This was the most friendly coffee shop I have ever been to! Matt at the register was friendly, kind, and super personable! He even gave me some recommendations of places to visit in the area, and I told him I was visiting for the weekend! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good coffee and good vibes.
My wife and I are visiting from out of town and this place was high on our list of things to do since we have heard so many wonderful stories about the establishment and its mission. The experience was even better than we expected. During our first visit, we were waited on by Matt who could not have been more pleasant and helpful as he patiently waited for our group to make up their minds. After we were seated, he came over to check on us and provide recommendations for other local sites and places to visit. The coffee and pastries were excellent and reasonably priced. My wife and I loved our multiple visits here during our visit. Highly recommend!!
I was so excited to try out some new drinks and food today! I decided to go for the white chocolate mocha and the tea of the day, which was a hibiscus punch tea, along with a chicken and waffle sweet. Let me tell you, everything was absolutely scrumptious! The coffee was perfectly brewed, not too sweet at all. The hibiscus punch tea just needed a little bit of natural cane sugar syrup to make it even better. And as for the chicken and waffle, I have no idea if it was homemade, but it was seriously tasty! This coffee shop really blew my mind of how beautiful it looks inside. Had a very welcoming feel to it and the customer service was outstanding
I had never heard of Bitty & Beau's Coffee, but nearly perfect ratings made it my choice of local coffee spot to try out in Wilmington. The vibe is very industrial located adjacent to car shops and I'm pretty this place occupies space that either sold or worked on cars in the past. They have a banner boasting that they're the official coffee of The Rachael Ray Show and were selling quite a bit of merchandise from tumblers to shirts and hats. We went with a large coffee and large mocha, but were served one drink in a 12 oz cup even though both were supposed to be 16 oz. I'm thinking the cashier wasn't listening properly while I was ordering (they don't provide printed receipts, so not sure what I was charged for). Both drinks were fine, but pretty average for a coffee shop. For the Starbucks-like prices they charge, I was expecting much better, but turned out to be a pretty unmemorable experience. Perhaps I caught them on an off day given the other reviews. Given the prices and lackluster quality, I wouldn't recommend Bitty & Beau's Coffee to others, as there's much better options in Wilmington.
One of my favorite places to stop in Wilmington! The whole idea is that people that are perceived as different are extremely capable and can hold jobs. The shop is cute with lots of merchandise and a few cozy little spots to sit. They have changed the inside since I was there last; making it a little smaller but still cute. My iced coffee was good with the added flavoring. The cashier was fantastic. There was a group of employees that were having fun, singing songs and enjoying each other's company.
The coffee was fantastic and the service was quick and friendly. An extremely welcoming environment and calm ambiance, we will definitely be back!

Wow! I've been driving by this gem for a couple of years and finally stopped! Glad I did! From the service by Matt who also took the time to share his expertise about the different coffee roasts, to the smiles and greetings as I enjoyed my bagel and Americano... great coffee, great service, great atmosphere. And awesome mission! Thank you.

I've been in NC for 3 weeks now and decided to explore what Wilmington has to offer! I stumbled across Bitty & Beau's while trying to find a coffee shop to study at and it did not disappoint! They greet every customer with a warm welcome and friendly smile! While I was there for a few hours, they made sure to come up to me and check up on how I was doing. The coffee and bagel were phenomenal! I'm very particular with my coffee and it exceeded my expectations. They even write a little note on your cup, which absolutely made my day. The atmosphere is wonderful, the decor really fits the industrial vibes inside! It made my studying experience so much better! An added bonus: the mission behind the shop is one that is extremely positive and so much more worth going to. It warms my heart to know that every individual deserves a chance to be independent and to be empowered by doing so. I would 1000% recommend coming here for good coffee/food and the positive vibes!
What a great spot !! We had a very friendly greeting and they left me a special message on my cup !! I had a delicious Chai latte with a shot of espresso and it was perfect it's a very open space with lots of room to come with friends !!
The most perfect business. This place is an absolute game changer and it's definitely more than a cup of coffee. The coffee's good, but the vibe is incredible. You'll never have so much fun ordering and drinking the coffee. There are dance parties and directors of entertainment and VPs of customer greetings and it's just fun. The whole staff is so happy to be there and so engaging. I won't try to tell the whole story (google it!). I'll just say it's 100% worth the visit. It'll tug at those heart strings It can be a bit tough to find the driveway. Follow the gps and pull into the car dealership. When you've pulled in go left and it's in a big building at the end of the driveway (old hummer dealer).

