I would guess that 90% of negative reviews just boil down to one thing: feeling respected and valued as a customer. This review is no different I suppose. I sat at the bar for the Colombia-Ghana game. One of the three bartenders was sweet and attentive. The other two looked like they didn't want to be there, and they act like they're doing you a favor by getting a drink or whatever. Zero smiles. Also, I had to catch their eye to ask for a menu, to get a drink, to order food, to get water, etc. when the food came, with no napkin, no one seemed to notice, or perhaps not to care. Last evening we had dinner at this location. We hadn't been here in a while. We were surprised that a few things had changed since we were last here. I'll start with the positive first. The vibe is still casual and comfortable. The bright green string lights are a plus and liven up the decor. There are plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports. The bar area is still a happy place. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. The hostess was friendly and did greet us. However, the quality of service has gone down and it was disappointing to experience it. To begin with, there were no utensils at our table. Neither the hostess nor our server noticed that. After our order arrived to our table, we still were without forks and knives. There were no servers around to ask and we hadn't seen our server, Estrella, in a while. Since no-one checked on us, my daughter had to get up and go into the bar and try to find someone to help. When the utensils were brought out to us, we noticed that they were not the same quality that they used to have. These were low quality and were poorly made and uncomfortable to the touch (left indentations on my fingers and palm). The next problem was that after we ate our main courses (one was the rack of ribs), Estrella came to drop off the dessert but neglected to remove the stack of dirty napkins and plates from the table. So we had to eat our dessert with a mess next to us. She never asked if we needed more water so that was that. A male server ended up cleaning off our table. I'm hoping the good service we used to get at this location will resurface. We had ordered 2 of the Joe's Soecials: the Prime Rib with baked potato, salad, and garlic rolls for me, and the Rack of Ribs and fries, rolls, and salad for my daughter. Both meals came with choice of house wine: red, pink or white. We chose red and they were ok. The meals were good and seasoned just right. The prices were very reasonable. Parking is free and close to the front entrance. We will probably stick to the other Flanigan locations in the future (Surfside and Hallandale were always great). read more

We decided to do takeout for Memorial Day and that was the best thing. The restaurant was packed with people but our order was done on time and the staff was friendly and attentive for pick up. I ordered the 1/2 ribs and shrimp combo with a baked (butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon bits) and a side of coleslaw. Everything was delicious and ribs were tender to point of falling off the bone. The bbq sauce is so good and the shrimp was good with a well seasoned breading. Food was good , service was great by Paris ....until we were bother and harassed by a security guy who was super rude to us thinking that we had liquor at the table...we will NEVER go back to the north Miami location, we had never been so disrespected , that was a terrible experience since we are such good costumers of this place. This is my second time at this location and the service was not great the first time, but this time it was really not good. This rating is solely for the food.
