Although there are definitely better burgers in the Fort Worth area, they put out some Great burgers! I love their Swiss mushroom burger. If you want a HUGE, greasy, delicious burger this is definitely the place. Clear your eating schedule because this will probably be your only meal of the day. Lol read more

Best burger you can buy! Wonderful service and taste great. It should have two dollar signs though because it is a little on the pricey side. Worth paying for. I'd love to get a hamburger with cheese and bacon and add jalapeños to it and avocado. So good. The drinks do not taste water down. Looks like an old gas station but don't let looks deceive you. This is a SOLID burger joint!! You enter the restaurant and it just seems to take you back decades. As soon as we parked, the smell from the grill hit my face and it felt glorious!! It's all the way out in Crowley, but luckily my bf isn't too far away from it. Simple style, order at the window counter inside, take a seat, and eventually the waitress will bring it to you. Didn't take too long either. We went around 7p on a weekday, and it wasn't too busy. I ordered a mushroom burger with grilled onions. Super yum! And like someone said before, enough grease to make you taste the old grille but not too much to where it saturates and break apart the bun. Their onion rings are super good too! I've had a lot of burgers before and this place offers good burgers, but I can't make myself give it a 5 because there are a few other burgers I've had in the past that I still prefer over this one, so 4 star it is, or if I could I'd give it 4.5! I always enjoy eating here because of the great food and outstanding customer service. We order food from them for seminar attendees who come from miles away, and they always look forward to NickyD's baby burgers and fries. I recently got home with my take-out order and discovered something was missing from my order. I called and the manager was very apologetic and told me to come in anytime and get two free meals. I think this was a rare occurrence, and I don't think they take this lightly. The owners of this business have worked very hard to build an outstanding reputation, and they are sensitive to how every single customer feels about their business. read more

We have been here many times and it has been very good. Today it was horrible. The hamburgers fell completely apart and tasted like they were made yesterday and reheated. Their fries are delicious and the seasoning they use (might just be salt) is on point! I get the baby burger and fries and it's enough for me. Don't let that name fool you. It's not just for babies! I can't imagine there is a better burger in DFW, especially the Bacon Jammer. Everything always comes out fresh and the staff is friendly. If they are slammed, things can sometimes take a while, but absolutely, positively worth the wait. In addition to the top shelf burgers, they make a mean smoked bologna sammich, and a damn good chicken fried steak, whether it be on a sammich or served traditional style on a plate with gravy. Always hearing how awesome this place is and we finally had a chance to try it out. Yes they have over the top burgers with an overwhelming amount of choices. You will certainly find something for everyone but I found the prices were a bit over the top for burgers. It's kind of small inside so know if you arrive during busy hours you might have trouble finding a seat but everyone seems friendly and willing to share tables. Everything tasted great and there were no complaints from my kids. I had to fight them off from eating my fries. You can always get it to go if the place is packed so don't let that keep you from trying the place out during the lunch rush. The place has been there for what seems like forever and looks it's age but they are pumping out some tasty burger options. Burger options I would have never thought about so come with an adventurous spirit and try more than just the norm. read more

This is probably the only burger place in town if you don't count fast food. Honestly this place is crap. It's a converted gas station and it's pretty messy. The burgers aren't anything special and the staff isn't nice (they might be nice to your face and remember your order, but when you leave they will make fun of you). The turnover rate for employees is high, and I know why, I had a couple of friends who worked here. From what I've heard from they only paid you in cash which means there was some funny business going on. Second there's no time card, which means if you stay 1-2 hours later than your schedule they aren't paying you for it (which I believe isn't legal). But hey that was a long time ago so hopefully they cleaned up on that crap. Second the back area isn't very clean apparently. The ice cream freezer was nasty and the fridge was dirty, I wouldn't trust the food here for that reason. One story that particularly makes me not want to come here is when I was told that one of their sauces the guy mixed maybe ketchup and mayo and left it on the counter for a day or two and management was like hmm whatever, as long as people like it well serve it. I know mayo can be good at room temperature but it was the lack of caring that got me. Now on to the food. The burgers are dry and greasy, the buns are standard and the fries seasoning is strange. And the drink station is almost always sticky. I think this place has a decent amount of stars because it really isn't hard to screw up burgers enough for people to dislike the joint. But honestly I just don't like the food enough to come back. read more

Greasy burgers and what I call "poop fries" . The fries are always soggy and dark brown in color. I don't know how they mutilate them that way but they always do. the last time my burger bun felt like it had been soaked in water but wait.. no.. it was grease. A ton of grease and falling apart before my fingers ever touched it. Rendon General Store a few miles east is superior food. Nicky D's does give a lot back to the community though and only for that reason will I give them two stars. Nicky D's is a fried food Mecca. They also have the BEST veggie burger I've ever had and that includes my previous favorite from Beck's Prime in Houston. The service is fast and friendly. The tea is excellent. The decor is eclectic, just a like a good burger place should be. Honestly, this place should have been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives on the Food Network. IT's better than most of the places I've been that were actually featured on DDD. read more

The burgers are basic not anything you can't make at home. After we ordered 5 burgers and a basket of onion rings and a basket of fries Paying nearly $60 they wouldn't give us Ranch without charge. I find that bad business and not good customer service. I for one am a person that loves Ranch with onion rings too bad I refused to pay the fee. We won't be back. Fries appear to be burnt scraps. Decent little joint if you make sure to order the burger medium cooked so that it will be cooked to a good tender point. Not a big fan of throwing the sides on the side whether you want them or not. Ordering to go when you get home 5 minutes later the bun is soggy as are the fries. I recommend eating there. read more

This is one of my favorite burger places. You know its gonna be good because you smell it cooking in the parking lot before you ever go in. Definitely one of the true burger gems in the Tarrant County area. I had the double meat burger. It was not a gourmet burger just straight forward mustard burger. It was huge and I finished it although I was in a food coma for about 7 hours. It was worth it. Check the place out and I promise you will be glad you did. read more
