It's become a go-to spot for our family our weekend ritual and a place we bring out-of-town friends who always end up raving about it. WOW - Everything here is AMAZING!!! At first glance I thought this place was a coffee roaster/seller. They definitely sell the coffee they roast for grinding and brewing at home. But they are also a full service cafe. We came for breakfast the last day of our vacation. I ordered an iced oat milk latte, and my husband had a "regular" hot latte (made with whole milk). We each had a scone - a savory rosemary and caramelized onion for me, and a blueberry scone for him. I couldn't believe the rosemary caramelized onion scone was vegan!!! It was so amazingly buttery and delicious. For entrees I had loaded avocado toast, and my husband ordered the banana bread. The avocado toast is so bright, spicy, and fresh with the heirloom tomatoes and all the spices. The banana bread is a work of art covered in espresso mascarpone, honey, walnuts, and ripe banana slices. I went back for some regular batch coffee (drip coffee), and even that is sweet and nutty. It's not bitter at all. I wish I had room to eat more of their delicious food. They have creative smoothies, fresh grapefruit juice, loose leaf teas, and tons of fresh pastries. There are so many vegan and vegetarian food options here - including the pastries! We will be back as soon as we return to Wilmington. This place is truly a gem. Been here a couple of times and find it very aesthetically pleasing. The workers are friends and my drinks always come out within a reasonable time frame. Would only say that the seating seems a little confined and I often felt like I was intruding in on other customers work spaces, which made having conversations with friends a little awkward. I had my first visit a couple of months back and it was a to-go order so I wanted to pay another visit before I would write a review. My first visit was very pleasant, but the same can't be said for my latest visit. The person at the counter was unlike the other employee I had dealt with before. This employee was unknowledgeable about the menu and the products. His manner was cold and flat. I think he resented me asking questions because he did not know the answers. I settled on ordering a pastry and was about to pay but when I asked for my military discount. He said they did not have one and proposed that may have been the case 2 years ago. I told him I had received a discount and it was only a couple of months ago. I also told him I did not appreciate being called a liar. He then mocked me by asking "Is that ok"? I responded by turning on my heel and left without purchasing anything and he continued to mock me by saying "Have a nice day"! When the movie Casablanca ended Rick said the famous final line, "Louis, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." The parking lot is usually full but we have never had a problem finding a spot. The inside is large and spacious with plenty of seating there is also an outdoor area in the back with additional seating. We ordered the lavender latte and a vanilla latte which were good the flavors were not overpowering so you can still taste the espresso. The only critique is that the espresso could be stronger. Their breakfast burritos are a must buy if you are hungry they are very good. The staff is always inviting. read more

Avocado toast was the perfect mix of creamy savory avocado, topped with tart and tangy tomatoes and pickled red onions. All of that piles on a thick slice of toast with crusty edges and a soft texture when you bite into it! Maple pork belly bowl was good. Grits still have some grit to them if you know what I mean. Super flavorful pork belly was heavenly, and how can you go wrong with a perfectly cooked sunny side egg? We walked from the KOA campground on a little trail. They also have lots of parking. Dining area outside had some shade and some sun, picnic tables and cafe tables. Looks dog friendly outside. Indoor dining had several different seating types as well, great for solo diners, couples and groups. Several locals had their laptops out and we spotted a few electric outlets. We stopped in today as we were in town. Very glad we did. The place is right as you come into Wilmington from Hampstead and it's a local business so we ventured inside. So bright and clean inside. Lots of areas to sip a beverage and sit or bring laptop and work in a quiet space. There was a good many people there today on computers . The staff was very helpful and asked if we wanted for here or to go.. we decided to stay and sip our mochas.. mine was pumpkin spice mocha.. it was delicious!! Nice level of creamy goodness on top .. just what I wanted.. comfortable sitting areas and there's even an outdoor area with fire pit!
