We've walked past this place many times, but today, after reading some positive Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a try. We liked the vibe, it looks like a classic diner venue. We were in the mood for a late brunch and were focused on their all day breakfast items. We selected: * Corned Beef Hash & Eggs $18.49 Two eggs your way, house corned beef, house home fries, and toast. * Ham Benedict $18.49 Two poached eggs atop Portuguese sweet bread smothered with house hollandaise sauce. Served with house home fries. Service was fast and friendly, and in a short time, our food arrived. The Eggs Benedict was really tasty, the eggs perfectly cooked, the hollandaise was nicely viscous with a lemon kick, complimented by a thick slice of ham. It was accompanied by "real" breakfast potatoes, sliced potatoes lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I'd order this any time! Next up, the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs. The two eggs were nicely prepared, with runny yolks just the way I like them, and the same potatoes as aforementioned, were excellent. That leaves us with the hash, which I wish they left in the kitchen. It was terrible. It looked like some roughly mashed russet potatoes, with tiny bits of corned beef tossed in them. The corned beef was more like the size of bacon bits. It was a dry and unappealing dish, I have no idea what the recipe was going for here. I usually love hash, which is typically a moist and decadent dish. But in this instance I kept thinking, "where's the beef"? That said, the benedict, potatoes, and eggs were all excellent. So overall, a 3.5 rounded it up to 4 stars for this visit.

This place has 5-star food with a very nice, but very slow moving wait staff. My weekday experience was more of a 5, my weekend experience was more of a 2.5 so since the food was worth it I'll give them a 4 even though this is another place that runs out of waffles at 10:30 AM on a Sunday. The chicken and waffles were great, the eggs Benedict, homemade Italian sausage and potatoes were great, the traditional pancake breakfast was great, the biscuits and gravy, not so much. The gravy was very thin and not a good flavor at all so maybe avoid this.

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but unfortunately the food was mediocre and they were significantly understaffed. Our waitress was very kind but it was clear that more staff was needed. Two groups of people who were waiting for a table ended up walking out because of the wait. The food cost and quality were not aligned. I had the chocolate chip pancakes which were just okay and the breakfast potatoes had no flavor. The coffee was bitter and $3.50 a cup. I would have given this a lower rating but our waitress was so nice she made up for it. Again, I wish I could give a better rating but I don't think I would go back here.

I stopped by here when I was downtown for a work meeting. I ordered take out - I asked the waitress for what she recommended - something that was good but could be made quickly. She recommended the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and it was so good! I loved the bun and the chicken was lightly pan fried and the sauces were good. The fries were okay. The food was ready in 10 min. Unfortunately, their Apple Pay / tap machine wasn't working so I couldn't use my virtual gift card to pay. The server was so kind & the food was good so I would def return when I'm in the area!

"Bells will ring, ting-a-ling-a-ling Ting-a-ling-a-ling and you'll sing, "Vita bella" (Dean Martin) The Omni has no breakfast dining option, just a room service delivery that would have run $40 or so for the two of us. So instead we went for a walk on Monday morning and eventually stumbled onto NicoBella, and man oh man, were we glad we found our way there. It was GREAT. The interior is a lot bigger than it seems from the outside. It has two dining rooms and a bar. The decor is quite pretty -a sea of black and white checked table cloths, ceramic tile, and lampshades. And the walls were covered with very nice paintings and prints and all sorts of decorations. Hats off to their design team -the place looks great. Our server was Jennie and she was a delight. She seemed to be the only one working the front of the house and she was a whirlwind of friendly, smiling, efficient activity. Our two coffees were excellent ($2.50 each). I ordered a $13 Downtown Wrap and my wife chose a $6 Two Egg Breakfast with toast and hash browns. My Wrap was amazing. Two scrambled eggs, ground sausage, peppers and onions, diced bacon and cheese served with hash browns. I didn't even eat the wrap, I scooped everything out and still had plenty to enjoy. What a feast. Our bill was $27 before tip for a freshly cooked sit down breakfast in a gorgeous and very comfortable restaurant with fantastic service. We could not have been happier with NicoBella.

Really cool atmosphere inside! Unfortunately, the food was just okay, and the service left a lot to be desired. On the plus side, they do serve breakfast all day, which is a nice option if you're craving morning favorites

We stopped in on a Sunday morning for a quick breakfast before heading out for our 8 hour drive down south. They had several large tables but was still able to be seated for a party of 4. A very warm atmosphere with a catering service. Our food came out fresh and was delicious. A pleasant experience from service to the food, we now have a go-to spot when we visit the next time. Enjoy!

I stopped by here while I was visiting Providence for Comic Con. It was a recommendation by the hotel I was staying at. I walked in and was greeted by the waitress. She was very friendly and professional. I ordered an omelette for breakfast and it was very good. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. If you're visiting Downtown Providence, give this place a try.

Empty tables and not much help from the hostess station. NOT a good start.

