Jim saw the flooring underneath had rotted due to over watering of the previous owners plants and fixed it all. He is meticulous. We bought close to 30 boxes and he inspected each board for defects. It turns out four boxes had defects. We were able to exchange them and finish the job. If you want perfection, call this guy. He was fastidious and his workmanship was impressive. And not only did they take a look at every detail of the project, they worked with us to strategically fix the things that were the highest risk. As the project scope increased to resolve badly done plumbing and tile work by our previous contractor, Ramis would sit us down and talk with us and have us sign off on every minor change to the SOW. Every night Ramis would send us photos of the work done and let us know of any changes in timeline and what he would be doing next if a major milestone was completed. Bruce, who was doing a majority of the work, would always show up on time, and communicate often. His craftsmanship was world class. At one point Ramis needed to have a plumber come by and fix our shower plumbing connections, and we ran into an issue with scheduling as his main plumber was on a job in Milwaukee at the time. He notified us that he will ask his other client if it was ok if he can have his plumber on our site that day, else it would take 2 days. While this changed the timeline at a negligible level, his honesty in how he discussed this situation, and his attempt at solving the problem built a lot of trust with us and Ramis. Every single member of his team was licensed, insured and bonded, and since the bathroom job Ramis has always been helpful with the multiple times I've called him about other issues.

9/10; would recommend!…read more I hired the America's Flooring team when I moved into a new house and needed locks changed. Initial contact: We stopped by the store and were introduced to Brian. He was very warm and personable (he recommended a lunch spot nearby that is now one of our favorites in the area!) He walked through all the details with us, gave us a bunch of advice (not in an overbearing way all though - which I'm sensitive to), and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Getting the work done: I was able to text Brian throughout and he texted to check to make sure things were going well, which was helpful. The project manager for the crew was on top of things and made sure everything was being done to our expectations. A team came first to rip out the old floor and then the installation crew came to level the floor and install carpet and hardwood. They paid attention to all the details and gave me options (with pricing) when they found unexpected issues in our new house. Everything was done on time and as expected. The quality of the installation was excellent - corners were sharp, no gaps or issues with the hardwood, carpet was installed really well, etc. The only concern I had was that the flooring people didn't take the molding they had to rip out/replace, which should have been thrown out; Brian had them take care of that after I reached out about the problem, so the issue was resolved (though it would have been nice if the crew had taken all the molding without me needing to intervene). Vibes: Brian, our sales rep / account manager, was wonderful. The crew was fine; they left toilet seats up in bathrooms when they left which isn't the end of the world but is a personal pet peeve and it made me feel like they didn't treat my house with full respect. Otherwise they were very orderly and cleaned up each day after leaving. Cost: Pricing was all competitive with other companies I considered. Overall: I'll likely be hiring them again! They're better than any other flooring company I've hired, and I've hired a few in the last 5 years.
