Did not like it. Overpriced menu, inattentive Crew, the food was just okay but again way too overpriced. The place looks much better on the photos than in reality. There are better water-side restaurants that all come together nicely. We were brought in as part of a promotion, but the promotional price was not honored. The water-front space in the backyard is tiny and the tables and the whole setup looks messy, with not much space or a view. There is NO enjoyable day light but grin light instead in the backyard. The live music did not matter at all after all of this. I just wanted to go home after 25 minutes, but I was with the group. I am perplexed on how this place makes money with all of these issues listed. This place has a serious identity crisis. If I could give this place a ZERO, I would.
Just tried Lique for the first time, let's get into it. First I waited 20 min before someone even came to my table to start my order. It's was a Friday and outside had plenty of people but inside was empty. 2nd let's get into the food, the charcoal skirt steak DO NOT GET IT, no seasoning it was awful! The grilled octopus again DO NOT GET IT, no seasoning just a bad octopus. Truffle fries- Amazing Now let's put it like this, view and drinks are amazing. The mezcal specialty drink was really good. And to finish it our waiter, every time I called him it was as if I was bothering him. I'm sorry but it's a great spot for vibes and drink but my experience.... 4.5 out of 10.
Now I would start off my stating the ambiance of restaurant is nice looks like a small gallery of art. Music is played their however it is techno music and if you like techno music you will be fine. Service was quick I can say that now I cannot remember the waiter name but he came by to check on us as we were a table of 9. Here's what you've been waiting for the review on the food. Let me start by saying it is expensive and I mean expensive and portions are small. The truffle fries were too much truffle and greasy so the ketchup was needed lol. Next, is the dynamite shrimp I've had better it was just a sauce to me. Now the seafood trio with the pickle onions omg was the best thing me and my husband had. We was made we should have order two and took the shrimp back lol. We also had a pitcher of raspberry passion was good. But overall expensive was 2.5 bigger portions , they charge you for about everything. Yes with what we ordered the total was $121 plus $18% so do the math and didn't leave full. This place in my opinion gave me housewives vibes lunch date with girls place.
I had a disappointing experience at Lique in North Miami Beach. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet the service was unwelcoming and strictly business. Prices were outrageously high, for example, a Casamigos Blanco drink cost $31.50. The food portions were tiny, the food came out cold, and the drinks were terrible. They also sneak in a $35.40 service charge, which isn't shown when paying. I tipped an extra $40 in cash, not realizing the service charge was already included because they failed to mention it which I think is illegal and it didn't show up on the tablet. This place is a scam. There are far better options with great food, fair pricing, and excellent customer service. I do not recommend it. *** ask for a printed receipt before you pay your bill so you can see your bill in full
Excellent service ! Great atmosphere! Amazing view! And very clean ladies room It's going to be my favourite lounge in North Miami for sure!
First gotta say came here for my sister's birthday dinner. And as for the ambiance of this place it's very nice; like a picturesque garden by the water. If I was rating this place on just the appearance it would probably be a five star. But unfortunate for them, it got the rating it has because of everything else. Food wise for what they charge; that's a crime in most states. And crazy thing is I kinda knew about the prices before I walked in but still thought maybe the quality or taste would "justify" the price. But no it was mediocre. I had the hibachi rice, basic and bland would be how I would described it. My sister had the skirt steak and she even said it wasn't all that. Service was also average at best. Sometimes it's just be the little things. I'll say our waiter wasn't bad per se but my sister asked for a straw for her drink. And let just say we still waiting on it. I had to go and get one myself from the bar. Like if this place is trying to be a luxury type of place, I get it. But it misses the point when the food and service isn't hitting on all cylinders.
Excellent place to start the evening. Food and drinks were top notch. Service was great. Thanks for a great night!
