The chicken picatta was delicious. Would love a choice of pasta. A side salad would also be welcomed. Ready on time. Friendly service

You walk in and are met with the aroma of pizza. They have a great selection of beers as well. I had the Margherita and it was delicious. Despite going during Halloween rush season, staff were quick to seat us and kind despite that rush. Now I've been to Bambolina's before and you can either sit outside (even this time of year) and take in the passersby and their numerous themed costumes or you can sit inside and enjoy the lowered mood lighting with more wood and tan accent colors. It feels sleepy in there and for me that equates to comfort. On this particular occasion I decided to get a Rosso Pizza from the Bambolina menu and my fiance got the Pork Belly Ramen from the flip side of the menu, that second restaurant I mentioned: Kokeshi. The food overall here is very natural and fresh tasting- none of that processed jargon you get at chains. You might think having two totally different culturally distinct menus under the same roof means one gas to be better than the other or one takes a hit in quality but no, not at all. I can pleasantly say having tried from both the Bambolina and Kokeshi menus that options on each are solid. You won't be disappointed if you go here, though it is more of a surprise if you're used to having processed pizza and ramen frequently. This place tastes very fresh and we are often excited to go whenever we hit Salem.

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

I had a delicious espresso martini and for apps I tried the arancini and picked off my sister's caesar salad. They were both alright, but the caesar could've used more dressing and I didn't love the flavor of the arancini - just a bit bland. For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. This also really lacked flavor, and I was yearning for more tomatoes. The service was great and our waitress Leanna was attentive and super sweet. They had clean bathrooms and ample parking out front and around the block. However, the food wasn't memorable, and I don't think I'll go out of my way to return.

We had a good laugh, and then she had the hostess lead us to the back stairs. What a cozy room on the second floor. Alana, the bartender, made us excellent tequila cosmos. Then we had the fried calamari appetizer, which was honestly the best fried calamari I have ever had-light batter and tender, served with a side of their tomato sauce, which was excellent, too! I had the clams with linguini in their lemon, butter, garlic sauce, which was very yummy, and my husband had the chicken marsala. Both entrees were well proportioned and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

I think the broccoli was a little too hard and the chicken a little dry. However the portion was huge and it still tasted good the next day reheated. My husband got the chicken parm and he thought it was amazing and it was a massive portion. Would recommend! I'm sure it's better in person as well.

I was heading to Salem in October, and didn't want to risk trying to find food without a…read morereservation, but as expected many places don't take reservations in October because the influx of people, but Antique Table did! When we arrived the place was nearly empty, which come to find out places aren't as busy on a Monday. There was one other table finishing up in the main dinning area, and one other group arrived at the same time we did. We were greeted and sat quickly, but that's where the speed of things kinda came to a slow down. I'll start with some of the positives - our waitress was really nice and she had a helper who also was nothing but polite and friendly. The decor is really cool! There was no one in the entire back room of the restaurant, so I went and took a peak back there on the way to the bathroom and it had old cameras, typewriters, cool pieces of art, the main room also have some great scales of justice, and other fun features. They also had all the Halloween decor, if anyone needed to use the restroom we were told to go towards the large mirror, and I would always add on to my friends "with the creepy doll on it". After about 2 to 3 minutes my entire party had and water was brought to the table and served in plastic cups. Which at a place with white table clothes felt a little strange. At some point after our waitress returned to take drink orders and an appetizer of the calamari. She then asked "have I offered you all any bread yet" we said no, but we would love bread. She said "okay it will be $3" and walked away. We all kinda looked at each other confused, because the phrasing seemed like it was complementary bread but we were really hungry at this point and the bread ended up being really good - but it was a small portion for $3. I think 6 thinner slices in total. We waited a while before she returned for our food order. The menu has what you expect from an Italian places but also has a large section of Mexican dishes, which feels mismatched, it wasn't fusion style it was just Italian and Mexican separately, it just feels really disjointed. I went with the bolognese and one of my friends decided to order the tacos because it felt so silly to do in an Italian spot (and who doesn't like tacos generally). The calamari came out at some point after the bread, but we finished the bread, the calamari, and all our waters at a causal pace after that. We were sitting for a while before anyone came back to the room where we were seated. At this point there were maybe 3 or 4 tables sat in our room and possible one other couple up towards the front area. As many of us were out of water, I headed up towards the bar area or host stand to see if I could find someone. I ran into the guy who was assisting with our table and asked if we could get some more water - which happened promptly. About 5 to 10 minutes after that our waitress returned with even more water and told us food would be out soon. The food arrived maybe 10 minutes after that, so it had been a while since we ordered. The bolognese was fine, the pasta wasn't overcooked, the sauce lacked some depth and the meat was a little firmer than anticipated but overall it was still okay. They did offer some Parmesan cheese to be added to any of the pastas or tacos. The total for 5 people, with no alcohol, one soda, one order of calamari, the $3 bread, and the already added gratuity (which they did mention was already added in at 20% and it was also stated on the bill) ended up being $208. Overall, the food was fine, nothing to make a special trip for. Service was friendly, but very slow. The vibes were a little mismatched - Mexican food with Italian food and plastic cups with white table clothes. Overall, it's a fine experience if you are needing a reservation.

The staff give off a weird vibe & it's one of those places where once you get your overpriced bar food you will be forgotten To top it off they did have live music that may have blew out my ear drums & sounded like you just dropped acid.
