This local bagel shop in the Wilmington area was an absolute treat for my girlfriend and I to grab breakfast. The vicinity itself is very clean and well kept with a decent amount of indoor seating for the space and a bathroom. The person working the register was very respectful and patient with us as he answered our questions regarding the menu. Our food came out quickly, I ordered the French toast bagel with eggs and bacon which was delicious. You have the option to customize your sandwich however you please and the pricing was fair for the amount of food you receive. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a quick bite to eat or have some time to spend enjoying a well prepared bagel.

Clearly still has bacon on it!

I had an issue here where I was carelessly served something I specifically asked to not be on my bagel and got it anyway. I have been back several times and they have really done a great job on the service improvement. After the incident the owner offered me a free meal and I refused asking only that they address the carelessness issue and they did! So they get there stars back! Great job following up and making sure it didn't happen again!

Found this place last minute, and I'm so glad we did! Absolutely delicious! Bagels were fresh, soft but still had the crunch on the outside. opted for scallion cream cheese and it was a 10/10. Donuts were also sooo fresh and very soft! What a hidden gem! Loved my experience here!

Thank you for baking these fresh! So good!

Why do I keep coming back here? Over the last two months I might have gone to Round 4 times or so. Every single time it is so slow and employees are visibly confused. This isn't exactly peak season either. I know it's busy year round in Wilmy now, but this spot needs to tighten up badly. I WANT to love this place but it desperately needs leadership presence and a stronger focus on the product. If you arrive past 10 AM they will sell out of donuts (whatever kind you want, they won't have it) and won't make any more. This is bagels AND donuts... It's in the name, logo, merch, whatever... Anyway, this morning I showed up at 6:30 AM and purchased donuts, only to be told they weren't even made yet. Employee: "make sure to let customers know we don't make donuts until we open." What? Why? What sense does that make to not have the full menu of baked goods at opening? It's a bakery at heart, no? Help me understand why it's so difficult to get a chocolate donut here. I waited around for an extra 5-10 minutes for hot and delicious donuts so one star for that and one star for the filthy, dirty countertop... put a rag in someone's hand! The lack of cleanliness is noticeable as other reviewers have pointed out. I don't wanna give up on this place but y'all are making it easy.

Sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel

Wow one of the top 5 bagels I've ever had! Service: These people work hard and the place was packed on a Saturday at noon. We had to wait about 30 min for our bagels after ordering in the shop. Pro tip - order ahead online!! Ambiance: classic bagel deli. Simple yet so effective. Definitely a popular place for students - they offer a 10% discount for military or valid student ID. Food: I got a sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. The bagel was warm, fresh, and flavorful. The eggs are cooked to order. The cheese was warm and melted. Great quality and a great price!

Out of chocolate donuts at 10am is kinda ridiculous. You should be more prepared. Update: Gave this place another chance and this time I ordered again chocolate donuts... literally 6:30 am no excuse to not have those but I got this ?? I do not like sprinkles, especially these... they taste like mouthwash or licorice or something. Yuck. I'm sure the owner will have some excuse as they do on all the bad reviews but seriously do better. Lost a customer. Edit: in response to the owners reply which was exactly what I thought it would be. Zero accountability of course. That's great you think your bakers do a good job, but obviously they're not if you are 86 donuts when you open? Obviously you need to retrain your staff if they're sending out the wrong product? Maybe take a course yourself in hospitality. Yikes. Bad look for you. The way the owner replies to reviews on Google and is passive while taking no accountability is disgusting! Shame on you. Very poor business practices.

Everything bagel Sausage + egg + cheddar cheese I added: tomato's + grilled pepper & onions + mayo & hot sauce (in place of chipotle sauce )

To start off, im new to Wilmington. Second, I hate to be this guy who is a self anointed bagel snob, but I am. Growing up in a Jewish household from New York, we take our bagels seriously. It's hard to find a bagel spot that hits just right. This bagel shop was absolutely incredible. The quality was amazing and the price was so low. I've had $25 bagels that weren't even close to this. The staff was also so silly and enjoyable to encounter. This was my first time and I will be going back for my all time fav, bagel and lox. 10/10. Will be taking all my out of town guests here! Only "complaint" I have is not having some type of chipotle sauce, but let's be real, that's rare for a bagel joint. Can't wait to go back

Everything bagel & scallion cream cheese

TOTAL: $6.52 - Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese - Chocolate Sprinkle Donut - Strawberry Sprinkle Donut (Donuts were buy one, get one free when I visited) ‍SERVICE: Excellent. Kind & friendly folks. Even complimented my sunglasses. FOOD: The everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was great! Nice chewy texture, crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of shmear. Donuts were good, too, especially the strawberry iced, but the bagels are what really shines here. TRAVEL: ~20mins. Bagel was steaming hot when I got it, but had cooled almost completely by the time I got home. Texture and toastiness were not hurt by the drive. Get a & a & eat local!

The people taking your order are very kind. And everyone there is welcoming. But every single time I order a 'Meat and Cheese' I end up getting a Cheese and Egg Bagel. This has happened multiple times, even when the ticket says Meat and Cheese. I would love to come back but due to the continued wrong orders I don't think I will.

Egg, Meat, and Cheese (Taylor ham). This bagel was toasted perfectly!

