Had potential for the vibes. We went to support our promoter friend: 1 - the original DJ had an accident so they had to wait for another DJ who was almost an hour away. Then when he arrived, he could not read the room on the energy of the music. 2 - I ordered a 12 piece lemon pepper - they arrived looking like lollipops/ vegan wings. Decided to give this place another shot. Luckily found outside parking again This security guard Tony already had better vibes, laughing & joking with us while still thoroughly checking us. Got there and it was empty but that was our point so we could get seating. There were complimentary drinks going from 7 pm to 10 pm with well drinks! Our server was also the bartender (Jess) and let me tell you she really took care of us. She kept the drinks coming. Nothing was watered down. She was attentive and a sweetheart. First timer and was looking forward to going but I was thrown off with the parking situation. $40 Vip, $30 to park in strip mall front parking spots, $20 to self park behind the Pawn Shop. These prices are truly ridiculous, very discouraging. As if it's a South Beach club venue. Smh...parking cost definitely disgusted me. Bring extra money because valet prices change. Carpool if you can or Uber. It's located in a small strip mall plaza and they have taken over the few parking spots. 2 businesses have signage identifying parking for their customers and another put chairs to prevent parking. That is definitely understandable. The lot behind the Pawn Shop is where patrons previously would park for free, but not no mo!! Security meets you at the entrance and checks your bag and person with no mask of course. Best to make reservations because the host is not going to problem solve. She said seating was full, but I could wait at the bar. As we stood and looked around there is limited seating but 2 tables were open. After asking her about the open tables she advised they were reserved and reservations are held for 15 minutes after appointed time. Well as I went to get a refund on my parking, my friend had me return because her friend was able to get us seated. Clearly, if you know the right person tables come available. We finally ordered: 1 shrimp and grits and 2 breakfast chicken tacos. The menu is very limited. Both platters were good but small portions. 4 shrimp with 3 calamari rings and a bowl of grits with cheese on top of the grits; it wasn'thot just barely warm. Its not the standard shrimp and grits that's covered with gravy, nope. The tacos were good as well however, you can't request any items to be left off. My friend asked for the salsa to be placed on the side well that was refused. All fried foods are fried in the same fryer, no good for those with seafood allergies. Well my friend had a reaction, she asked for the manager and explained that the menu does not state that fried food are cooked in the same fryer in case of any food allergies. It's reasonable to provide that information so patrons can be informed. Well the manager was not apologetic nor sympathetic. He said she should have asked, offered her fruits, and left. Where's the care for your customers? Any who, the waitress "Reina" made up for it by understanding my friend's situation and got her some benadryl. That was truly appreciated. They offer unlimited mimosas with different flavors , but they were a bit too sweet for me. Cost is on the high end when compared to other venues that offer unlimited mimosas. It ends at 4pm. It's a bit dark so you really can't see everything that's in your meal. If you need to see your meal use your flashlight. There are no prices on the food menu so you have to ask the server if you're budgeting. I'm glad to see new businesses in the community but it's definitely not a spot for regular visits. I've been to Da Cave several times during the week for Happy Hour, R&B Thursday, and other days. But this was my first time trying their brunch. Any great brunch should start off with bottomless mimosas and Da Cave did not disappoint. There were a few fruity variations and I decided to go with the pineapple passionfruit mimosa (it was so good!). The waitress made sure that our glasses were filled. I love getting chicken and waffle for brunch so I decided to try the lobster and waffle. Since the kitchen did not have waffles, it was substituted for brioche French toast. The lobster was fried to perfection and seasoned well. It was pretty tasty. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and she loved it. It was full of flavor and filling. I then ordered the mahi tacos with French fries and that's always tasty. If you are in south Florida, you should definitely try this place out. read more

