From Plumber to Rock Star!!!…read more Keith, the owner of K. Hoeler plumbing, has traded his humble roots to become an impresario Rock Star ... (guess at whose expense?). Keith has done jobs for me for at least 15 years and "lickety split" has now become a "when i get around to it" plumber and worse. No phone call - no nothing! His services, like his fame, have climbed to a lofty price ... DIG DEEP!!!! I am disappointed and regretful, but this feedback is merited and too high a rating already. I called / emailed / txt to get him to look at a small job. NADA - NO WORD - NOTHING! NICE TREATMENT TO GET AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! BUT ... dumb of me ... Rock Stars charging $125 / hr. do not need tidbits anymore. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR ... IF YOU WANT TO PAY EXHORBITANT PRICES AT THE PLUMBER'S WHIM ... then do call and talk to Keith!!! HE WILL GRANT YOUR WISH TO BE HOSED (no pun). If you want better customer service and a better job overall ... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE GRIEF OF ROCK STARDOM AND PASS ON K.HOELER. ps: called a local plumber who came asap and did the small job at easily half the K. Hoeler price. ....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Enough said!!!

We recently called Bertoli to service a bath tub issue. Two maintenance people came and exhibited…read moreabsolutely no idea of what they were doing. In an effort to isolate , what they thought was an additional shut off valve, they proceeded to cut three holes in my ceiling. After not finding what they thought was there they tried to replace the pieces of the ceiling breaking half of them. Needless to say the job was not completed. One week later another maintenance man comes and fixes the issues and wonders why the other two cut my ceiling. He assured us Bertoli would fix the ceilings immediately. The end result is Bertoli office refused to repair any of THEIR damage unless we gave them another $895.00. This company is a disgrace to the township of Rockaway if they can't stand behind their incompetence. UPDATE - it's great to know that Bertoli immediately reached out to us to explain the miscommunication between us and will immediately take care of all issues. I appreciate the Bertoli response once they realized a mistake and poor communication among us was the real issue. Thanks for stepping up to the plate Bertoli.

Imad was the best plumber I've worked with. I called him at 1030pm Saturday night for a leak issue…read more- he answered right away and came to my house the following morning. Quickly resolved the issue and even asked me if I wanted to complete the project myself as the rest would be easy, and essentially I wouldn't have to pay for certain charges. I declined and said that I would feel safer if he finished the project. He quickly went to a supply store to get the correct parts, installed them, gave me great advice, and great price for everything. I had another plumber come to my house a few days before calling Imad - they immediately said the solution would be to tear down a wall to get to the back of the shower (without even attempting to fix it). This would have cost me thousands of dollars. Imad fixed the problem without having to tear down anything. Also very professional - would highly recommend. Thanks Imad!

They sent someone the next day, and they said absolutely nothing about a service charge or any kind of charge for coming out to look at the leak. The guy told us that it's an easy fix we can do ourselves. Great. Then he charges us $95 (plus tax because we used a credit card, not having tons of cash lying around) as a "service charge." For coming to the house for 10 minutes and telling us to do the job ourselves!! Unbelievable. If you "have to" charge a "service charge" (and he said it's because we called the company "through Google"?? what??), you absolutely need to tell people that beforehand instead of springing it on them at the end of the visit. It's just so shady.

I gave him the job Day of Job: He said he would arrive at 9 on Wednesday. He showed up to my house 2hrs late. He texted to let me know he was running late at 8:30. I texted him at 9:30 to inquire about his ETA, he said he would arrive at 10. He got to my house at 11. He set up the job and started working. 10 minutes in, he tells me he has the wrong part and that he needs to go get the correct part. This was frustrating since my ceiling was open when he gave me the quote. The short story here is that he is unable to get the part - he tells me that he will return on saturday at 9am. The next day: I text him to confirm saturday 9am on Thursday at the end of the day. He confirms. Saturday: He does not respond to texts or phone calls at all. He does not show This was unprofessional and an absolute waste of my time. He damaged a temporary fix I had in place by removing and partially reinstalling my toilet on wednesday, which meant that no one in my family could use that toilet again for several days.
