They did a terrible job. Carpet looked the same. They spammed me with email and calls after the fact to use their service again.

We had issues with moisture and mold in our apartment due to water getting into failing caulk and…read moregrout lines. We contact multiple vendors to come and looks at the issue, but none were as thorough and experienced as Mark and his team. From the beginning to end, the experience has been stellar. Mark arrived to look at the issue promptly. He was able to identify the issue accurately and was honest about the necessary scope of the remediation work. (Other vendors suggest a smaller fix which ,in hindsight, would not have solved our issue in the long run and would require additonal work later on) Throughout the entire process, he constantly communicated the progress of the work and kept us update on the schedule, something that we appreciate since its the first time we have to deal with mold and water issues. Last but not least, Mark and his team take great care in carrying out the work and handling our belongings in the work area. If you need any restoration work done, I definitely recommend Quality Assurance Restoration.

Fantastic work. Great value. Even better guys. Mark and his team did a phenomenal job…read more We discovered water puddling in our crawlspace right under where our furnace is. I contacted a few different people, but Mark was the first to be willing to make it out to us that same day. After checking out the damage, he put my mind at ease and gave us the rundown of his plan of running a few fans and dehumidifiers in our utility closest and in the crawlspace. I asked him a bunch of questions I had, and he answered each one with ease and helped me understand what was going on. In the end, Mark and his team set up the fans and dehumidifiers in the spaces and left them for a few days. We were considering getting new tiling and he recommended Jose from Neza Restoration & Repair. Jose and Fernando also did a really good job. What makes Mark stand out from the rest is his availability, clear communication, and just being a down to earth guy. I felt I could trust Mark, and may have overstepped when asking for advice outside of water damage, but was he willing in answering and helping me out. God forbid I have more water damage in my future, but if I do, Mark and his team are the first ones I'll contact. And I'll be referring them to every person I know seeking water damage help from now on.

Last week I had a fire in my home, it was about 4:00 am in the morning, in less than 20 minutes I…read morehad several board-up companies outside. Getting my kids and dogs out of the house was my priority, but looked like these companies could care less, they wanted my business. The fire department put out the fire, it was a big fire, my home is not livable at the moment, we lost everything. I picked a board up company and they boarded the windows and doors. They tried to get my business for the rest of the work inside the home but the Fire Department advised me not to sign anything until I spoke with my insurance company. There were so many public adjusters outside fighting for me to sign on, it was scary. I went to my parents house, called my insurance company and they recommended ServiceMaster by Zaba, within 5 minutes I received a call from Brittney at the office, she had a crew arrive onsite in less than 30 minutes. When i showed up to the my house i could not get out of the car, there were a bunch of public adjusters waiting for me, they were ghetto and yelling at each other, I had to call the police. I called the Service Master manager which I was able to identify based on their yellow trucks. He walked over to my car and we walked to the house, i could not believe how unprofessional the public adjusters were, they were yelling ignorant comments. I dont what makes them think anyone would want to do business with them. One of the Public Adjusters walked into my home and bluntly told me, he can rebuild my home to be my dream home and put money in my pocket! I was so mad, I kicked him out. I was impressed at how professional ServiceMaster by Zaba was. They kept their cool throughout the process and were never disrespectful to any of those jerks, they focused on me and my home and asked how my family was. I had smoke, soot and water damage everywhere, of course at this point nothing was salvageable. The adjuster arrived while we were there, we spent about 3 hours going over the work that needed to take place and the expectations. I am very happy and blessed to have been recommended ServiceMaster by Zaba, the process so far has been easy and they are handling all the communication with my insurance company. Neil, Joseph, Alecia and the rest of the team and office staff have been amazing. I hope no one experiences a fire, they are devastating and sometimes fatal, but they are not avoidable. Please make a wise decision, be aware of signing with a public adjuster, speak with your insurance company first. I highly recommend ServiceMaster by Zaba, they are a great company with great staff.

They completed work in a couple days and were great at communicating what was going on since I've never dealt with water damage before. I did nothing on my own, but I brought it to Urban Cleaners in Skokie. The wonderful manager said she would hand spot it and then dry clean it. I was not optimistic. I just picked it up, and my jaw literally dropped. The dress was perfect. I cannot recommend Urban Cleaners enough. $12 saved me from having to replace my brand new dress.

The reason I'm leaving this review after bringing my dry cleaning business exclusively to this…read morelocation for about 4-5 years is the obvious deterioration in customer service over the past year or so. Late in June, I brought 4 shirts in for cleaning. Standard service - dropped it off on a Saturday and was told to pick it up a few days later. When I inspected each of the shirts after arriving home, I found that one of them had a very obvious hole ripped into it (first two image uploads below). I suppose this kind of thing happens after many cleanings, and some grace is warranted. The thing is, while this shirt was not new, it was not one I had worn very often over the years and definitely not one I have had to clean many times. I did some investigation and even asked someone I knew in the industry and it appears this kind of damage was most likely due to a mechanical snag during the processing of the shirt. What likely happened was that the shirt was poorly tensioned during the finishing process, resulting in the shirt fibers catching on a rough edge of the clamps in the automatic shirt finisher or perhaps in a rough weld on the pressing buck. Basically, lazy/clumsy processing combined with crappy, old equipment. In other words - cost minimization and good, old-fashioned incompetence. When I brought the shirt back in, the kid working the front desk hastily took it in and, without another word, disappeared into the production floor - no word on when to come back and it wasn't until I called them back a couple of weeks later on a Saturday to get an update that they told me that they would have it ready a few days later, on Wednesday. Were they just sitting on it hoping I would forget about the shirt? It had been about two weeks since I brought the shirt in and I was hoping this gave them enough time to address the issue with a good, clean patch job. Boy, was I wrong. If you are curious what three weeks to get it right looks like at Urban Dry Cleaners, have a look at the pics I uploaded to the Google Review I left for these guys. Truthfully, even before all of this, there were a couple of instances where I left some clothing for cleanup and came back at the agreed-upon pickup time (one of the two times, I even came back a couple of days after the pick-up time) only to be told that the order wasn't yet ready. This was upsetting because, during heavier traffic, the commute over to their Skokie location from where I live can be over 30 minutes. These guys have grown their bottom line at the same rate that they have outgrown good customer service. They no longer need my business, so I will not be coming back.
