They did this because they wanted to make sure the repair would work, and after the installation of the part, there was a certain amount of time the system needed to reboot. I repeatedly tried to pay him for all the extra attention and he refused. This is a true pay it forward company. There are few of these type of businesses these days. None returned my calls, and one completely stood me up. I expanded my search to Yelp and reached out to Nemat at 3 Point Mechanical. He said that he could swing by same day and take a look at what the problem is. It turns out there were a few problems with the unit: the core issue was an electrical problem, but the AC unit was also sinking into the ground and had not been serviced in many, many years. After about an hour, I was thrilled when our unit was back up and running. Nemat will be returning in about a week to ensure that everything is running smoothly. In addition to being knowledgeable, Nemat is a really personable guy and was thoughtful enough to wear a mask the entire time. All in all, I'd definitely recommend his services to anyone having similar issues to my own.

Let's face it, spending that $ for the stuff you cannot see is never fun but Rob gave a good fair price. His techs - Mark and Robert -were here all day and did not stop until job was done, checking to make sure it was working properly and explaining the system to us so it can function for years to come. They were cordial in working in masks in this trying time (and with us wearing them in our home as well to protect them). Removing the old furnace was a task in itself as it easily weighed OVER 500 lbs and had to be broken up in two pieces to get out of our basement! I had used DB prior to for our annual AC checks, but this is the first big time job and couldn't be happier. Great service all the way around.

Price was great especially considering the larger companies who charge just for being BIG. Who wants to pay for their overhead?! The staff arrived exactly on time at 8AM and finished before 4PM. They left our place clean along with an updated new thermostat, warranties etc. Really was relieved as we saw the temp rise on a pre-snow storm afternoon.

The system NEVER worked right. the Thermostat doesn't work and the system costs so much to run because it does not cool the house. I have begged that Peter come out and correct the issues. To no avail. I have had real professionals come to look at and all agree it is undersized and the Return is too small. Peter refuses to correct the poor installation - the first time I called he came back and said his "helper" left plastic over the vents and that's why it wasn't blowing out air. maybe around the 10th time I called he send me pictures from the manual on how to fix on my own. Bottom line, Peter does not back his work and runs away when you come looking for him. I would not recommend Dun Rite to anyone.
