My water heater died on a Saturday. The plumber I usually call doesn't work on the weekend. I found Titanium Plumbing, Jon F arrived soon after I called, and it was the best thing to happen!! During the installation of the new water heater the knob on the water main broke off, thankfully in the off position. This required having someone come from the Village to turn off the water at the street. The knob was fixed, and the installation was completed. Jon F spent about 6 hours, with many, many trips up and down the stairs, to make sure this job was done correctly. This entire operation, from the professionalism of the young woman who answered the phone, to the care taken to protect the interior of my home, to the knowledge, dedication, and fortitude of the plumber, was beyond expectation, and I wholeheartedly recommend Titanium Plumbing and Heating!! read more

I called Titanium Plumbing in hopes they could help resolve my plumbing issues that have plagued my house since i bought it. I personally worked with Eric from start to finish and it was a wonderful experience. They showed up day 1 with all the tools needed to inspect my main sewage line which continuously backed up even though it was snaked many times. Eric suggested we water jet the line to clean it properly, and then scope it. It was immediately clear i had tree roots in my main sewage line. A few days later Eric was there with his team to excavate and we found about 20' of old clay pipe which was cracked and had roots in it. That same day new PVC lines were laid and i was back in action. ZERO issues since, and i couldn't be happier. Eric was great from start to finish, and made sure i was comfortable with everything and made sure i learned exactly what was going on. Last night, I came home from a long, cold day at work to frozen pipes. Worst nightmare ever during this time of year. STUPID POLAR VORTEX I HATE YOU. Anyway, only one bathroom was affected, the other one and the kitchen sink were fine so my family and I lucked out a bit. Of course, it was MY bathroom that was affected though. My parents didn't want to call our old plumber because he's slow and they don't like him. So, I asked my cousin for help and he recommended Titanium Plumbing and Heating instead because its his friend Rob's company. Well, Rob is really excellent. I called him today and he said he'd be available at 1 and showed up 10 minutes early. I wasn't home while he was there but my parents were and they said he was nice and helpful. He fixed the pipes in about half hour, called me when he was done and gave me advice on how to prevent this from happening. Apparently, there's more to it than just keeping your heat on 70 degrees. Seriously, who knew. Anyway, Rob really helped us out in a tight spot and was able to come at the drop of a hat. I was very afraid our pipes would burst too so we needed him immediately. Titanium is a great company. I had a couple plumbing issues that the crew fixed. My elderly neighbor also had her hot water break down and she called me to find someone to fix it for her. Excellent service. There have been 3 occasions now where I called Titanium in the last 6 months and received same-day service. Rob showed up and fixed the issue all within 2 hours of when I called. He was cheaper and faster then the last guy I was using (who I stopped using for overcharging). He even identified another problem and said that the boiler would keep on breaking unless he fixed the second issue, then he stayed an extra hour and worked until it was done. Rob was recommended by a good friend, and I am glad we took the recommendation. We have gone through our run of the mill plumbers electricians contractors. They all sound the same and you get the same run around. Rob is definitely the one you can count on in plumbing and heating. He is hard working, knows what he is doing, RELIABLE, TRUST WORTHY. And with all that he does not charge you extra for his great traits. He is reasonably priced. You almost feel guilty not paying more because he is that good in his field. No job is too small or too large. He came at our rescue, also from damage of frozen pipes. (mind you other plumbers thought it was no big deal and wanted to give us appointments in a week or two) We had other problems that we were going to address at another time but Rob left such a good impression that we wanted to use his expertise. I needed a plumber badly this weekend because the shower in my bathroom was running uncontrollably and the only way to stop it was to turn off the main water line for the entire house. I called Titanuim because of the raving reviews from past Yelpers stating that they were on call when you need them. Well, I called them on a Saturday night and Rob said he would call us back the next day. This was a little surprising seeing that others said he came out immediately despite the time and day. Regardless we waited until Sunday for his call, which he did. However, he told us he had a family emergency and was not available. I understand that family does take priority. However, your website states that your services are available eveyday from 7a to 10p for emergency services. The website kept using the word "WE" and to me, this means that there are multiple people involved in this company who are available when one is not. After talking to Rob on Sunday it seemed like he was the only one in this company and when he is not available the consumer is left helpless because there is no one else to come to your aid. I do not understand why someone would say "WE" on their website when there is only one person. This is very misleading to the consumer. I don't know what constitutes as an emergency to Titanium but I would think that no running water for 2 days is an emergency. I am sure Titanium does great work in emergency situations, but I have yet to see the greatness that is boasted by the previous Yelpers. read more

Wow! I had no idea how happy finding an awesome plumber like Rob would make me. I had read the other great reviews on Yelp and gave him a try. He is punctual, very nice, smart AND affordable. Initially, I needed a faucet fixed but I had always wanted a water softener and purificiation system for the house. I've used Rob twice since my first review, and am happy to report that this company stands by it's work, and continues to deliver. I used them to unclog a drain in a rental I own, and he showed up promptly, and did the job with no issues. Fair price, also. Recently, another rental had a fairly substantial leak causing quite a bit of drywall damage, and Rob answered the phone on a Sunday night, then showed up the next day to conduct repairs on what amounted to three floors. He spent more time than he anticipated, but still charged a fair price for what amounted to a lot of work. Again, Titanium is not the cheapest.
