The eggs! Perfectly white!
Brandy B.

This is one of our go to places for breakfast on the weekends. Small, clean, fast service, and cash only. Staff is friendly. The food? You will not find a place that makes PERFECT eggs... like perfect! Oh you want over easy? Beautifully made perfectly white, the yolks is superb, no kidding. I'm telling you whoever the cook is in the back, I envision him going through 5 or 6 eggs for every order, until each time they are perfect. I still dont think you understand these eggs are like magazine quality.... they dont look real! Omelets? Same way, magazine quality. Big, loaded, hot. I'm a little sad to say that the omelets are so good, I havent had anything else, and we've been coming here for quite some time! The only thing I am not a fan of here is their bacon. Now that being said, HELLLOOO, my last name is Bacon so I think I know my bacon. The bacon here is very very thin. What else can I say, it was bacon, don't get me wrong, it tasted fine, but it was paper thin. I know that it's all about the dollar, I get it. The eggs here, more than make up for the lack of bacon.

You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant. Perhaps Arlo Guthrie exaggerated just a bit when he sang those lines but you can get a pretty good omelet here. Also pretty good pancakes, good sandwiches, good strong coffee and friendly service. Occasionally some unexpected weird stuff too. Alice's Restaurant is a small local place. Unpretentious, unassuming and very relaxed. All they do is serve good food at a good price. What a novel idea. Nothing exotic, you won't find any "specials" with foreign words in them. Nothing you have to google to find out what's in it. A simple but adequate menu and comfortable and clean atmosphere. Of course being a local joint you will also find some interesting local characters. The last time my wife and I went here with some friends, this elderly man we never saw before came over to our table and announced that it was his 95th birthday and that he deserved a kiss. Well, I don't care how the hell old he is, I wasn't about to kiss him but my wife, being the generous and kind soul that she is, gave him a little peck on the cheek. He was so happy that he sang her a little song and did a little dance. Actually entertaining in it's spontaneity and verve and something that seems to only occur at these small, local beachy places.

Service is too slow. Breakfast food is ok if you don't mind being there for 90 minutes

Rude waitress and terrible food. My Monte Cristo sandwich was not even edible. Not once did the hateful woman smile or speak a kind word.

I ended up staying here kind of randomly - I had booked the Extended Stay America down the street,…read morethrough Delta Travel, and they canceled on me last minute, and ended up booking me here. Definitely stressful but it ended up working out well for me (this was more of a luxury hotel). Pros: -Super comfy bed, I had a room with a king bed -There is a restaurant on-site -The hotel is definitely modern but very tastefully decorated -Lots of plugs to plug in phone chargers, etc. -You can add on breakfast - on the Delta Travel site it was $11 and my breakfast cost $21 so objectively it's a good deal, however it's limited to only four entree choices and juice or coffee. -Friendly front desk employees Cons: -The toilet would make a weird noise whenever I would flush it -The rooms are okay-sized (300 sq. ft.) but bathroom is tiny - if you're sharing a room with friends I could see it being a little awkward. I also couldn't completely close the bathroom door and I was afraid it would get stuck so I didn't attempt it -Parking is across the street and is $12 per day, I believe they have valet as well Overall I would stay here again - Delta Travel paid them $450 for last night's stay (!!!) but I remembered seeing it for $300 when I was looking previously (and to compare, the more-basic room I had booked was $215... I assume because it's a Friday night) which isn't quite as bad.

It's the kind of place where you can easily get lost in conversation while exploring a great menu. They even let the flower company come in before I got there and set up all of the flower displays and bouquets for my birthday, which made everything feel so special. The staff was absolutely amazing, respectful, and so accommodating. They really will do anything they can within reason to make sure you have a great experience. The menu definitely has more of a Mediterranean feel, which personally isn't my favorite type of food, but they were still super accommodating to what I wanted and needed. And the drinks are STRONG definitely not stingy with those! Between the atmosphere, the staff, and how accommodating they were for my birthday, I would absolutely go back. Such a cool place for a special occasion!

Coffee was prompt and delicious and there was always somebody walking around with a coffee pot if you wanted a second, third or 4th cup. I ordered the short stack of pancakes with blueberries, and a side of bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the syrup was nice and hot. Plentiful amount of blueberries in the mixture! The bacon was crisp and not overly greasy or salty, very unusual. My boyfriend had the hillbilly eggs Benedict. This incredible dish included three biscuits, two sausage patties, sausage, gravy, eggs over easy and a side of home fries. So much food it would take three people to finish! Egg was delicious and well cooked, sausage had lots of flavor, and the presentation was also excellent. Small place, but nobody rushed you to go out the door and the server was extremely attentive and friendly. Definitely a local favorite and definitely worth the time. Also what we enjoyed was. It wasn't overly expensive for two people to enjoy a delicious brunch. Highly recommend!

I got the Big Ol' Burger and it was so good. Cooked perfectly, the special sauce was delicious and as you can probably tell from the photo, the fries were exactly what I was looking for. Everything tastes really fresh here. It has that farm-to-table quality, but in a relaxed, laid-back (but still really pretty) setting. We came for lunch and I loved that they had brunch options too. We didn't get any adult beverages but I was very tempted by the entire drink menu, so next time! Our service was also outstanding. Really everything was A+. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip.
