I can't tell you enough how great this place is the food is incredible. The taste is amazing. It's a little small place off of Biscayne Boulevard that I think a lot of people drive by and don't realize how good the food is. I would really give it a five stars there's so many things on the menu to choose from and I have had so many of them and they are all good. See pictures below for most recent meals!! Please go

Great little Italian spot! This restaurant was very cozy. Friendly staff and good food. I had the short rib ravioli which was very tasty. Other diners with me had the fig ravioli, burrata and beef carpaccio. Despite nice meal, the table and chairs were not that comfy. Didn't make me want to stay and enjoy my coffee and company. We ate and left. Also, while the inside of the restaurant has cute pics of Italy all over, there was a random gray painted square in the middle of the wall with no picture or painting. It was strange. I would come back though as the food was good!

Stop now and come to this restaurant. This is easily the best Italian food that I've had in Miami. This quaint little restaurant looks unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, you know you're about to have the best food of your life. They have a live band playing music, which is also really nice here. Get the short rib ravioli. This is a must. This umami bomb of a dish is easily, the best ravioli I've ever had. It is packed with incredibly tender and well seasoned short rib, and covered in beautiful cheeses and sauce. I also personally really recommend their potato gnocchi. This is another handmade pasta. That is absolutely delicious, filled with ricotta and potatoes, and served with an excellent fresh tomato sauce, and topped with mozzarella. Again, if you want some of the best Italian food you may ever have, and definitely in Miami, this is a place you must come to.

I stopped in to pick up an order. I went straight home and began eating my food, half way through my meal I notice a straight short hair strand in my food. I have long curly hair and was wearing it in a bun at the time of me eating this. I will not be ordering anything from this establishment again.

Oh Nido how much I've missed you. Finally made it back to Nido caffe after a few years. The restaurant still does not disappoint. If you love authentic Italian food this is your spot. Started off with the Bruschetta Classica which was on a toasted garlic bread with delicious tomatoes and basil which were so fresh it kept you wanting for more. Next was the Risotto which I really enjoyed but I personally like the texture more creamy, I still enjoyed it though. My favorite was the Fagottini di Pera con Gamberi which is a pear cheese filled pasta with parmesan cream sauce and shrimp. All I can say was amazing. Every mouthwatering bite had the pasta melting in my mouth. It was a perfect blend of creamy pasta and sweetness of the pear cheese. I definitely recommend this dish. Finally ended with Tiramisu which was very good. Starters range from $10-$18, Entrees $18-$40, and deserts from $10-15. They are open for lunch and dinner daily. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant along with nearby street parking. Nido does everything right. We had a good server which was able to explain the menu and was attentive. It's a charming space which also has a small outdoor patio. The whole place makes you feel like your in Italy. Nido is a must try right in the heart of the MiMo district.

The Pavlova is the only thing I remember from this dinner date. Our server was the owner, she was quite sympathetic. Food was ok, not good nor bad. For great Italian food there are better places I would say. They have an outdoor area and the ambiance in general was cozy.

Been here a few times and gollllllyyyyy!!!!! The fresh gnocchi.. the meat and cheese boards, ugh. Seems to be family owned and great for it. Not pretentious, welcoming, and just so damn good. Don't even think about it. Go. This place doesn't get as much business as it should.

Outstanding!!!! All the food was amazing. There was nothing we tried that we were not impressed by. We even ordered double dessert. Highly recommend. Service felt they were a bit understaffed but our waitress was still always near by in case we needed anything. Definitely will be coming back read more

It's sometimes hard to dine out as a vegan. While there are no vegan specific dishes- our capable and handsome head waiter and server Nicola from Naples rigged me a delicious quinoa salad with spinach and tomatoes and olives. I ate two plates. Would I come back? Probably not until the menu expands to include a vegan dish. But all of the non- vegans loved their dishes. Bravo Nicola!!! read more