2 stars only because food was so good…read more Service was probably some of the worst I've ever had. A table arrived after we got our appetizers and got their food, a box, paid, and left before we even ordered our entrees. Each drink took minimum of 15 minutes and were incorrect. The server had to come back and double check multiple orders. We were not checked on once unless we flagged her down. The list goes on. Will not return unless we order take out.

I'm the St. Louis visitor in the group, here to be educated on what Southern cooking is supposed to taste like. The verdict by the end of the night was mixed. The space itself is cute and clean, with an industrial-chic, open feel inside, but it gets very loud once it fills up, like hard to hear your side neighbor loud. We lucked into a set of club chairs in a corner away from the main dining area, which knocked the noise down enough that we could hear each other. Without that, I'm honestly not sure we would have stayed. The host didn't blink at seating us over there, and the wait staff throughout the night was friendly. Drinks were fine across the table. My grilled peach old fashioned was the only one I tried, and I was hoping for a sharper, smokier profile, what I got leaned peachy without much else going on. The clams my friend ordered had a little grit in them, so not perfectly cleaned, but the flavor was there. The six-hour baby back ribs was a great start, great sauce, not smothered, fall-off-the-bone tender, the kind of thing I'd come back for. I didn't get a photo because we tore into them too fast, which tells you most of what you need to know. After that, things got uneven. The pork empanadas are listed with an ancho chili jam, but no jam or sauce came with ours. The pastry was crisp and tasty, but the pork inside was under-seasoned, and we left a whole empanada on the plate. The crab cakes was the bigger letdown, my friend, who grew up in Maryland and knows what a crab cake should be, said hers tasted more like a flat, minced patty (possibly with fish filler) than actual crab. She didn't finish it. My gumbo ya-ya had chicken, shrimp, and andouille, but the sauce was thin and tomato-forward where I was hoping for, and a richer sauce. Spice was fine; the whole thing just landed middle-of-the-road. Desserts split the difference. The key lime crème brûlée was genuinely excellent, I'd order it again on its own. The North Carolina blueberry bread pudding was beautifully plated but a little dry in execution for use. We left half of it. One thing worth flagging: the restaurant closes at 8:30, and at 8:30 sharp, with us still finishing dessert, the music came on with the unmistakable "we're closed" energy, even though we'd arrived at 7 and no one else was wandering in late. It made the end of the meal feel rushed in a way that didn't match the otherwise warm service. 3.4 starts out of 5. To be fair: we didn't leave feeling the food was bad, just that we'd ordered into the weaker half of the menu. Our server highly recommended the skillet mac and cheese and the quesadillas, and the skillet cornbread looked great online - we just didn't pull the triggers. We have generous optimism a version of this meal that goes much better than ours did, and on a second visit I'd lean into those recommendations. For now, though, with friends in town and a list of places I haven't tried yet, I probably won't be steering people here for your one night in Wilmington. I'd come back to give it a fairer second shot if I lived here.

The crabcake and poached eggs were fantastic. The large peppers and onions were not my favorite, but the potatoes were cooked well so I was happy. Also, the sweet potato biscuits were a fantastic appetizer and I'd absolutely recommend them. The parking lot does fill up on busy weekends, so expect to struggle to find parking unless you get there early. Otherwise, the experience of eating here was a breeze. We got our name on the list, got a call when the 30 minutes was up, and were promptly seated when we came in. Service was friendly and quick. I worked at a diner for 5 years with fresh squeezed and this was fresh out of a box maybe. They don't have a lot of their menu on weekends which is unique, it's typically reversed. They should have a weekend only menu tho as it's frustrating to order things it says they have and they don't. A LOT of fried or super heavy options. I came bc it said fresh but I guess deep fried fresh food is still "fresh." Plates and majority of glasses are plastic. No matter how fresh or not the food is, you still need to eat microplastics. What a fantastic evening at Dram Yard…read more We were a little concerned we might miss our 5:30 reservation after getting delayed by a seven-car accident on the bridge, but we arrived just a couple of minutes late and it wasn't an issue at all. From the moment we arrived, the experience was relaxed, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. We chose to sit in the beautiful courtyard, and with temperatures in the 70s, sunshine overhead, and a gentle breeze, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The outdoor gazebo bar creates a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and if the weather isn't cooperating, the indoor dining space is equally inviting. A special thank you to Sarah, whose service was outstanding. She was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a peaceful and unhurried dining experience. For drinks, I ordered the Ghost Town, while my wife enjoyed the Venus Flytrap. Both were beautifully prepared and easy to see why they're among the restaurant's popular cocktails. The food was equally impressive. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, and it was exceptional. The kitchen even accommodated my request for extra freshly cracked black pepper, which took an already excellent dish to another level. My wife ordered the Little Gem Salad with shrimp, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also shared the Tuna Tartare Tostada, which was outstanding--beautiful presentation, fresh tuna, and a great balance of textures and flavors. Adding to the experience was a bottle of Albariño that paired wonderfully with the meal. What stands out most about Dram Yard is its atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, slow down, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, and forget about the stresses of the day. Whether you're looking for a date night, an evening with friends, or simply a quiet place to relax, Dram Yard delivers. Excellent service, creative cocktails, outstanding food, and one of the most relaxing outdoor dining spaces in Wilmington. We'll definitely be back.
