Neat picture.

I have been here a few times, always to go orders though. Nihao and Chen's are my go to for local Chinese food, and usually I go for the chicken lo mein, kind of a creature of habit that way. Although they do have some special in house dishes that may sounds odd, like jelly fish head plate. However the picture of the dish looked kinda tasty, not sure I would order it, but I have thought about it. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained as the pictures show. The kitchen is open and to the left side of the dining area, and that also looks to be kept up well. If you are looking for a spot for decent Chinese, this is the spot.

My friend and I were trying to find a neutral location to have lunch. Quick search on Yelp and NIHAO emerged as a forerunner. There are a lot is positive reviews. Neither of us had been there before, so it was the place to go. Located in a strip mall, the GPS tried to have me make a u-turn to the other side of the street. There is plenty parking. The inside is split into two areas, pickup and dining room. Pickup was pretty busy with quite a few people getting it to go. We sat to chat, so off to the dining room. Little older interior. Bench and chair seating. The bench's were a little squeaky for me but are fine. I always have the hot and sour soup as my gauge of a Chinese restaurant. No two are alike. This was a more traditional heavy dark color with plenty of veggies. Spices were pleasant and soup was nice. I would have to say, not in my top 10 but a nice soup. We both went with the veggie delight. Nice crisp veggies and plenty of them. The sauce was light so not to take away from the taste. There was also a good variety, mushrooms, broccoli, shoots, good stuff. It was followed by an almond cookie. Nice and light and good flavor. Bill came with the traditional fortune cookie. Over all the it was a very pleasant lunch with nice food.

Solid Chinese spot if you're in the falls area. I came and picked it up for my office for lunch, they had some awesome lunch specials that were almost half price! I got the general tsaos with fried rice and an egg roll and it was super yummy. My fave was the crab Rangoon's though! They were really good! The food was ready when I arrived, and the service was lovely. Will be returning!

10/24/14 @ 2:30pm (dinner time) I honestly recommend this place! They have many lunch selections to choose from and their entrees are always made hot and fresh and quick as well! Their egg fooyoung just melts in my mouth & egg drop soup was just so soothing and delicious! It's in a little strip area and you'll probably miss it if you don't pay attention but their sign is pretty bright and red for you to catch it. Their Hunan chicken dinner was great (a little bit spicy for me but I was ok with it). Their smoothie was also made fresh. Overall it was a good experience for my niece and I. Take a visit when you are around the area you won't be disappointed.

I like their beef, fish and intestine dishes! Strongly recommended Xiao Chao beef and Spicy Intestines!

Slow service and food was just ok. They have a different Chinese specific food menu, but felt food was oily and fried hard.

Felt terrible as we were the only ones in here for the entire lunch. Great service, food was good and they have a good lunch menu.

I'm very surprised this place is in business at this time. Came in and no customers inside which…read moreshould have giving me red flags right away. Floors and restaurant seemed dirty. Looked under our table We ordered beef rolls, pork soup dumplings, bbq pork Bao buns. They asked if we wanted "special soup" - which tasted like watered down chicken noodle soup with small pork wontons. The beef rolls came out and i was shocked to see a cold flour tortilla, lettuce and beef rolled up like a taco. This is no where near a beef roll and was informed they do it differently. They kindly removed it from our bill. The bbq pork buns tasted like they were heated up from being frozen and had an overly sweet flavor. dumplings came out very fast which makes me think they were just heated up in the microwave or something. We were in and out in about 30 minutes:/

Their sign out front says dumpling house and their menu still says Yamato sushi house. Identity crisis, no? We went in thinking this was dumpling house so we ordered dumplings. I was craving some soup, dumplings, and shrimp hao gaos. At around 13 bucks each, they were quite good. And just because I don't quite feel full with having just dumplings for dinner, we also ordered their fried rice noodles. The pictures really don't do justice for this amazing dish. They don't have fried rice on their menu, but this noodle dish tasted just like fried rice And smelled like it too. Hubby and I were really pleasantly surprised. We added a chicken to the dish, but if coming back, I will stay with just a noodles without adding protein. Our server who was Chinese, spoke very fast, and I had a hard time understanding everything he was trying to explain. But he was very eager, very nice, and very excited about us trying different foods. As it was Chinese New Year's week when we went in, he told us to try their special New Year's soup and that he was really really good. In fact, he was saying this to everyone who came in. The soup was about $13, but not big like a bowl of pho. It came in the medium size bowl, clear broth, with a bunch of mini dumplings inside. It's really not something that I would normally order, especially after ordering two orders of dumplings, but I must say the taste was pretty good. Would I have it again? I will have to remember not to get pushed over by the nice enthusiastic server. Since we didn't know, this was a sushi place going in. I had no sushi and don't necessarily think I will. I hope they figure out their identity and stick to one thing. So far, I am happy with their dumplings and their fried rice noodle.

The minute we walked in, a man sitting next to the hostess--who appeared to be part of the restaurant, not a customer--just stared at us. No greeting, no smile... just staring. The hostess also seemed a bit confused when we walked in. She asked if we had reservations; we said no. Then she asked if a high-top table was fine, as if the restaurant were packed. We agreed, assuming there would be a long wait for a regular table. But as she led us over, there were plenty of regular tables available. So right off the bat, the vibe wasn't particularly welcoming. As for the service, the waitress did a great job with the welcome and checked on us at a perfect pace. We also liked the decor--plenty of cute design elements that would make for great photos and draw people in. The menu was well done too: not overwhelming, just the right amount of variety in each category. Honestly, this part is why I gave the place more stars than I probably should have. As for the food, it was just okay for us--though that may have been due to what we ordered. There were only two of us, and we got three dishes: shrimp fried rice, beef chow fun, and kung pao chicken. We thought that would give us a good variety. The food had good flavor, but all three dishes tasted very similar. If you try these same dishes elsewhere, the flavors are usually more distinct. I do wish we had tried more of the appetizers and drinks--maybe that would have changed our rating a bit.

I had the Salt & Crispy Popcorn Chicken, and it was good. I also tried their Iced Taiwanese Milk Tea, but unfortunately, it was way too milky for my taste. I prefer the darker, richer, and more bitter style of Taiwanese milk tea, so this one didn't hit the mark for me. Ended up tossing a good portion of it, which was disappointing. The tech ordering screen was super convenient and made the process smooth. Plenty of seating inside, but it was a bit humid, which wasn't the most comfortable. Overall Service: There wasn't much direct interaction since everything was done through the tech screen, but the staff did call out my number and it was a pleasant interaction. Quick and efficient!

All were very good, but I liked the braised pork the best! It was so flavorful and delicious, I only wish the ratio of pork to rice was more balanced. Both of our bowls were left with a lot of rice when we were done eating, which I hate to have go to waste. The two sides were really good, I always like taiwanese popcorn chicken and this was excellent! I didn't know what to expect from the tofu, but it really was a crispy block of fried tofu with a scoop of the braised pork on top, delicious! Service is fast, you can order at the kiosk or at the window. Utensils / napkins / water are self serve and you bus the dishes in that same area. I will definitely return when I am in the area!
