Front Door....again, I am sure it is much busier on a Spring, Summer or early Fall morning
    Ed M.

We had a hard time finding a place that was open (day after Christmas) and that was good but we were told to try Bagels on Pointe by the meter police so we figured it was a go! We ordered 2 plain bagels with jelly, one everything with cream cheese and a everything with scallion spread. We arrived and there was no one in the place, which was great for timing. We were welcomed by young girl who was very nice and helpful! When we got home and started to eat the bagels, we all said the same thing....the bagels were not very tasty....more like eating a slice of bread. The bagels were good size and toasted but the overall taste was medium. The price was fair Parking was great...we were able to park right in front. I am sure this would not happen when the "season" was taking place, as I mentioned, this was the day after Christmas and it was early. Would I be back? Probably, give them a 2nd chance. I liked that they did not skimp on the spreads! 4-star Good

Such yummy bagel sandwiches for a good price!!! Service is always super friendly and we come here all the time. Just a solid bagel place with good options.

First of all the young lady working the counter was amazing. So friendly and talking to everyone. Young blonde, didn't get her name but her Mom lives in PA. LOL This breakfast bagel was fire!! So glad I got what I did. A couple of small tables inside to sit at. Perfect for 2 people each. Don't wait, go there! You will NOT be disappointed.

    Power protein bagel

Amazing friendly service. I got the power protein or something like that. Had double turkey sausage and double egg. Delicious. Bagel was soft and flavorful. Fair prices, quick service. Definitely a great neighborhood spot.

The inside was very smoky when I walked in (figured they were baking some fresh bagels because there wasn't a burnt smell) but other than that the bagel was fairly decent! I prefer sweet bagels and sadly they didn't have any sweet or fruit based cream cheeses outside of the honey maple flavor I believe. The garlic bagel wasn't dense and was nice and toasted on the outside and the scallion cream cheese had a lot of flavor! If you like savory bagels I would totally recommend!

Great, quick service, tasty food, great price that is right on the river walk. Perfect spot for a quick breakfast.

Enjoyed the chocolate chip bagel as it was a little different than the normal bagel places. Nice filling ratio! Most people came with their own coffee as they didn't have fancy options.

This bagel was on point...is that how they got the name?! We were in the neighborhood and needed breakfast. This was a nice easy location in Barclay. Lots of options and the staff was nice, she was in training. Our food came out fast and the sweet potato tots were hot! The line did get long while we ate. It's a small place so most people took their food to go. I'd come back if I was in the area.

Power protein sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bagel and iced coffee

Very friendly service and the power protein sandwich was delicious on the jalapeño cheddar bagel!

Yum! I went in for a sausage egg & cheese on asiago and it was exactly what I got! We also ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a sun-dried tomato bagel. Very clean environment. Menu is straightforward--this is an uncomplicated quick-service experience. (I waited less than 5 minutes for my bagel.) The lady at the register was super nice as well. My total (for just the asiago breakfast sandwich) was $5.98 before the tip.

The Barclay on a jalapeno bagel with a side of tots

Sunday morning, my wife was having a hankering for a bagel sammy from her favorite place, Mr. Bagelmeister. When we pulled up to the establishment, we noticed the name had changed to Bagels on Pointe!! What?!?! Tell me this couldn't be. What about that delicious Cesar sammy, the sundried tomato bagel and the jalapeno bagels, made to perfection?? We walked in and I immediately was relieved to see the owner, John, on the grill. Whew! After speaking with John for a little bit, I learned he made the name change a few months back, but it's still the same old wonderful bagel shop and staff! This time, however, I tried something different. FOOD: The Barclay (Philly cheesesteak on your favorite bagel) on a jalapeno bagel with a side of tots. The steak was shaved and cooked well, mixed with diced onion and peppers with some ooey gooey cheese. The taste was incredible but I just wish there could have been slightly more meat on this sammy. My go-to has always been the Cesar sandwich bc of the wow factor and that it is packed with meats. If the Cesar is a solid 5 stars, I would rank the Barclay I had...4.1 stars. The tots were golden, crispy and served piping hot although I doubt these were house made tots. SCORE: 4.2 STARS!! SERVICE: John, owner of this place, is not afraid of hard work, dedication and getting his hands dirty within his operations. Each time I see him, he is at the grill, preparing the meals for patrons while his staff accommodates orders at the ordering station and on the phone. The staff is always polite and kind and I enjoyed my experience once again. SCORE: 5 STARS!! OVERALL SCORE: If you frequented or visited Mr. Bagelmeister before...this is the same crew and food, just under a different name. Love this place but I will probably stick with the Cesar, since I consider it the best item on their menu. For this specific visit? 4.6 STARS!!

I stopped in here after an early doctors appointment and it was okay. I ended up getting a bagel egg and cheese with hot sauce and overall it was really bland. The everything did not have enough seasoning that I am use to for a from scratch bakery, and the place was a little dirty inside. Nothing to write home about but good if you are looking for a quick meal.

She was incredibly kind, attentive, and took excellent care of me throughout my visit. I ordered one of the specials--a Southwest-style bowl with rice, black beans, corn, steak, avocado sauce, and guacamole. I requested the steak medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well seasoned, and the portion was more than generous. Even without the coupon, the price was fantastic for the quality and amount of food. This was such a great experience from beginning to end. I cannot wait to go back, and I truly hope Jaden is my server again. She is a lovely human being who deserves all the recognition!

The customer service really made the visit enjoyable. The food itself was delicious and definitely worth ordering. The one downside is the wait time. The Chicken & Waffles were the standout. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the sweet syrup and smoky bacon. A great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Spinach & Swiss omelette was light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The spinach and melted Swiss worked well together, and the home fries were nicely seasoned with peppers and onions. The English muffin was a simple but welcome addition. The bird & Brie sandwich was another winner. The brioche bun was soft and buttery, while the brie added a creamy richness that elevated the sandwich. The arugula brought a fresh peppery bite that kept everything balanced. Overall, the food was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was cooked well. The home fries were crispy and flavorful across all the plates. It was great weather this night, so we opted for an outside table that was in total shade. Very comfortable. Our server came by for drink orders. We had no appetizers this visit and went right into entrees. We tried the Port City Burger, the Gnocchi with chicken, cilantro lime shrimp quesadillas and the salmon tacos. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that the Salmon Tacos was a bit small. The dish is two small tacos with a side of tortilla chips. There is no salsa, no pico de gallo, no slaw. I was actually sorry that I didn't get an appetizer. I was still a little hungry after I finished. We didn't want any of the dessert offered this time. Again, everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere, outside patio. Just my dish was a little less in size. I will keep that in mind next time we visit. I'm not sure something like this would be changed on the menu, but I still wanted to voice my opinion. Still a great place with a great menu and service. If the weather is good, opt for the patio. It is really nice sitting out there.
