I went with the spinach pepper jack bagel, which has a nice crispy layer of the cheese on the outside and a fluffy inside. I also got the sundried tomato cream cheese which had great flavor and big pieces of tomato. The ambiance is very cute inside and has some seating, as well as a drive thru option. I came here for a morning breakfast bagel sandwich not too long ago. It was my first time coming here after frequently visiting a different bagel place nearby. I can tell you I will definitely be back! The food was so delicious! I also really loved the service - it was very clear that the vibe inside of the café was calm and there is a lot of regulars. While I was there waiting for my bagel, I saw a lot of employees greeting customers by name and joking around. Everybody seemed to feel very comfortable there. Yes I would recommend. What I don't recommend is that when someone says they are vegan and you have a vegan menu yet you look at them perplexed. Then you mess up the order entirely and talk crap because I'm asking you to fix the order that was messed up to begin with. But for non vegans, it's a pretty good spot. This was a great place to pickup Lox bagels at 11:45am on a Sunday morning before going on a family hike in Carolina Beach State Park. Lots of pluses. First of all, this place has an informal and welcoming interior. It's popular on weekends! Although only plain bagels were still available, the combination of cream cheese, capers, and lox was satisfying after a 2 mile hike. Second, it has a drive-thru window (convenient if you're on the go). Third, the staff are really friendly (at least on a Sunday morning). Even though I could tell they were slammed with many customers earlier in the morning, I really appreciated their friendly service. As far as bagel places go, this is it. Open from 6:30 (I think) to 2:00pm, they offer fresh bagels and a dozen sandwich options to choose from. You can also build your own (with Boar's Head! The best!). The most impressive thing though, is there vegan menu. Attached below, it has sandwiches that meat lovers would appreciate. We went at 1:30, so we didn't have a lot to see, but the bagels we could see were beautiful. We got the lox on an everything bagel and a mozzarella tomato on Asiago. Wowwww Total was $18 before tip, so definitely priced like a sandwich. They were filling and tasty, so I can't disagree there. I'm glad I don't live closer or I'd be there every day! read more

I used to frequent Seaside Bagels in high school. I no longer live in Wilmington but every time I visit it's a must have. My favorite sandwich is the caesar on Asiago and I also like honey walnut cream cheese on cinnamon crunch. They also have many vegan options and offer a gluten free bun. Insuring everyone regardless of diet can find something for them. It's not just the delicious food and beverages that keep me coming back. I absolutely love their mission and values. What I can say about Seaside Bagels is that they seem to be doing the best job out of those that I've tried. There menu selections are far and away more appealing than other places and their staff seems like they're actually focused on providing something that tastes good! I always get an asiago bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese. Its rare to find sun dried tomato cream cheese, but its delicious, so I go out of my way to get it here! I really enjoyed our bagels. My son loved his too. He got a Nutella plain bagel. I got the olive cream cheese on a multi-grain. The bagels were not too thick (In NY we are used to a lot of dough) but these were a crispy light airiness about them. Tasty too. Didn't get too full which is great. I did not care for the mocha coffee and they really don't have a lot of iced coffee options but there are coffee shops near by. The drive through is convenient but You almost need to call ahead because if you place order by window you do need to pull up random places for the stuff to come out. I wish they'd implement that like J. Michaels does in the same area so people are not crammed around waiting at busy times. Other than that people were friendly - very easy process.