This is such an amazing family owned restaurant tucked away inside a shopping center just off 95. I've been coming for years but have just never left a review. From the moment you walk in you're made to feel like family. They have amazing wines that pair perfectly with your pasta or dish of your choice. One thing I have found as a northerner foodie traveling in southern Florida, do not discount a restaurant in a strip mall. If you are looking for fresh and authentic Italian food in the Miami Beach area look no further than NiDo. The egg noodles were divine and reminded me of my grandma's, almost as good . The burrata made me envious as I try and try but I can never get the right constancy and you can tell that this is made in the kitchen and is t rolling off of a truck. My only advice is plan to take half of your meal home so you can save room for dessert. I wish I would have stopped eating the warm bread so I could have had a slice of limoncello cake. read more

This is one the first restaurants I went to when living in North Miami Beach. This place has amazing delicious food, great wines and a very beautiful intimate environment. The owners and staff are extremely warm and very helpful. They also have live music on certain nights and the music is great. This spot is a true gem and would definitely recommend anyone to come dine here. read more

LOVE ME SOME ITALIAN FOOD. NiDo Caffe is nestled just past design district near another favorite restaurant of ours. We decided to try the Miami Spice menu as they are dog friendly. We made a reservation for a Thursday night. Although not many people were there, we were immediately escorted to the patio with our dog. The waitress brought him a cute doggy bowl of water and ensured that he was taken care of too. We started with the appetizers. I had the octopus salad. This was a spinach, olive, feta, tomato salad with pieces of tender, grilled octopus and roasted potatoes and delicious house made dressing. My husband had the meatball which was succulent and stuffed with cheese. For entrees, I had the ravioli fichi which is ravioli stuffed with figs. It was amazing, just perfect savory and slightly sweet. The pasta cooked perfectly al dente with walnuts and a light sauce on top. My husband had the gnocchi with asiago cheese and braseola which was just fluffy little pillows of deliciousness. For dessert, we finished with tiramisu which was light and airy. Perfect ratio of coffee to chocolate. We would be remiss if we did not mention the outstanding service. The waitresses were phenomenal, quick service, wonderful recommendations. Will definitely be back. Great prices even without miami spice. read more

Nope! Lady (owner maybe?) walking around inside the restaurant with her mask off most of the time. You have guests seated with no masks on. We come to support local businesses, but you want to be disrespectful by not wearing a mask. Disrespecting not only your guests, but your employees as well.. Bye, we left before ordering. Came here for lunch and found a little gem in a charming setting. We sat outside surrounded by manicured hedges that gave us privacy from the sidewalk. Ordered a caesar salad with crispy bacon bits and croutons. I will say this was one of the better salads as it was not to creamy with the dressing. The fresh bread was warm and crispy. Also had the smoked salmon panini with creme cheese and capers which was just what I needed! The panini was warm and not too toasted and the smoked salmon was really tasty. Service was ok and food was a little pricey for what you get. read more

One of the reason I got into Yelp was Second Saturdays related - I was trying to find a post art walk dinner stop. That tradition continues with NiDo! A short drive away from all the galleries it provided a chill spot to quench my pasta craving tonight. I was greeted by who looked to be the executive chef and helped to a corner table, despite walking in right around the posted closing time. The owner introduced himself and brought out some crispy-on-the-outside-soft-inside Italian baguette, olive oil and vinegar. Good sign #1 since I judge an Italian place by the bread - perfect texture and not heavy! Craving pasta, the gnocchi with basil and red sauce caught my eyes. My nose was pleased with a dish smelling of fresh basil, maybe a hint of oregano and plenty of tomato. Supplemented with fresh black pepper, my taste buds were pleased as well. Though the flavor sounds interesting, you must join me in trying their Pineapple and coconut Panna cotta. A pineapple syrup over a soft creamy background, it melted in my mouth leaving yummy taste memories. The espresso was strong enough that here it is 3AM and I'm doing this review :) What takes NiDo to five stars is also their service. Having both the owner and executive chef check in on me - I also saw him interact with other customers - shows a pleasant dedication. Other diners sitting with the executive chef (Lucca, I believe) recommended my dessert, but the spot is chill enough where you can dine with just your smartphone keeping you company. Decor is casually upscale, like the entertainment room and dining rooms of the nearby luxury homes, lighting's dim which complements the jazzy funk playing over the sound system and the TV showing Italian TV. Oh, and the bathroom is nice as well, with it's own flat screen TV! read more