We came to Lique on a whim while visiting Miami. The atmosphere is very millennial, influencer. However, there was a good party vibe, which started around 11pm. We sat inside to eat, although we had a 9:30pm reservation, there was a wait for the patio, which is where most of the partying and DJ was happening. We were sat quickly and given menus, this is the true example of Miami pricing! Cocktails were $24-$26 each, draft beers served in wine glasses were $10 each. The food itself was also expensive. Almost immediately after placing our drink and appetizer order our waiter disappeared. We finally had to ask someone for help at least 30 minutes later (by then we had received drinks but no appetizers) - we were told we were getting a different waiter. We put in our food order and waited. Based on the poor service, I didn't have high expectations for the food. Many of the waiters seemed pre-occupied, wrestling and fooling around with one another and catering to a few large parties who were getting bottle service, etc. on the patio. When our dinner came (about an hour after sitting) we had still never received our appetizers, so we cancelled them. My partner and I shared the beet salad ($21) and the fried red snapper ($65), our friends had the snapper, the braised short ribs ($42) and the salmon ($40). I will say, the food was really tasty and we would have liked to have tried the appetizers too. At one point, after ordering our beers, the order got mixed up and we didn't receive what we ordered, when I tried to speak with the woman who brought the drinks to our table she was dismissive and kind of rude. I had to track down our waiter who addressed the issue for us. The restaurant had a photographer coming around and taking photos which was cool, she then came around with framed, printed photos, selling for $20 each. Honestly, this and the hookah (mentioned later) we're the best deals of the night. As the DJ began playing and it turned more into a party scene than a restaurant, we decided to do a round of tequila shots. We ordered 5 tequila shots and were given a bill of $140 for the shots, we were drinking Don Julio, not even a high end tequila, we were kind of shocked that tequila shots were ($28 each - WILD). We did get a hookah, which was $60 and worth it. Additionally, we were able to move outside and sit by the water towards the end of our time there which made the experience more worth it. However, when it was time to leave we COULD NOT find our waiter to pay our tab. I ended up having to ask multiple people who were dismissive, finally I saw our waiter walking back in the front door to the restaurant, like he had been gone, and requested the check. The hookah was billed separately and again, I had to do some leg work just to get the bill paid. If you are looking to SPEND $$$ in Miami, this is the place to do it. However, be warned that the smallest things will cost a lot of money. The party vibe was great, but idk that it was worth a $600 bill for 5 of us at the end of the night.
VIEWS ARE AMAZING! Ambiance is to die for and the decor makes you feel like you're in a completely different country. 5 stars there! Offer cigars for purchase as well. HOWEVER, the food is why I gave this a two star. as well as the service! Service - our waitress was never around took about 20 minutes to bring out the bottomless mimosas and I actually had to go to them to grab our check and return some food. It could've been that it opened at 12 and we were there at 130 but the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. FOOD- met with a friend during lunch on a Tuesday. She spoke very highly of this place as she comes here often but for dinner. They had an executive lunch menu which was $28 for a starter, main entree, and a dessert. PRETTY GOOD PRICE! My boyfriend decided to go with this option so he ordered - the potato soup as a starter - 4 stars - the pesto gnocchi pasta (no meat) - 2 stars (had to send my friends gnocchi back because it just wasn't good. - sorbet for dessert (which we didn't get) I ordered the Churrasco which was really tender! 5 stars I can say this was the best part! It came with a side of grilled garlic head (not sure who wants to walk around with garlic breath) and braised yuca. Yuca was tasteless and cold. TRUST ME OPT OUT OF THE YUCA. I NOTE - THEY OFFER BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS EVERYDAY DURING LUNCH 12 PM - 4PM and they also offer cigars for purchase. And it seems to turn into some type of club or lounge at night.
I couldn't ask for anything more! The food was extremely delicious and the service was as well. I went with a group of ladies and the food was served home style which worked out perfectly. Between the salads, oysters, cauliflower steak, decor, intracoastal water views service everything was phenomenal! I would come back here again!
This place is so beautiful. We made a reservation for right after their opening time. We sat outside. They have a reasonable brunch menu. We decided to order from brunch menu and one appetizer. However, the service was so slow. We were busy chatting but it took a little over an hour for us to get our food. Also, the server didn't bring food all together. Food was delicious but you really need to be patient here.

