Poor service. 60 year old lady behind bar was beyond rude. Screaming and yelling at customers and threatening to fight them. Very low income behavior. Then had the audacity to complain about zero tip. A tip is earned not given by default. Foul mouthed and excuses it by saying it's her 2nd day on the job. You're 70 I'd hope this isn't your first gig. Upsetting and disturbing. Grateful for American Express standing behind their clients and standing by our disputed charge. Avoid this place. read more

We were looking for a place to eat and happened upon this Korean fusion place. We were greeted right away and taken to be seated. We found out the owner is from Korea so I was excited to try the food. We started with the spicy wings. The Korean spicy sauce was delish! Next up we decided to get the Tonkotsu Black ramen and the Bulgoki Spicy shrimp to share because we couldn't decide on just one lol. Holy cow! That pork bone broth in the ramen was to die for! Real nice remodel inside. Clear spacing between tables higher rise for way in and out of chairs. Lower tables also available. Seat yourself and get some service. A real restaurant. Imagine. Service for now is a one person job. It's not as crowded as it could be till everyone realizes the Ramen is back. Good friendly and on top what is going on with specials and beers on tap. A good selection rotating in and out. I had the level three spicy and the black garlic. It's a pretty good scale. If you're looking for more go for it Ramen is full of flavor and a meat and noodles. Not overloaded as some place can be kind of perfect. Definitely looking forward to repeat visits. Hopefully they find their footing and get even more creative with their menu. Started out with the kimchi quesadillas with bulgogi - excellent starter. I got the spicy pork belly tacos, my friend got the black ramen. The tacos were excellent, filled with pork, cilantro, cabbage and mild mango mayo; the ramen was delicious- an earthy flavor, with pork belly, corn and pickled onions. Service was great, ambience tow key (we ate before kitchen closed and bar on the other side was starting karaoke). Surprisingly good, casual find on a Friday with no reservations needed. read more

We've been looking for a place to have lunch after a long hike and we stopped at Vineyard Bar and Grill. I liked the Tonkotsu Black that I ordered. I wish, though, that the egg had been marinated a bit more and the pork had more flavor. The service was exceptional--our waters were always refilled, and we never had to wait for attention. Overall, I'd recommend the place for a casual lunch. The ambiance was relaxed, and the friendly staff made it a pleasant stop after our hike. read more

I've been a few times, and while the food isn't exceptional, it isn't bad either. The proprietor is a nice guy, pretty chatty, and seems to really love the town. The ambiance is fine, quiet and laid-back, but the food overall is just slightly disappointing. I've gotten the ramen whenever I've gone, and just found it to be a little underwhelming. The toppings were fine (though the soft-boiled egg has been cold once or twice), and the noodles are actually quite solid, springy and chewy like ramen noodles ought to be. The broth and chashu pork, however, were disappointingly bland. All-in-all I don't think it's a bad place by any means, and if you're jonesing for ramen and don't want to go further afield, it's not a bad option. read more

My daughter and I love the ramen and udon here. The tofu is perfectly fried and soaks up the broth. The portions are generous with lots of chasu pork in the tonkotsu and a big handful of enoki mushrooms on the udon. The inside is always very clean and well cared for, there are little touches of love around, handwritten signs, calm lighting, decorations. The owner is fast, kind and working very hard. read more

A little small of a place, but that pretty much just adds to the charm of the place. I got the Bibimbap, another in my party got the pub burger without onions, another got a bento box, and lastly we got the Tonkatsu Black Ramen. All of which were excellent, but particularly the Bibimbap and Tonkatsu Black were stellar. Now, I also knew you were supposed to mix Bibimbap, but our server, Daniel offered to mix it for me, and taught me that I've been mixing it not enough basically every time I've had it. He was exceptionally attentive, and extremely nice. I've definitely found one of my new favorite spots in Newberg! If you're in the area give it a shot! read more

I ate in here for the first time last weekend, and it was by far the best Asian food I have ever had! We have lived all over the country and had authentic Korean food from a friend when we lived in Massachusetts. this far surpassed anything that we have had! I had the chicken bento box. Best ramen ever!!! Daniel takes great care when making the base for his homemade tonkatsu ramen. I was devastated when he and his wife were away in Korea for several months, and over the moon with joy to see them again! Excellent service and the best Ramen in the area. Their broth is rich and tasty and the noodles a perfect consistency.