I've lived in the Edgewater area for over a year and never knew this place existed! My daughter highly recommended it to me because we are both a fan of Italian cuisine. This is such a hidden gem right off of Biscayne, I am so happy we found this place. The service was perfect, and the food is absolutely delicious. It is so tasty and fresh! It is located in a plaza so there's parking available which is so convenient to not have to pay to park. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I had the lasagna and my daughter had the short rib ravioli with truffle sauce. We also had burrata for an appetizer. Everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back! read more

Great brunch spot in Miami. I found the place on yelp and got my fiancé to drive 5 miles out of the way to check it out. Location: there is parking in front and some street parking. When we arrived, all the spots were taken in front and we were lucky to find parking on the street. Service: at first the service was a bit slow, but we got to meet the owner and she made our day! She was vibrant and excited and ready to make us happy. The Italian hospitality and charm was shining through. She listened to the types of wines we liked and got us a bottle that knocked our flip flops off! Food: excellent. We both had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The potatoes that came with the meal had just the right amount of salt and baked garlic that complemented it nicely. They staff also worked with us to fit the menu to our food restrictions (gluten free). Overall, we were happy with the food. The wine took the meal to the next level. A great Italian trattoria in MiMo. Some classics on the menu like spaghetti with clams, chicken paillard, and eggplant parmigiana are complemented by a delicious assortment of buffalo mozzarella and Italian deli treats. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. read more

Excellent food & service! Friendly and delicious. Just hosted my baby shower on their patio and everything was perfect. I was able to work with the management team before hand via email to lock in a set menu with plenty of options for my guests to choose from. Nido it's a mall Italian restaurant that was recommended by a co-worker. I called two weeks prior to make reservation for 20 ppl. A young nice lady answer my call and asked for my name date and phone number. She was so sweet and nice I was so excited to work with her. I gave her the information she requested and how many ppl would be joining. After she repeated all the information back and said I would get a call back few days before the party so confirm reservations. 2 days before the dinner I got a called back by the manager confirming my reservations. I confirmed and that was it. When we arrived we got greeted and sited right away. We had few servers at all times and one was taking our order based on our sit and name. We did not get charged in one bill it was individual (20+ people) Nido makes delicious food and drinks. I don't remember the name of my plate but it was creamy and tasty. I do remember a lot my friends order the lasagna and they all loved it. I will defiantly be back. Thank you for the amazing service. read more

I've been interested in this place for a while and have been stalking their drool-worthy pics on Instagram ...oddly enough I actually won a contest for a dinner for two! Sooo lucky! We came early on a Friday night and the place was quiet but quickly started to get super busy. It has a really nice ambiance and the cutest and coziest outdoor seating area...think small candle lit tables in a terrace. We were greeted by the manager who gave us fantastic recommendations for our dinner. We started with the octopus salad...Insalate Polipo, it was warm with the most delicious, fresh, and tender octopus pieces; lightly crisp potato chunks, cherry tomatoes, olives, red onion and a light dressing. I have never had anything more phenomenal ! This dish blew my mind... Next I had the pappardelle with mushrooms...melt-in-your-mouth mushrooms! Super creamy and delicious. We concluded with a delicious gelato for dessert ...a pistachio and chocolate combo. The service was exceptional, very attentive and prompt. This place is a must! Definitely coming back. read more

We really loved Nido.... From the moment we walked in the place is so charming and fun. Italian gracefulness exudes from all corners! We were lucky enough to get to sit outside on the patio, The perfect soft music playing and we just ended up having a wonderful dinner, drinks and desserts. She had the Risotto, I had the Osco Boco Raviolis. Both are absolutely delicious. The wine selection was amazing and very nicely priced. But the crown achieve that was the Italian Limoncello cake. So lite ,delicious and we just loved it The staff was just amazing, fun and really made the evening. read more