Waited 40 minutes for breakfast. The food was all wrong and cold. Went to talk to a dude who claimed to be the manager and he said we are the table that it happened to today...... Lucky us as on my daughters birthday. Omelets had whatever they decided to throw inside them and one had meat in it and we have a vegetarian that it was served to. Ordered Swiss and the cheese was definitely not Swiss. Again, they throw whatever they want in an omelet and put it in front of you. Two sodas were flat, chocolate milk warm. Should have known. The "manager" said the server would be the one paying the check out of HER pocket even though she said that they were comping the check. Manager was the one and again said SHE would be paying for it. HIS QUOTE "I AM NOT HERE TO FEED YOUR FAMILY." That was absolutely uncalled for and this 40 year restaurant veteran needs to check his attitude at the door and maybe find a job that is not customer facing. This place is an utter disgrace and I beg you to help shut it down. This type of service is absolutely unacceptable and has no right serving patrons. Server said she was taking care of the check and then when we left her a generous tip and walked out the manager chased us outside and told us we were skipping the check. Are you serious?? We settled the check after they found the right one and checked a fee to use a credit card!! This is a restaurant and it is not posted ANYWHERE on their menu. Is that legal?? We found out the "managers" name is Robert Kennedy. He doesn't belong in hospitality.

How is this place not packed a Saturday morning? The service was hospitable, the artwork was lively, and best of all were the breakfast options! I had corned-beef benedict and it was an absolute treat. Others with me had biscuits and gravy, the breakfast wrap, and 2-egg plate. We all enjoyed our meals. Also, the salt and pepper shakers are so unique.

NicoBellla has ample seating and has a diner vibe. The decor is all abstract art which adds a specific flair to the place. The menu is pretty large, and breakfast is served all day. We had a party of 9 come around lunch time, so I do not fault the waitress at all for any minor mistakes. The food I give 3.5 stars to though. The sugar waffle is great, the French fries were good, but the rest was sub par. The burgers were very over cooked and not really "smash" burgers. The garlic aioli needed more garlic.. The Portuguese roll was good though for a bun. They also did not have any pickles available. The home fries and hash browns were both on the soggy side rather than crispy.

Waited in the restaurant for 2 hours on Saturday evening with no food served. Not even an appetizer. This restaurant was hosting jazz music outside, and strongly believe it was the wrong priority with payroll especially when it seemed like there were no staff in the kitchen. It felt like our entire party inside was disregarded. I have never had such a poor dine in experience ever in my life. Very much disappointed and do not recommend this restaurant.

For this visit, some people in my group ordered the matcha waffle: matcha silky cream, chocolate drizzle, topped with fresh strawberries, while others including myself got the ube waffle: ube silky cream, drizzled condensed milk, and topped with fresh blueberries, bananas, raspberries, and coconut shavings. By default, these were on the liege waffle which is personally my favorite since it has a crispy and caramel like consistency. The ube cream was very creamy and smooth. The condensed milk was a great touch, as it acted like a syrup. The fresh fruits helped balance out the sweetness. The matcha one was also good. It reminded me a little of the dubai chocolate combination, mostly because of the colors. I've been seeing them add more and more drinks to the menu - mostly ones that resemble the waffle flavors. The prices have not changed much and they're still reasonable for the quality and quantity. There is plenty of seating in the lower area of their store. It is off of Thayer street so depending on the day, parking can be tough.

I ordered the crème brûlée coffee, and while it wasn't bad, it mostly just tasted like regular coffee without that rich, dessert like flavor you'd hope for. On the other hand, the tiramisu latte was actually really delicious. Honestly, I wish I could order a whole cake of just the tiramisu, it was the highlight for me. You definitely get more cake than the coffee, but it worked in its favor and tasted much better than the crème brûlée drink. It was nice to try, especially since everything looks so aesthetically pleasing, but it feels more like a place you visit for the vibe rather than a go to coffee run.

All to say, this place is very popular. I was a fan of the minimalist interior design with some wood accents, neutral colors, some overheard lights, natural lighting coming through, and the black ceiling. My friend ordered a mimosa and since I don't drink, he requested the waiter to have the bartender make me something non-alcoholic. He was really considerate and asked if I wanted something bitter, sweet, fruity etc. and if I am opposed to any fruit flavors since I picked fruit - I felt heard. He came back with something that tasted citrusy and maybe some pear in there. It wasn't anything too unique, but it was the thought that counts. The menu is unique in that there's one of everything you'd imagine would be on a brunch / breakfast menu. There aren't variations of anything. Since it was my first time there, I went with the classic ($18). It brought eggs, bacon, sausage, croissant, and home fries. Instead of home fries, I asked for truffle fries instead. After about 15-20 minutes, the food came out. My eggs were cooked perfectly. I think I had higher expectations from the croissant, so I was a little disappointed. I thought it would be cut in half and toasted to a crispy perfection but it was definitely store bought, toasted as a whole, and a little dry. The sausage and bacon were really good. The sausage was thick, juicy, a hint of spice, and great in flavor. The bacon was thick cut, savory, and crispy. I am glad I asked for truffle fries. They were crispy and hot. Our waiter was great throughout and the restaurant is clean and inviting. In the summer I do think they have tables outside. Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends but luckily there are many side streets.

We were seated quickly and greeted by our server almost immediately, which set a great tone. The drink menu was a standout. We ordered the lavender lemonade, Carrotita, Bloody Mary, and coffee, and all of them were excellent. The coffee was especially good. For food, we ordered the 3-stack pancakes, avocado toast, and a traditional Benedict with chicken (which is offered on the menu). The Benedict, once corrected, was really enjoyed by our friend. The food execution was inconsistent though. The avocado toast seemed to use packaged avocado squeezed on top and lacked flavor overall. We were initially brought French toast instead of pancakes, and the Benedict arrived with coleslaw instead of being prepared traditionally. The staff corrected the Benedict, but when the pancakes finally arrived, they were raw dough inside and unfortunately inedible. That said, the atmosphere and drinks were enjoyable enough that we'd probably give The Patio another try -- maybe earlier in the day and with a smaller order to see if the kitchen experience is more consistent.
