I actually love this place. I have no clue how to say it though and most of the people I say it like the name "Nickie" and I don't agree with that but whatever. The sushi here is fantastic and I also love their ramen. Their presentation is great and I really like some of the larger sushi platters that come with fun things like dry ice. I have never had to wait for a table here and I've been here a few times. I have never ever had something bad here and the quality of the fish is great. The only thing I will say is that its a little bit on the pricey side. But all else aside its a great place.

Great spot for a lunch or dinner date! We could see the water from our table, great view. The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. Top tier service! The food was high quality and so delicious. Everything on the menu sounded great, it was hard to pick. We cannot wait to go back!

Great place! Best Hibachi in the area. The chicken is all perfect. Great sauce, too. The sushi is top-notch. The Dynamite Roll was one of the best rolls I've had in our region. Just amazing! Looking forward to them opening another location in Hillsboro!

Let me tell you... this place is a hidden GEM. Never heard of the spot before, we wanted to go to Al's and everyone wanted sushi so we tried to find something close and found this spot. You're immediately welcomed by everyone when you walk in, we were seated right away and waters and utensils were brought out to us within a moment of sitting down. They have a rather large drink menu, fully stocked bar, and we all enjoyed the drinks we chose! Our waitress was very kind and helps us pick a few favorites as this was our first visit. The food took a little longer than expected to come out, but everyone's stuff came out at the same time, and drinks got to us fast so we enjoyed those and chatted while we waited. They also keep people spread out when they're not busy and I love that, I hate being grouped up and it makes a half empty restaurant feel so loud. The rolls, nigiri and salad with salmon were amazing. We were all shocked with how good everyone's food tasted and the worst part was we were full and couldn't try more. The place was clean, relatively quiet, great food, delicious drinks and our waitress was awesome. I would recommend this spot and look forward to my next time going.

I've ordered food delivered from Nikki Sushi & Steak several times. As a vegetarian I really appreciate all their meat free choices. I've enjoyed several delicious sushi items in addition to several veggie hot entrees. Their hibachi veggie dish is very tasty. Every item I've ordered has been carefully packed and arrived in good condition. I can't comment on the service or ambience since I haven't dined in. But I can highly recommend the food since it's always been very good.

Double salmon roll & Autumn Leaves Roll

[ food ]: 10/10 * Autumn Leaves Roll - This was a super refreshing sushi roll. The flavors melded beautifully together and surprised me that mango could complement the more umami flavors in this dish. * Double Salmon Roll - This is the roll for any salmon enthusiast, the salmon was super fresh, no fishy at all, the jalapeño didn't really add spice but was more of a complimentary contrast from more of the saltier flavor profiles. * T.N.T. Roll - Brought so many flavors together such as the caviar and truffle oil combined with the freshness from the fish, this was my favorite specialty sushi from nikki. This roll had a greater depth of flavor than the other rolls I've had here previously. I would definitely order this again! [ service ]: 10/10 * service here is always extremely pleasant and inviting. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure that my family and I are enjoying our food and are more than attentive to any of our requests! [ ambiance]: 10/10 * The inside of the restaurant has a very modern japanese aesthetic, that gives a very classy but cozy vibe. Even the plates are decorated quite impressively and uniquely every time.

Not many people around me talk about how great Nikki's is. I really enjoy bringing my friends here to have a nice dinner. The sushi here is just amazing, always fresh, and the chefs always decorate the sushi very creatively. The ramen here is amazing for people who love ramen. I always loved the hibachis, which are always delicious. I also really like the patios by the back where you can see the lake. Sitting here in the evening, as the sun sets, is amazing. The service is also great since the servers/waiters here are always kind and polite. I really recommend this place. (P.S., this place is open on Sundays!)

Shri.p and veggies tempura

1st time here. The staff were too plentiful at 5:30, so business must pick up quite a bit later on. We sat and were served very quickly. I tried a combo sushi plate. The snapper, yellowfin, and salmon were OK. Not the best, but good. The tuna was excellent for this price range. The shrimp and octopus weren't good. Not bad, just lacking flavor. The sushi rice was a bit sweet. Overall, the tuna is a great buy and the rest was decent for the price. We ordered the Shoyu Ramen as well. The noodles were good as were both broth and veggies. The egg they used was exceptional in flavor. The pork was just OK. We had tempura and once again found the shrimp dissapointing . The veggies were great and the tempura was cooked well and not oily. All in all, a decent experience. Worth a try as sushi supplies can vary in quality over time.

Food was amazing! I dream about the salmon appetizer and can't wait to go back to have it again. The service was great and my server was so quick with everything.