QUICKIE REVIEW Get away from Olive Garden and step into here. FOOD We had the following: -Spaghetti alle vongole -Pappardelle con funghi Porcini Pappardelle con funghi Porcini was good. If you are a mushroom lover, you will appreciate the taste that comes with this. The spaghetti I would say was better do to it having a few more ingredients at play. Also, of the two, you may find that the pappardelle con funghi porcini is a tad bit heavier on the stomach. I know I am not comparing apples to apples here but just wanted to point that out. Nevertheless, both dishes are good and worth trying. PARKING There is parking in this little strip plaza but not much. However, there is street parking that runs down the side of the building that seems to be readily available. SERVICE & DÉCOR They are quick. We walked in at 9:55 pm and there was immediate seating. By 10:07 we had our wine glasses in hand and food was coming out of the kitchen. I am going to set a realistic expectation for myself that it was not busy when we went in. Nonetheless, talk about a first impression. Tables, condiments containers, heck, even getting the check delivered, did not have a traditional look and feel. You knew what everything was but their spin on presentation was refreshing (check pics). PRICE Dinner for two ran $53: two meals, two glasses of wine. Right about where it should be. OTHER THOUGHTS Check out the specials they have posted on the blackboard in the top left corner. I wish I got the lasagna Ni.Do. Anything with the business name in it has to be delicious. It's always nice to have food that is not from a franchise. This place was a good experience. read more

Food was delicious but half the portion. No servers - only owners service. $28.00 for chicken Marsala nuggets. I've never ever eaten chicken Marsala that wasn't at least one full chicken breast! Pure greed on the owners part. I won't do dinner here again! We use to be regular customers. So sad... the owners will blame Covid but there's no excuse for halting the portions at full price. Waiting 45 minutes for food. We always spend $50 in alcohol at any restaurant, knowing the food and service make it worth it! Not the case here anymore! read more

Love the burrata with prosciutto and the meat lasagna from here. Located at the corner of a small strip mall on Biscayne Boulevard. The restaurant is small and intimate for couples. I drive from Kendall for their burrata with prosciutto. The burrata is creamy and goey and complements the prosciutto. The meat lasagna is decadent and meaty and melts in your mouth. Grab your brand name wallet or purse and start making a straight line for this place. Absolutely great Italian fare with the service to back it up. Everything here was start to finish great. It's simply dazzling. Whenever possible, high end Italian products are used to guarantee both authenticity and taste. I had not been this impressed with an Italian restaurant in years. No matter where you might be in the Miami area, it's surely worth the drive. Some parking is available at the small strip mall where it is located, if not it's street parking time. It's my favorite Italian restaurant in Florida. I've been to plenty Italian restaurants and this one is by far more authentic to Italy. The portions are great. Not too little or too much. Just enough, the European style. You won't leave this place feeling bloated and full as you would with the Italian-American style. They make their own Mozzarellas and the Burrata is my favorite. Polipo (octopus) is my fav salad and the Paccheri pasta hands down AMAZING. And they mix and match and change up the specials. Let's not forget the amazing friendly service from owners to the servers. I can eat there everyday if I lived in Miami again. A must go! It's my favorite Italian restaurant in Florida. Fabio is a genuine Italian from Rome. I stumbled upon this place after realizing that the Vagabond Hotel and bar was closed on a Monday. Needless to say, discovering this restaurant was a happy accident. I knew I was in good shape when I saw that they serve Julius Meinl espresso- one of Europe's best and very hard to find State side. I had the Octopus salad and the Branzino. Absolutely fantastic. The Bronzino was the best fish I've had in a long time and I live in San Francisco where seafood has been set on a high bar. You might think I'm exaggerating, but this is really my opinion. We have traveled the world and always try the Italian restaurant where we go and I can say with certainty that the fake Italian restaurants run by non Italian - that everything they do except cook Italian are everywhere. NIDO instead is a feast of flavors and aromas of genuine Italian cuisine, the restaurant is very cured and refined, together with the staff and, the delicious food. I had no desire to eat brunch in a strip mall restaurant, but was out voted. I'm definitely glad I was. Brunch at this place was so sublime, it is seriously one of the top three places I've eaten brunch in Miami-Dade county. The food seriously was the center-piece of the meal, which I think is a sign that a restaurant is truly good. However the server was delightful to chat with; and professional at the same time. Great easy brunch. Parking is perfect which is rare in Miami. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The eggs Benedict are delicious. Toasty muffin, mixed with spinach and the perfect amount of garlic. Usually my go too place for Chicken parm but today was just awful . Food arrive and the sauce was like soup and grease . Chicken tasted like it was microwaved . My wife's dish just tasted bland .
