Adorable pink decor and great energy. Ordering was a breeze. They have a menu of specialty drinks, but went with a lavender oat milk latte. It was delish, but probably could have been just a little bit stronger. That's a matter of personal preference. Also, the barista brought us out the drinks instead of shouting across the space, which was super considerate. It is a small interior, but there is a lot of variation in the types of tables and seating. It's so much more cozy than a big chain and everything being pink gives it a very feminine and comfortable energy. I would be a happy camper posting up with my laptop and clickity-clacking all day. Location: off busy road but in a private/shared parking lot with rest of the plaza. Limited spots near the actual shop but others are in a strip attached and around the corner to same building which is close enough. Outdoor picnic table and two tables with chairs. It's under an awning which helps with weather and sun. It's not quiet outside as car wash next door and busy road out front but it's an outdoor space without any store fronts in its view due to location of the store front on the strip with room to hang out. Entrance area is separated from the back seating area which I kind of liked to be honest! It felt like an entry for both the "to stay" and "to go parties" to maneuver and allowed for privacy for getting together inside in back. Vibe: Very cute decorated building with some Instagram/SM walls outside and inside. Love the large room in the back with various seating and it's definitely spacious. Moms can have strollers table side too. It's roomy for larger groups but I'm unsure if they can acclimate extra chairs. You'd need to call ahead if you have a part of friends over 5-6 people joining you there. There is music playing but not very loud. Various types of seating and appeared clean. Drinks: I had the iced Soul-less with whip top. Very good. Nice cup of coffee! No need to add any more sugar. Perfect sweetness level and it was good enough that I drank without a break lol. Definitely worth trying with the unique recipe. (See other photos that post menu with the ingredients) my son had a caramel iced decaf latte. He said it was good. Nothing crazy with it since it was regular milk syrup etc. i love the concept that all the lattes have a pink milk lol. Very catchy and as far as no caffeine frozen- they do not make frappe drinks. They offer a variety of coffee flavors and have their standard regular drinks. I like that you can do add one and they have keto and nondairy monster versions of their drinks which is neat option. Food: not much of a variety. They had coffee cake muffins, a few bagels with both cream cheese and butter side options. A few veggie wagon snacks (I tried and loved the power bites-def worth trying) they toasted the bagel which was great. I could appreciate that! The muffin tasted like your standard Costco type muffins and did have that taste to them as if from packaging but nonetheless my son said it was fine. I do wish they had more variety but the store front doesn't appear big enough to accommodate that. The coffee is well worth the visit. Staff: VERY NICE! There was only one young man working when I went by and he was super helpful and recommended options. Very quick to make the drinks and package up. Very informative and helpful about the food (my son has allergies) and packed everything perfectly. The only downside was the carry out materials were little weak so it was difficult to use. They should probably double up on the carriers to avoid drinks falling (mine fell slightly while walking but I "rescued" it enough to enjoy a great cup of coffee :) Other: they do sell merch and stickers etc. including natural powder to add to coffee etc. a little pricey vs what I've seen but they look to be also better quality vs what I've seen as well. In summary, I'll definitely be back and curious to try some of their other original drink options. I also like that they seem to have specials too and todays was a cherry coke cold brew! Sounds interesting and def would bring some ENERGY to someone on this rainy weekend. UPDATE: I did go back. THE NEXT DAY for the soul less on ice. It's SO good. The Kween drink was a 5/5 for sure. Perfect taste and texture as well! The Royal had a nice cinnamon flavor, but it was a bit grainy and powdery in texture. Still a good flavor, though! I looooove this coffee shop!!! It's my favorite in all of wilmington. I haven't tried all the options, but all the coffees I've ordered have been delicious so far. I always take my friends here when they come visit, and they agree. It's beautifully decorated and so nice inside. Staff has always been friendly. It cost about the same as Starbucks, maybe a little more, except you get to support a local business and the quality is better, and the drinks are more consistent, so I can't complain. I wanted to change from my normal coffeehouse. On my way to work and this place is equally as convenient. I really enjoyed the good vibes. This place gives off and of course the Instagram where the photo booths around the coffee shop seating area. There was one worker working, and he was very fast and efficient and offered recommendations. