Bartenders were attentive, drinks and food were reasonably priced +good. The problem is that the music is entirely dependent on patrons paying for TouchTunes, which results in 10-20 minute spans of no music until someone is guilt tripped into playing music. A solution would be playing music until 9-10 when the bar fills up then switching to TouchTunes only, but to do so before when there maybe 10 people in the place is stupid read more

Great prices on drinks and the food is ok but the big problem here is that the people that work here come here on their off days and nights. So the will completely dominate the bar, dominate the guests, and dominate the service all around. The best dive bar in North Miami area, it's always a blast going there. They have cold cheap beers, pool table, indoor and outdoor lounge, TV's everywhere, and jukebox! What more can someone want. This place is worth the agonizing process of finding a spot to park and the overly thorough pat down when you enter. Billy's is a dive bar with food, tv's, and lots of pool tables. There are bars inside and outside in their patio. The drinks are super cheap. I've never eaten here, but the menu is bar food and seemed to be pretty popular. The bartenders are usually pretty good, considering every time I've been here, this place has been busy, full of a lot of regulars from all walks of life. read more

Great late night spot. It's across the street from the police station so they will arrive quickly if people should act up. Nice outdoor area with TVs. Ali & Brad are awesome. My friend and I had a day of exploration in North Miami and came across Billy's Pub Too (which funnily enough I had bookmarked under "Dive Bars" to check out). We came on a Sunday afternoon, not many people there other than us. There are 4 pool tables, so we played pool (poorly), ordered beers, and took advantage of the TouchTunes jukebox. Eventually we wound up ordering food and had 10 wings, which they very kindly split into 2 flavors for us (hot and lemon pepper) and an order of fries. I was really impressed with the food, especially the wings, as they were super flavorful. The bartenders were really nice and we had a fun afternoon here. I would definitely revisit this bar and order the wings again. read more

Went to watch a soccer game. The Bartender Sunny was incredible. She was friendly, helpful and so attentive. We had a great chat with her and she would be an asset in any establishment. Place is a local bar and good for what it is. The drinks are good and the food is average. We ordered the lunch special ribs and fries $7.50 and they were good. There is place next door, Mr. Cobb's that delivers BBQ so you can eat, smoke, and drink in the same place while circumventing the Florida smoking law. This place is nestled in the middle of a shopping center with parking nearby. They have plenty of beers on tap or any liquor your mind can dream of. Recently came here with a fellow yelper for my first time and I have been back a few times since then. There's A LOT to love about this place. The drinks are dirt cheap. The pool tables are comfortable and affordable, and allows smoking inside for smokers but the place doesn't reek like some other bars. First time I came we ended up playing 5 or 6 rounds of pool, and getting pretty tipsy off of like $20 (I remember picking up 2 drinks for $8). Definitely a place you can come to for a cheap and good time. The music is usually good, depending on who's pick it, and not too loud that it drowns you out. The bartenders I have gotten while there have been extremely friendly and can pour a mean Tom Collins. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed, you can dress up or come in your work boots and pants. Very un-pretentious, not judgy, and a little divey. Everything about this place is comfortable to me from the patrons to the staff the place just makes you feel welcomed. I frequent this place often and today was weird. I went to my car to get my phone after having a few beers and noticing that i didn't have it. The security said she was going to have to charge me $$$ for me going in and out. Since when do they charge $$$ at this bar to go in when you leave? I think management should have a talk with this girl and tell her that is her job to just make sure there is a safe environment and not to worry about if a customer has gone in and out a few times. My friend came by and had the same problem. She tried to use the ATM and it wasn't working so she went to a nearby bank to gey cash and when she came back the same security tried to charge her $$$ to come in Billy's. That's absurd!!! This nice little locals only bar is located in small town downtown of North Miami area. Not many tourists here as the areas only attraction is the MOCA and the small gallery corridor along 125th that is trying to revitalize itself (needs a little more time... imo). Darkened, smokey and smelling of rich pissed Mahogany.. Used to frequent this spot w/ crowd from Barry and J&W in the mid 2000s, but more recently few months back. Good to know that the place still holds that unpretentious locals crowd, late night and weekend drink specials. Good place to shoot pool, you'll most likely be able to have a turn since there's four pool tables and darts for while you wait. The space is sizable so there's place to move around and not feel claustrophobic when it is crowded. I've only ever had the wings here, lemon pepper and I have to say they're a 5 out of 5, might be the best in Miami. You can smoke inside but there's also an outside with a ping pong table. My ONLY gripe with this place is how bad it smells in and around the area near the bathrooms which is why I deducted two stars. Ok, I was driving through on a Sunday. Needed a place to plop down for a few, have a beer and watch some March Madness... Billy's Pub Too seemed to fit the bill so I stopped around back and parked in the free lot behind the bar. Wasn't expecting much. I walked through their outdoor beer garden. I was tempted to just stop there but decided to go inside because it was hot. Glad I did. The inside was much bigger than I expected. A few pool tables dominated one side of the room and the large, long ovular bar dominated the other side. Flittering about inside the oval was Monk. The cutest, sassiest, kickassist bartender you will ever meet. At once genuinely friendly and charming this barkeep made sure everyone's glass was filled and all had smiles on faces. To say I was smitten is an understatement! Happy Hour is just about everyday from 4-midnight. Lots of beer on tap. Food as well, though I didn't have any this time. Having been a North Miami resident for years, Billy's is my local dive bar. While it is a little grimy (and you can't avoid leaving the place smelling like an ashtray), it's not exactly dark and dingy like the stereotypical dive bar. It's actually a fairly bright and the atmosphere is pretty lively on the inside. The crowd is a diverse cross-section from FIU/JWU/Barry college students to 50-something hardcore alcoholics, and many of them are regulars (but don't let that intimidate you - they're a friendly bunch). Billy's is a great place to grab some beers as you can walk in with a $20 bill and walk out sloshed on $1.50 - $3 beers. Billy's has pool tables, darts, and bar-top video games. If you want to get a pool table, though, you'd better get there early. The tables are constantly packed. Also, a lot of hustlers play there, so be careful if someone asks to "make the game interesting". Billy's used to have a kitchen that served adequate bar food, but they recently underwent a re-design, got rid of the kitchen, added a back bar and outsourced the food to Cheeburger Cheeburger. I don't know if that was necessarily an improvement, but it is what it is. read more

