No parking, no rest rooms, and nowhere to sit and eat, but I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the speed by which they made the sandwich. -- Italian Sandwich: A heavy beast of a sandwich with a lengthy ciabatta roll stuffed with sopressata, salami, capicola, hot capicola, mortadella with pistachios, asiago cheese, arugula, tomato, onion, seasoned oil, pickles, and hot peppers. --- All of the flavors came through and the meats seemed of very high-quality. The pickles were more noticeable than the hots, but easy to adjust next time. The cheese tasted better as it went along, probably getting closer to room temperature where it really shines. --- The flavors and textures were all impressive with the one exception of the ciabatta-- a little on the firm side, but that could be symptomatic of my late Sunday visit. I give them a pass for that and applaud this VERY good sandwich. --- Incredible value! This had to weigh at least 3 pounds and could easily have fed two people, and for only slightly more than a McDonald's "value" meal. Normally, I would wait and try it again before reviewing, but the city of Lynn isn't easy for me to get to, so now it is and it's an easy 4. The only things holding them back from a 5 are the lack of parking, seating, and toilet.

They also have their other location in Haverhill. They serve up a variety of pizzas, calzones, pasta dinners, salads, subs, burgers, appetizers, wings, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, bowls, chilled desserts, fried dough balls, and cooler drinks. The prices seem reasonable and there are takeout deals offered. They offer online ordering (fees) and there is a 4 percent fee for using credit card (cash - no fee). I stopped by Crusttown Salem for takeout recently. I ordered the Broccoli Alfredo Pasta ($11.99 plus tax) and a Ham & Cheese Calzone ($13.99 plus tax). My order was hot & ready to go in about 20 minutes. I headed back home and the food was still quite hot. The baked pasta dish was heavy, in a round foil container with soft fettuccine smothered with a creamy alfredo sauce, bacon pieces, and soft broccoli florets and topped with a browned layer of mozzarella cheese. The calzone was a good size, soft chewy dough pocket filled with melted mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese & deli ham, two cups of marinara sauce provided for dipping. The food was very filling to eat and a bit salty from the meats (bacon and ham). I had leftover food for the next two nights.

She was patient and kind and took the time to understand what we needed. We ordered cocktails... because tonight was the last night I could before I re-start chemotherapy. Both my father and I ordered the Sangria ($14.00) ... And it was *amazing*. Honestly, it was the best I've had since my best friend and I drank together at a Flamenco restaurant in Montreal in June of 1985. My mother ordered the house dry red wine ($10.00) I didn't taste it and she didn't mention whether it was good or not. We ordered one Ceasar Salad ($10.00) and it was both really generous and incredibly delicious (see photo). My parents and I split it three was and it was plenty. The tang of the dressing really worked against the sardines and garlic. I'd definitely go back for more of that!! For dinner, my mother ordered the beef special.... Beef Braciole ($33.00) in an epic sauce. She loved it... but definitely could not finish it!! She brought the leftovers home (as did my father and I). My father ordered the Veal parmigiana ($29.99) and it was a massive, almost overwhelming plate of food (photo attached). He loved it (as did I when I tasted it!). For me?? I ordered the Pollo Vodka Bella Napoli ($26.99 - photo attached). It was a huge, almost overwhelming bowl of food and it was amazing. Deep, rich flavor with mushrooms, bacon, shallots, and tender chunks of chicken. The noodles we all ordered were the home made & hand-made fusilli that are produced in-house. I think that if a chef is going to spend the time necessary to make noodles, you should savor them... and that's what we did. Suzanne offered us a chance at dessert, but we declined, since we knew that if any of us ate a bite more, we would hit critical mass and destroy at least the surrounding block. The only weak point we encountered was the bread. It was weak, drab, and lacking in taste and character. They could do much better on that. Our bill, with taxes, was $162.62. With tip, it came to $195. Totally worth it!

The menu here is different than Antique Table and Piccolo Piatti Winthrop, which offers full service dining with mostly Italian food. I stopped by Piccolo Piatti mid-afternoon and the place was fairly busy with people hanging out waiting for their orders. I ordered a Salmon Bowl ($16 plus tax) which was ready in about 25 minutes after ordering since there were already large orders before mine. I watched the two cooks prepare food in the kitchen as I waited. The Salmon Bowl was really good with nice flavors, which had white rice, mixed greens, red onions, pico de gallo, hot tender honey glazed salmon smoothed with a pesto mayo. I will definitely have to drop in again for a hot sandwich with a smoothie!

I always disregarded them as they have "cafe and market" in their name. I assumed sandwich and bakery. We decided to pull in and discovered a full restaurant, patio, and bar. We decided to sit at the bar as it was last minute and there were empty seats. Joanna, our bar tender, instantly greeted us and got us some delicious cocktails quickly. My cosmo was one of the best I had. We asked for some recommendations, and she was spot on. The caprese salad was a plump delicious heirloom tomato with delicious pesto, mozzarella and balsamic dressing. The arancini was a cheesy risotto in a bolognese sauce that my husband couldn't stop saying "fantastic." Same with me. We ended up splitting the sliced filet which was cooked to perfection. Oh, and I forgot about the delicious warm bread and parmigian oil that was to die for. Service and food are 5 stars. We are going to come back again and again!! Loved it.
