I have taken some very expensive suits, and women's designer clothing. Nick does an amazing job. He is very professional, meticulous and friendly. Family owned business and operated. Use him, you will not be disappointed. read more

Always does great work. Have brought in all types of items for repair or alteration. Was extremely impressed and appreciative on my most recent visit when he fixed something on the spot (for free!) vs keeping and charging me for something that was really just my error (with a zipper). Highly recommend! read more

Ive used Nick so many times to get my suits tailored and he does such a good job. I body build so its hard to get a big suit fitted well with my size arms and waste. He makes a $100 suit I bought look like a $1000 brand name Fitted suit. Just recently he tailored a costume for me and WOW. For the life of me I could not figure out how to get this costume to work or fit. Nick was great on the suggestions and knew exactly what I was trying to go for. Im always going to be a loyal customer. You rock Nick. This Halloween Im looking so forward to cuz of you. read more

My wife and I have been going to Nick for the past twenty years and we could not be happier overall with the service that he provides. This is a hard working man that is a master at his craft. I normally do not like the whole shopping and then going to get clothing altered thing but with Nick it's different because Nick is old school. After he services you a time or two he will know your name when you walk in. If you happen to spend a few minutes taking with him you could become familiar with his family and he with yours. Going to Nick is like going to the old Hawthorne savings at the corner of Marine and Sepulveda before it was swallowed up by Chase. Once upon a time ago when you walked into that bank you knew everyone that worked there and they know you. Unfortunately we don't see that much anymore but if you need a GREAT tailor and you are hungry for that old time service, go see Nick. I have a feeling that the pandemic has hit Nick's business hard because as we all know a lot of people are still not going into the office, not purchasing nice new clothes that need to be altered, etc (you know how it trickles down). Whenever possible we should all be supporting our local businesses so they survive and Nick's Tailor is no different. I'll close this review this way, If you need those pants let out a bit before you start back in the office due to the old COVID 19 (you know, the 19 lb. weight gain over the last six months) or any type of Tailor service, please give Nick a try because you certainly will not be disappointed when you do. Nick's prices are always fair and the quality of his work is absolutely second to none. read more

I am 5'2 and have several pair of Diesel jeans that are way too long. I asked Nick if he could not only hem them but keep the original seam- and he did Amazing!!! Honestly, you would have no idea I had them hemmed. Very very happy! read more

Hemmed a long gown quickly and at a good price. Will use again for future tailoring needs.

Nick has now repaired 5 pairs of my premium denim / jeans. Stellar work at reasonable prices.

Been going to Nick's since I moved to LA 5 years ago. I've had multiple pairs of jeans altered here with original hems. I've had sleeves shortened on suit jackets. Never had a problem, always exactly what I wanted. I'm a little further away from Manhattan Beach now and tried another tailor in my area. All I can say is Nick has better pricing. read more

Nick does amazing work, best alternating shop in the South bay! Very friendly, reliable & reasonable prices.

I own a martial arts studio down the street and I needed desperate help with the martial arts belts. Nick came to my rescue with professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, timeliness, and obviously has a very incredible skill set. I've been coming to Nick for a few years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you for all of your dedicated hard work. read more

First time going to a tailor shop in general because I never worse suits, but had to get a suit for my new job. My job gave me a wonky measurement of a suit, but Nick has magic. Transformed both my pants to slim suits that fit me perfectly. Does take a little time (1 week) to make sure it's perfect but it's worth it. I'm going to be coming to him whenever I need a fix. Definitely recommend! read more

Best tailor ever!!! I have been going to see Nick for about 5 years. He has always done amazing work! I have almost all of my jeans/pants taken in at the waste and shortened. He can re-work complicated pieces as well! I trust him with all of my tailoring!! read more

I brought a very special BCBG $300 dress to Nicks Tailor to get altered. I got home tried it on, and there was a huge stain towards the bottom of the dress. I brought it back to the store immediately and the tailor claimed he did not do it, he was only working toward the top of the dress straps. He was completely ignorant. It smelled like shoe polish or some type of chemical, and it was a fresh stain. I told him it was unacceptable(not my doing) so he said, with hesitation, he would get it cleaned. I did not trust to leave my dress with him for one more minute so I took it and brought it to the cleaners, praying they will be able to remove the oily stain. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years. Azam is the best tailor ever! I don't know what I would do without him. He has completely redesigned dresses with me so things are almost custom. He gives me advice on how to tailor certain items, and what would look good hemmed for flats or high heels. He also does a perfect hem on jeans! I was so happy to find a tailor that I can trust with my clothes. Additionally they are so nice and friendly. Thank you Azam for always being so great! read more

Nick's is great!! He altered my prom dress 6 days before prom and has much better prices than other nearby tailors.

Nick's Tailor was recommended to me by a sales girl in Nordstrom about 10 years ago as I wanted a special alteration before they could get it back to me. I've been very happy with the service I've received and always bee able to pick up garments exactly when promised for. I like the attention to detail and have recommended several neighbors and have not heard anything but praise. read more

Azam has tailored so many garments for me over the past few years that he might start thinking that I buy everything large just to have an excuse to see him. That is not the case, just find it hard to get nice athletic fitting shirts. He always does a great job and has everything done in a timely manner. I am happy to have a very personable tailor as part of circle that I can refer to friends. He is a great guy, does a nice job and always brightens my day. read more

I decided to try Nick's as he was closer to my house than the tailor I had been using. Hands down the best decision ever! He has hemmed jeans for me, tacked coat hems, repaired holes in sweaters, and has even stitched Girl Scout badges on my daughter's vest. He is kind and truly cares about his craftsmanship. I recently brought in a difficult hen job for him...sheer material with uneven hem (jumpsuit). He took the time to loosely stitch the hem and have me return a few days later to do any minor adjustments before he stitched it. He is great. Top notch work. read more