Lique Miami has a beautiful atmosphere, especially if you sit outside by the water. The décor is really nice, and the waterfront seating is definitely the highlight. I recommend making a reservation because it gets crowded. The food was just okay and could definitely use a little more seasoning. It was also pretty pricey for what you get. The drinks were good, and they offer hookah service, but it starts around $60+, which is something to keep in mind. The biggest disappointment was the service. For the amount you spend on food, drinks, and gratuity, I expected much better. The young lady at the front wasn't welcoming at all and gave the impression that she didn't want to be there. A warmer greeting would have made a big difference. Overall, I'd give Lique Miami another try during happy hour, but I hope the service improves because the location and ambiance have a lot of potential. read more

Beef Carpaccio there was a lot of oil, I could not even finish it, although I was very hungry!! the photo does not convey how much oil was there New York steak the meat tasted undersalted (like lean) not worth the money that we paid Burrata salad a lot of garlic and there were a lot of not fresh tomatoes! There was also not enough salt and there was a lot of oil the waiter is very friendly and accommodating! The hookah went bad in 30 minutes, but we asked us to replace it and they changed it to a new one beautiful interior and cozy atmosphere, they also gave us blankets! read more

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Very disappointed with our experience here. Our waiter was not very attentive. There were multiple times we had to get the attention of other waiters in order to get anything. They will include 20% gratuity and then say it's not technically for them and guilt trip you into tipping MORE by standing over you while you complete the transaction. He was not attentive at all until we asked for our checks and during the tip out process. I ordered the steak for $75 and this was what I got. Such a waste and not very fulfilling. The only good thing about this place was the beautiful view. You're better off next door with better service most likely. read more

$43 for 2 watered down drinks..... I found an old receipt from a time when I visited this establishment. Not only did they charge $3 for "rocks" which is ICE...literally charged me $3 for cubes of water lmao. They charged $7 for "other fees" that were not detailed whatsoever on the receipt. No idea what the fee charge was for. The people running this establishment are scammers, and the bartenders make weak drinks. What a rip off. read more
Arrived at Lique for a birthday dinner. Outside patio seating was nice but it was very humid tonight. The big fans they have was literally blowing everything away so we decided to dine inside. Elmer our server was superb! It was a party of 10 but some guests showed up pretty late and Elmer was still able to tend to them and get their food out with ease. Place got pretty hot inside so be careful how you dress. It was a Saturday night so it was pretty packed alongside the patio doors open place got really humid inside. Servers made sure we had plenty water. Ambiance was nice although the music was blaring and we couldn't hear each other talk. Dancers with lights performed for a little while which was entertaining. Food was actually much better than I had expected. Calamari although not on the menu (but they still had it) was seasoned to perfection. The sauce it came with wasn't good at all but it wasn't needed. Oysters were small but delicious. Dynamite shrimp was exactly that. Hibachi rice topped with steak was really good. No complaints on the food. Although the same type of music was blaring all night when the server brung out the cake for us they added sparklers, violinist, and a hip birthday song that we liked. Customer service was awesome I'll definitely go back. read more

Chic and upscale dining experience in Miami I had my 30th birthday dinner celebrations at the restaurant and I don't regret it! I thank my husband tremendously for this recommendation. I suggest everyone try there at least once! Food: The food was delicious. Everything I had or tasted was great. Nothing I had was mediocre to be honest. We also had on the table that's not pictured: Spicy Ahi Tuna Poke (phenomenal), Korean style wings (delicious), fresh fries whole red snapper (seasoned well, just too much fried for my liking), pan seared Bronzino (delicious). Ambiance: This place is soooo chic and modern. The decor is beautiful. I went at night so i can only talk for the ambiance at night. Who doesn't like a restaurant that is sitting on water! I got great birthday pics there. Staff: the staff was very accommodating of my needs. I had a table of 15 persons outdoors and everything went smoothly from ordering drinks and food to the wait for the food and drinks. I ended up having 2 unexpected additional guests and they were able to organize additional tables immediately to accommodate the change. I cannot recall my waiter's name but he was truly a pleasure. read more

Horrible service was seated at a table that we weren't given a choice to sit. We were placed next to hookah smokers one smoker kept purposely blowing smoke on my food. When addressed with manger, he said there's nothing he could do but only offer another drink or desert. First and last time there. Unfortunately paying 65 dollars for a snapper that smokers kept blowing their smoke on! read more

Can i smoke a cigar there?
Yes, you can. They have a cigar and hookah bar right next to it that offers table service to Lique customers. Idk if you can bring your own cigar but I don't see why not.