After a not so pleasant first time experience my friend and I decided to come back and give it another try. First off if you're a lady sandals with no backs aren't allowed for entry even though there's nothing about a dress code on their site. Thankfully after a long back and forth I was allowed in. Temp checks upon entry which was great. Able to get a table with no minimum which was great in regards to our previous experience ( No table or reservation= no point in being there.) Our bartender Sherelle was great. Pineapple Express and jalapeño martini were both bangers on the menu and will have you feeling great. The atmosphere is inviting and a good time. I've been a few times for other ppls events. The food was pretty good. I can recall having tacos. And as a hookah head, I enjoyed the flavors. I believe the nights I came they were RnB themed nights which I love because that good ole loving music is my speed. A few cons: be prepared to pay $20-$40 for parking either in front of the building (higher priced of course) or along the back of the building on the road near the highway which you'll have a slight walk to the entrance. It's a small lot as well so keep that in mind. Depending on how many folks you'll be going with you may want to consider sharing a Lyft or carpooling. Personally, the music is waaaay too loud. I get it is giving club atmosphere but I see it advertised as a lounge so I'd expect some level of volume on the music but I can't hear myself think. Again I get the environment I've come to and love the music, so I usually dip in and out because I can't take the volume. Hookah is a bit pricey but overalll good flavors. Depend long on what you usually spend or like to spend on hookah factor that you'll be spending somewhere like $45 or more. Overall it's not a bad place to go, just know what you're getting into beforehand so you can prepare. read more

Pretty cool little lounge. First time we went was for a Jon B appearance. We wanted to make sure we had a place to sit (old people problems), so we made a reservation - which requires buying a bottle. We bought a bottle of champagne and finished it before Jon B showed up, so we were asked to give up our seats. I did let them know I would buy another bottle to be able to keep my seat, and they were able to accommodate us, but they had to move us around 3 times to figure out how to make it work. It was very nice of them to accommodate us, but I really wish they would have been more clear when we made the reservation, or at the very least asked us if we wanted to purchase another bottle before agreeing to give up our seats. The bathroom was clean. The security team and bartenders were fabulous. Jon B sang 2 whole songs and then dipped (he didn't even sing Pretty Girl), but I won't hold that against the establishment. They do have a strict dress code, which is nice to go out and see everyone dressed up. The crowd is older (at least on the night we went which was an R&B night). Wow! I went to the soft opening and the vibe, atmosphere, food and drinks were all 10 out of 10! This place reminds me of the club from the TV show power! My overall experience was just bad & i had high hopes everything was really all over the place, we were waiting for a waitress to take our order for awhile until they had a hookah girl taking orders, which needless to say she seemed clueless, as well as another girl i asked to help us, the $6 dollar margaritas were sour, we tried to order some of their $2 tacos & some wings those literally took i kid you not an hour & some change to come out just for it to be cold! This is new and upcoming business. When we came in the vibe and the atmosphere was great. The issue was with the communication. We were told they charged 200 for the table's and you can sit at the bar without that charge. When walking to the bar the server told us we can sit at the table tops. This is when the confusion started. We were not told that would be a charge of 200.00 if we wanted to stay at the table top for the remainder of the night.. We ordered several cocktails and just about the whole food menu. We happily created a tab over 400.00 and we ordered a hookah also. At around 7-8 we were told we would have to give up the table top or pay 200.00 for the table top. Really!!! We are spending well over the amount needed to have this table. Mind you we still have food and hookah that is going to be set up with no place to sit. We were already waiting over an hour for them to bring the hookah by the way.. Since the vibe, drinks & food was good we didn't complain about that. I asked to speak with the management about this. He advised yes that is the policy. We advised this was our first time here and we have spent at this point over 500 with them because we were still ordering drinks. I felt this was a bad business move. I noticed at the other table's few people purchased more than that one bottle for 200. He was very accommodating to our concern he allowed us to stay at the table and we advise we would be leaving before 11. Da Cave management please Consider changing the policy of $200 for the table/bottle you made more money off my group of 3 on food and cocktails we exceeded your requirement.