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and coffee came out quickly. Pretty in pink dreams!! Aside from Instagram worthy aesthetic I was most pleased with the service Spill offered. My cousins and I ordered the "soul-less" it was pink and delicious. It tasted a little like mocha but not to sweet. They asked for extra sweetener after we got our order and the employees at spill were kind enough to add it. The service was amazing and the coffee with oat milk was just what we needed on our drive back. The most instagrammable coffee shop in Wilmington. A "pink and eclectic" vibe. They specialize in healthy coffees and have a really unique selection. I ordered the "Soul-less" coffee and it was interesting but delicious. They also have a selection of bagels and pastries that are equally as delightful. I loved that they had other items on display for sale on the bookshelves when you walk inside. They appeared to be from other private local vendors. The sitting area is spacious and super trendy. The worst coffee I've ever had BY FAR. When I walked into this "coffee" shop, my instincts told me to walk out. What's the first thing you smell when you walk into a coffee shop? COFFEE! There was no smell of coffee, which was foreshadowed the quality of the drinks that we received. The normal, hot coffee tasted like water. This wasn't just weak coffee. It tasted like tap water someone used to clean the coffee pot. By a mile, this was the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. The other cold coffee drink I purchased also managed to taste like water. AND I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. How could you manage that? $6.50 for an extremely poorly-made drink. The person that ordered it said that it was the worst coffee drink they have ever had. The only redeeming thing about this place is the decor may seem charming. To me, it was just a compensation for the garbage that they are serving. After I drank some of the coffee that I bought, I went to Starbucks and purchased a coffee that actually satisfied my coffee fix. Normally, I would prefer to support a local business, but I cannot when the product served is so poor. Starbucks coffee is not great, but it was miles better than what I received from "Spillt" coffee. For the same $2.50 you spend at Spilt, you can get what you see from Starbucks in the picture I have added. I don't normally post reviews unless what i received was amazing or horrible. This was the worst coffee I've ever had. Both drinks were the worst drinks I have ever purchased from a business. I am shocked that a business owner allowed this to be served. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I used to come here a lot. The last 4 times have not been good. These girls have the potential to have the best place in town. It's super cute. I used to get phenomenal service. It felt welcoming. Now I feel like I am an inconvenience or I'm interrupting a personal conversation. They may have been having with each other. No one says welcome in no one says thank you for coming in. Next, the coffee. The coffee used to be amazing. I usually get the weeded. It was super creamy. It was frothy. You could taste the variations of flavors with the ingredients and now I feel like I'm getting a cup of Keurig coffee at home. I don't think I will be coming back and I'm going to miss that because I look forward to my spill coffee every single time come on girls get it together you have a gold mine there. Every person that comes into your store should feel greeted, should feel welcomed and they should be thanked for coming in. Those are just basic customer service qualities. I wanted to try a new coffee shop today. I ended up trying Spill. I had been to the building years ago for another coffee shop but that apparently left. The girls who run their shop have added walls and decorated it completely differently and the menu isn't your standard coffee shop menu. In fact I wasn't even sure if I could get regular coffee there. They have lots of healthy drinks, organic things and words I've never even seen before. I am always a little worried my stomach won't be happy if I try some of the healthier things, I have a tricky stomach. So I wanted to know if they had regular coffee, and luckily they did. They have the ability to make some regular coffee drinks too so I opted for a cold caramel latte with almond milk. And it was great my surprise with it was it was pink. I think the girls like the color pink. I found a great comfy chair in the corner, it was perfect for my quiet time. It was a quiet place but it had a good number of people in it, and must do my surprise a dog came in. So it's dog-friendly too as it wasn't a therapy dog. I know people are always wondering if certain places are dog friendly, I would say this one looks like it is. It has a little outside seating area as well but today the weather was turning cold so everybody was inside. I definitely know I'm going to go back and I hope that the comfy chair in the corner is available. The decor is fresh and new, with a lot of pink. I've never had a bad experience at Spill and usually don't leave complaints except for this one. My friend and I ordered the same coffee and a bagel and paid separately ( My friend didn't make up her mind until she ordered and it happened to be the same order as me) and Casey rudely says "Next time you guys want the same thing tell me ahead of time so I can make it at the same time. Just so you know". Then, she makes my friends coffee terrible without the flavors and can definitely tell the difference between them since I always order this drink. Disappointing because this was my favorite coffee shop. Hope she isn't like that to other customers! read more

Will not return. I visited Spill for the first time today. I ordered a latte with almond milk, no flavors or sweetener-to go. You can imagine my surprise when I realized that for whatever reason my milk froth had been died a pink color. What the heck? As someone with food allergies who strives to avoid additives, etc., this was particularly upsetting. I am shocked that any type of food or beverage business would add something to a customer's drink without their knowledge or consent. I will also add that it didn't appear clean and my husband, who visited the restroom while waiting for our coffee, said it was filthy. If you want a place to hold a photo shoot def go to Spill but if you want to get good coffee at a reasonable price with a chill environment in Wilmington stick Bespoke and Lucky joe. This place charged me $2.60 for a small black coffee that I 100% could've made taste better if I had made it. Also I asked for it warm and the barista gave it to me burning hot #lovely. Then they charges a dollar for a refill on black coffees which the other two shops I mentioned give you for free. This place has recently came under new management and they might know what they're doing with aesthetics but not with starting a small coffee shop when the already established competitors have better business models. read more
