and get some work done or have great conversation.

The hot chai tea was good. I really liked all the seating available inside and outside, this is hard to come by with coffee establishments.

Been here a couple of times and find it very aesthetically pleasing. The workers are friends and my drinks always come out within a reasonable time frame. Would only say that the seating seems a little confined and I often felt like I was intruding in on other customers work spaces, which made having conversations with friends a little awkward. I got the Turkey Tiro Sandwich and it was really good, do wish they put just a little bit more whipped feta on it. Overall this place was pretty neat.

Casa Blanca is home to a refreshing space, great coffee, and a restful ambience! Over the summer, my friends and I were able to try this spot for the first time and we were thoroughly impressed. ‣ QUALITY - While I love me some delicious scones, the one I had was too hard to finish; however, the flavor was spot-on and super tasty. As for the drinks, they were well-balanced and expertly-crafted. I ordered a chai latté which served as the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. All good ratings from my friends as well. ‣ AMBIENCE - 10/10 aesthetics. Aside from being incredibly photogenic -- inside and outside -- the atmosphere was light and soothing. Every nook and cranny of this coffeeshop was neutral, organized, and minimalistic. From the stylish serving plates to the interior décor and cute shop items, it was both pleasant and beautiful to see. We dined outside where there were string lights swaying lightly along the breeze with clean tables and seating in front of trees to set the scene. ‣ SERVICE - Quick and professional -- all smiles, here! Overall such a beautiful place offering a lovely experience for good coffee + company. I would love to visit again someday to try the highly rated food and lattés!

Seriously one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever been to while traveling. The coffee was amazing, and the staff was extremely nice. The inside is decorated and designed super well. If you're looking for a good coffee shop in Wilmington this is definitely my number choice. There's currently some construction in the area but it didn't affect parking or access! They also have really cute mugs and other items you can purchase!

Awesome with delicious awesome sauce! We passed by this place for over a year when first moving here; our loss entirely!! It's now our go-to at least once per week for a delightful coffee & breakfast. They have simple but delusions breakfast items, a vegan grits bowl that's amazing, a bacon & egg sandwich that's melt-in-your-mouth fabulous, a customizable breakfast burrito - and more. Freaking phenomenal pastries (baked on site & most are vegan, although you'd never know they were vegan!). The coffee is wonderful, beans roasted HERE! Huge outdoor area seating & fire pit. Indoor seating is a little tight, but you can always get stuff to go. Yum yum & YUM!!!

very cute coffee shop. i love their outdoor seating in the back. tried a chai latte and although it was nothing special, it wasn't bad either.

    Banana bread!

WOW - Everything here is AMAZING!!! At first glance I thought this place was a coffee roaster/seller. They definitely sell the coffee they roast for grinding and brewing at home. But they are also a full service cafe. We came for breakfast the last day of our vacation. I ordered an iced oat milk latte, and my husband had a "regular" hot latte (made with whole milk). We each had a scone - a savory rosemary and caramelized onion for me, and a blueberry scone for him. I couldn't believe the rosemary caramelized onion scone was vegan!!! It was so amazingly buttery and delicious. For entrees I had loaded avocado toast, and my husband ordered the banana bread. The avocado toast is so bright, spicy, and fresh with the heirloom tomatoes and all the spices. The banana bread is a work of art covered in espresso mascarpone, honey, walnuts, and ripe banana slices. I went back for some regular batch coffee (drip coffee), and even that is sweet and nutty. It's not bitter at all. I wish I had room to eat more of their delicious food. They have creative smoothies, fresh grapefruit juice, loose leaf teas, and tons of fresh pastries. There are so many vegan and vegetarian food options here - including the pastries! We will be back as soon as we return to Wilmington. This place is truly a gem. It's such a low waste, sustainable business, very welcoming, and an extremely peaceful place to work, relax, or socialize.

I love myself a good cup of Joe. Bored on a Saturday? Let's go grab a coffee somewhere new! I often can be found dragging my husband around to all the coffee shops I haven't stepped foot into yet. Although usually once he's a few sips in he's thanking me for bringing him along. Casa Blanca happened to be on the way to our destination for the day so we stopped in! The vibes inside were impeccable. The inside is so cozy & aesthetic- I could have chilled out here for a few hours if we didn't have somewhere else to be. The drink menu is abundant with choices that involve caffeine or no caffeine. And added bonus is that they also serve food- it all looked mighty tasty coming out of the kitchen. The staff was friendly, our order was done quickly and both of our beverages tasted amazing! I got a caramel latte with almond milk & my husband went with a dirty chai! We will be back to explore some more for sure.

The chocolate shavings on top really put it over the edge for me and made it extra tasty. The girl behind the counter was so sweet and helpful as well, and had our drinks out pretty quickly. The inside is very cute and has a decent amount of seating. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time!

Maven takes a different approach to coffee, skipping the standard heavy syrup you find in most places and instead focusing on carefully crafted pieces of art. I would describe their style as a hybrid between the craftsmanship of fine dining, the flavor blending of craft cocktails, all wrapped up in an artistic display. The people working here are skilled and very friendly and happy to explain their menu My wife had the campfire latte, which was a gentle s'mores flavor with freshly crumbled graham cracker topping in a marshmallow they toasted right in front of you as a top. Most importantly, it was very coffee forward on flavor with very minimal but appropriate use of sweetening flavors. I had the chocolate cherry truffle latte, which was again very coffee forward with very subtle and perfectly balanced flavors. Most interestingly, the drinks were a very fair price, because with this level of artistry in presentation you'd expect it to be expensive. This was a great little stop on vacation, and if I was local I would come more often. They are definitely stepping out of the mold of the traditional mainstream coffee shop, And doing a great job.