They do have a large menu besides sushi so I've been branching out into their other items. This time I tried the miso ramen, and the broth was flavorful, not too salty, and it felt complete without needing to order extra add-ins. Better than some dedicated ramen shops I've been to. They might still get busy on weekends, but we went on a weeknight, it was pretty quiet and the food came out quickly.

Their menu is pretty large, with so many options to choose from if you're not really wanting sushi or just wanting to change it up a bit. We were sat down pretty promptly for a walk in at 6 pm! The space was nice to sit down with friends and loved ones for a bite to eat. We came starved, so we practically ordered the whole menu hahah. Nigiri: the salmon was superb. Very sweet, melt in your mouth, perfect mouthfeel! That was our first bite of the day and it really set the tone for the rest of what we ordered. We then had the kanpachi, madai, escolar, and ikura. I really enjoyed the madai and the escolar. Those were both buttery but had a great texture/chew. The kanpachi was fine, I wasn't expecting it to be slightly charred, but that's a personal preference! Next was the ika and the Hokkaido scallop. The Ika was delicious! Everywhere I go I always order the ika, and the Ika here was just as tasty and chewy. They added a shiso leaf with it, giving it more of a different flavor profile, slightly spiced/bitter. But I quite enjoyed that. The Hokkaido scallop was soo incredibly tasty. It was soft, bouncy, and sweet! No fishiness that can sometimes be found with scallops imo. Lastly for nigiri we got the spot shrimp. I thought this was just okay, similar to how I felt about the ikura. Not bad but there were better hits with the nigiri we ordered. Rolls: hamachico was my favorite roll we got out of the two. The yellowtail was so light tasting it almost felt like a palate cleanser with all the food we ordered, it was really good I'd order this again! The lobster roll was okay, I think the chunks of fried lobster on it was great, the base was like a slightly more elevated California roll as my partner described it. It was overall good. Negimaki: this was so so juicy with each bite and full of flavor! Would definitely order this one again. Lobster karaage: the breading to lobster was spot on. These were large fluffy chunks of lobster with just the perfect amount of crunchy breading. Paired with the spicy mayo and the tartar sauce- so delish! Miso soup: it was packed with clams, enoki mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, scallops, tofu, etc. the pot was PACKED. I didn't even get a photo, but I absolutely loved this. I'm not really a miso soup girl, but seeing how much others raved about it, we had to order it and I'm so glad we did. Best miso soup I've ever had! The star of the dinner was their ankimo, hands down. I've tried so many others, but this was so soft, creamy, perfect umami. I would've ordered seconds if we didn't have so much other food already. Overall dinner was delicious, and I definitely have my eye on so many other menu items to try next time!

Walked in and the restaurant looked really cute! Got seated in a big table at the wall. We had a baby in the stroller so it helped having that table. My server was a lady and she was really sweet and helpful. We ordered tonkatsu ramen, agadashi tofu, tuna roll and of course, everyone's favorite, the california roll. Agadashi tofu was perfection, as well as the Tuna and California roll. Love that they did not load the rolls with a lot of rice. It was light, fresh and delicious. My tonkatsu ramen came out hot and oh my goodness, the broth was savory, thick and full of flavor! You can tell they cooked that broth a long time. I actually ate up the whole bowl. The chashu was so tender and tasty, it melted in my mouth. The egg was perfectly marinated with a good taste and flavor. Price point was a bit on the higher end for me, but I justify that it's located in Oregon and this is not an area where there's lots of Japanese restaurants around, like where i'm at in Las Vegas. But this place is legit good. I would definitely fly in just to get out of town and have good ramen and sushi here. I am absolutely recommending this place.

So when they have something not worth the money, I feel like im getting ripped off. And that pisses me off!!!! I brought one of the kids along afternoon sushi. She wanted salmon sashimi, I wanted scallops sashimi. The menu said 3 pieces. Ok, the scallop nigiri is one whole scallop partially sliced in the middle and folded out over the rice as one piece. Cost is 8 dollars for one piece. So a 3 piece scallop sashimi cost $22. It cane on a plate with one piece of scallop sliced in half then in thirds for six slices. Don't order sashimi at this location. They really cut these things thin or in smaller pieces. They think you're getting good sashimi. There are at least a dozen sushi places around that will give you a proper thickness of their sashimi slices of salmon and three piece whole scallops. I was angry, but kept my temper and just stopped communicating with them and saying no I don't want anything extra. I'll eat what I have which was good and I don't want anything else from these people. I'm angry because they tried to rip me off.
