I have visited Dave's Gun Shop many times for purchases and to take advantage of his gunsmithing…read moreskills. He has installed sights for me on several pistols, a shotgun and my AR, and has refurbished a couple of old shotguns for me to make them safe and reliable. He does first rate work and his prices are more than reasonable. He has a large selection of new and used pistols, rifles and shotguns. There is always something new every time we go in. I noticed with a great amusement that a person from San Francisco wrote a "review" of Dave's Guns which is actually a pathetic thinly veiled rant on Taurus Firearms, based on the assumption that Dave may have had one in his store at one time. I know that he has at least one time, because he put some new sights on my Taurus PT1911. He not only did a superb job, the pistol has always been reliable and accurate before and after Dave worked on it. I am really quite disappointed that Yelp would post a review by an individual that has never been within 800 miles of the business being reviewed and had no dealings with the business. Yelp should review their policy that allows their site to be used for personal vendettas not related to the business being "reviewed".