The best bar on 125th, in North Miami... hands down! ; ) It's a large divey sports bar with a crazy happy hour. Beers are $2.25. I went there a couple times, but probably wouldn't hit it up too much again. On the other hand it's right next door to the MOCA. So you could get your art fixxe and then mozy over to Billies to get your cheap beer, and cigarette smoke fix all in one night. How's that for a bargain?! read more

I recommend their pull pork sandwich, although my weakness is loaded cheese fries w bacon & lots of sour cream. I asked to make mine w real shredded cheese instead of their usual liquid cheddar cheese and it was divine! The cook even came out to make sure I was satisfied. He is very friendly. Great customer service. My #1 drink is RedBull & VodKa. So note, they make it with some generic energy drink straight from the gun. Awesome environment, the drinks are cheap, good selection, friendly bartenders. I went on a Thursday night and it wasn't too crowded, it got busier the later it got. At about 2am there was a good amount of people. They have a little juke box where you can select songs for 50 cents to a dollar from the app. Pool is $1 and the bartenders can give you quarters. They also have darts that was free and loads of fun. Happy hour isn't going on currently, due to COVID. But normally it's from 4pm to midnight. The people were friendly, except for a couple of creepy dudes here and there and a little bit of an altercation from a guy that didn't understand his boundaries. Ok it's a dive bar & it's a bit sketchy but you know very well that's what you signed up for coming over here. It's got a few wholesome bones though so don't get intimidated. It's open super late and the beers are super cheap. It's always happy hour (at least every time I've came) and it's in the middle of the cute strip in NoMi so there's plenty of well-lit parking. I always grab a beer and light up a smoke which is rarely allowed inside a bar nowadays. Obviously, it's not a glamorous spot but it doesn't pretend to be either. It's right on West Dixie Hwy & NW 125th Street so it's definitely in the middle of the neighborhood. The crowd is harmless & the bartenders are actually nice. Decided to patronize this neighborhood hot spot last night it was hip and exciting. I must say though this was my first time trying the BBQ ribs and chicken it was slightly spicy and rich but it was smooth on the palette I really enjoyed it. It came with crinkle cut fries and went nicely with my Bacardi and coke. I feel like such a rookie since it's been a while since I've had a real drink lol. Enjoyed myself among the usual crowd conversating with the bartender's by name. They have pool tables to keep you entertained while you're here and poker tables, nothing fancy but fun. I'll be back! However I felt a bit rushed my the bartender to close our tab before she went home for the evening and the restroom while it was tidy I found it to be quite tiny. read more

Billys is probably my favorite of all the North Miami dives. The bathrooms are torn up and graffiti, the bartenders usually ignore you, and the whole place smells like smoke. Here you'll see a lot of the 'local flavor', dressed in anything from pajamas to a club dress. Basically this is the go to spot for a cheap drink when you just don't care. It's certainly not a 5 star place, but really, who wants a 5 star dive bar? I have been a happy customer for years, and will be for years to come. read more
