So when the second nail broke off I just put a press on on it. Since it was homecoming week I couldn't get in anywhere to fix it. The pedicure was not good either. Barely used the pumice so feet looked exactly the same as before. The gel pedicure also cracked on the side and now my nail is damaged and partially missing. The gel job on toes was not good either. He kept taking glasses on and off to see and I really don't think he could see what he was doing. Both had ear pods in the entire time. She was watching a show and had to keep backing it up if she missed anything when she looked away at my nails.

The acrylic was set really far back from my cuticle and two weeks of grow out looked more like four weeks of grow out. I'm not easy on my nails and some of the chrome began to chip at the tips of the nails. I went out of my comfort zone with these nails and aside from the acrylic being so far from my cuticle and the nails not having much of an apex, they were nice and the nail tech was also very sweet. It was the first time I've had a nail tech talk to me while doing my nails and be friendly and kind. She asked about where I'm from, how far away I live, if I liked it here (since I just moved here). If this review was just about her I'd probably give four stars. I came back two weeks later hoping to get the same nail tech, but she was busy with another client and I was a walk in. This time I saw an older male nail tech. I asked for a fill and the same shape, but a little shorter, a deep french tip, and chrome powder. I was charged $75 for the fill, but I paid $80 for a new set two weeks before. He initially only put one coat of pink nail polish which was very sheer and was going to move onto the French tip. I asked for another coat of the pink and I'm not sure if he couldn't hear me or couldn't understand me, but after asking three times he understood and did a second coat. The French tip was good, but when I got in the car and finally could have a closer and longer look at my nails, they were all completely different shapes. One pinky is almond and one is oval for example. To top it all off, there was gel polish all over my skin on every single nail. I don't know what's worse, the gel all over my skin or being charged nearly the same price as a brand new set for a fill. I don't think I'll be going back. The pictures attached show the two weeks of grow out and the charges to my bank account. I didn't think to take a picture of the gel on my skin prior to picking it off unfortunately.

I went to Beauty First on Dodge Street in Omaha and was unable to locate the product. The first girl helping me didn't know anything about the products. The second seemed to know something about the products and told me it was discontinued. She ended up recommending to me this oily Firewall product that doesn't work and talked me into renewing my Beauty First yearly enrollment. I wasted $40.00 at this place. I found my Matrix Mega Sleek spray on amazon. Beauty first is a joke. You got me this time so relish it because I'm never going back. Too bad you don't care about your customers. I knew I should have just left the store immediately when I didn't find my product. Buyers beware: If they tell you something is discontinued, what they really mean is they don't sell it at Beauty first anymore, that doesn't mean the manufacturer discontinued the item. Your salespeople should choose their words more carefully, so they appear knowledgeable and honest especially in today's economy. 6-13-2023