I got a shirt that says "radically inclusive" and "not broken". The coffee shop is spacious, inviting, and beautifully set up. My partner got an Americano and really enjoyed it. Everyone should definitely check it out.

Such a cool place. We were kindly greeted by the front counter staff. They offered their recommendations and helped us in a quick manner. They do not take cash so make sure to bring your debit card with you. Also check out their story on their website as well. We just ordered something simple from their coffee menu but I do believe they had specialty drinks for the season. The inside was very nice and they had a ton of products you could purchase from stickers to t-shirts. read more

Bitty & Beau's Coffee is a must-stop for the Wilmington area! We never miss it on our annual trip to the beach. It's conveniently located close to many shops like Costco if you need extra fuel for your shopping trip. The drinks here are amazing - coffee and non! I especially love their chai tea latte. This summer they're featuring a frozen lemonade that is as refreshing as it sounds! Don't forget a bag of coffee beans to brew at home! And it goes without saying that the service at Bitty & Beau's is exceptional! You are always greeted with a friendly "hello" when you enter, and the employees are so helpful at making sure you get a perfect and delicious drink. Stopped by Bitty & Beau's for a coffee while visiting the area. Never heard of this place before, but it was right next to my hotel and what a wonderful place to find! The folks that worked there were all genuine and kind, and they radiated so much positivity. I hope they know they all brightened my day today. When it comes to the coffee, it was incredibly delicious! Very smooth espresso. I got the iced caramel latte with oat milk, and it was the perfect amount of everything. What a wonderful place; I wish I lived closer. Thank you to everyone at Bitty & Beau's for the most pleasant experience I've ever had at a coffee shop! read more
I am on a hunt to try all the various coffee spots in Wilmington and since I had not been to Bitty and Beau's I decided to check them out on a lovely Sunday. This company has such a beautiful story and mission. On their website Bitty's says they advocate for the value, acceptance, and inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the Wrights have dedicated their lives to making the world a better place for their children and others living with disabilities. The inside of the shop is very clean and organized and wide open. Once I walked up to the counter I was greeted by a very nice cashier and ordered my coffee. You get a playing card that acts as your number that is called once your coffee/drink is ready. On one of their signs they say they use the same coffee as the Rachel Ray show, and this is where I dock some stars. I did not like my latte at all and sadly ended up throwing much of it out. It was almost grainy in taste, and a large was more like a medium. With that being said, I do still love the message behind this company and the wonderful customer service, just not so much their lattes. read more

I was greeted upon arrival. Service was awesome, staff very knowledgeable of the available items. Inviting ambiance. I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie which was really good along with a double chocolate and lemon cranberry muffin, both food items were nice and warm and very tasty. read more

Bitty & Beau's will always be a five star coffee shop in my eyes. I live in Charleston, where I visit that shop frequently, so when I was in Wilmington, I couldn't pass up a chance to visit the hometown location. The interior is beautiful. Plenty of seating. Friendly atmosphere. Our order was taken quickly and we relaxed while it was being prepared. My wife also bought a candle that was made by a mother / daughter team locally. Our chai latte's came out tasting as good as I knew they would. Loved every minute of being here. Can't wait to come back and support them again in the future. read more

Very large and cute coffee shop a little ways off the main road. Location is weird as it's next to a dealership, but easy to find! We ordered iced vanilla lattes which were good, but not great. We've definitely had better coffee and weren't too impressed with this. The design of their coffee shop is very cute, as well as their merch. read more

You've probably seen Bitty and Beau's on news stories and we are so lucky to have this gem right here in Wilmington. Warm, friendly environment and just makes you feel good to support such a great business. Coffee is on point and there's light snacks too. Love the map of all the visitors who have pinned their location. Whether you're local or visiting, worth a trip. It can be tricky to find but go through the car dealership and tucked away in the corner you will find it. read more
By far one of my favorite coffee shops in Wilmington. I love the look of it on the outside as well as the inside. Inside they have plenty of seating and even spaces for private meetings or somewhere where you need to study. They offer a lot of merchandise which is a great gift for someone or yourself. You can always purchase there variety or coffee and coffee beans. I always get a baked good and hot vanilla latte every time I go and I am never disappointed! Prices are good and staff is super friendly and inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good coffee and a great place to hangout! read more
