Always end up here after other places cancel, and every time the wait is the same!! When you walk in you are told to sit and wait for about 40 minutes before even being helped, I would much rather walk to stores than sit in a lobby! First time at this place and will be the last, these people do not speak to you at all! Their technique on on the pedicure was of an inexperienced person, the polish was uneven, didn't cover the nail. Very pathetic. The folks that said was a five star must work there. Stay away and go somewhere else. They did not sterilize their tools, they sprayed them! I would not give them 1 star but had to give them one star, otherwise I can't post this. I never write reviews but I definitely feel like this deserved one! I had Ken and he was awesome from start to end! I take a while when deciding what color I want and he was very patient with me throughout me changing my mind multiple times When he was doing the design he didn't like it the first time and redid it, I love how much of a perfectionist he is because I am as well!! I went in today around 2pm for a pedicure. Some young lady I believe did not know what she was doing did my pedicure. At approx 2:10 she said she was done, helped put on my flip flops and walked away. I went to register paid my $30.00 cash and left. Yes I should have bitched but didn't. The credit card machine had a sign stating " credit card machine broken" Same sign that was there 4 months ago. Wonder why it isn't fixed. Guess they don't want to pay 3% credit card company charges merchant for credit card usage. This will be my last time there. Yes I'm pissed but my fault should have said something to management. Oh well on me but this was a very bad experience. I hope vall won't go there!!!!! read more

Let me preface this by saying I am disabled, in an electric wheelchair. I don't get out often, chair goes in back lift, only a few people can take me in my car. I don't write reviews often & normally only good ones. I have had Ken doing my nails for a few years. No complaints. I called Thursday 9/24 for a Friday appointment. I was told by Ken''s son (recognized his voice) that Ken was booked Friday "but Saturday is completely open." So, I made an appointment today (9/26). I called this morning to confirm the time and a young lady saId, "yes, your appointment is at __ today with Ken." I came in at the time, I was not one minute late, and Ken's son says "what you need". The waiting area was crowded 4-5 people. I said I am here for appointment now with Ken. He told me "Ken went to the West Coast for the winter. He isn't coming back for awhile". Told him appointment made Thursday (by him) confirmed this AM. "Well, he is gone, you can wait if you want". With 4-5 others ahead? No thank you. A good customer for several years, no complaints, but they lost my business. I was also very very upset. It may be a while before I can get out again. Very disappointing! read more

They have gone completely down hill! I think they are hiring girls off the street to do pedicures! I went in there last week because my daughter and her mother in law all wanted to get pedicures...I really did not want to go but they did so I went...I had to wait over an hour , even though they said 15 minutes, they stuck me in the chair with water, the water was cold by the time the girl came...I asked her how long she had been working there. She said only a few weels, she had no licence and was not apprentusing. She worked at Micky Finns during the summer and was , now doing this too. She is leaving to go back to her country this month! This might be the worst pedicure I have ever received in my life. A young, inexperienced woman did my pedicure and if I didn't know any better that was her first day on the job. She literally took an hour to cut my toe nails and that is no exaggeration. Everyone who walked out with me from the salon was saying the same. Another old woman was yelling at customers to sit down and put the nail polish on the table, including a little girl getting her first pedicure ever. I literally would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I am giving 2 stars bc at least the man up front managed to get my fingernails right. However, I also paid for a manicure and didn't get my cuticles cut down or a soak or lotion massage so not sure why I was charged for a manicure. read more

My 1st and last experience at this salon. 1st, the male nail tech had no customer service skills.. He never said hi, no conversation acted as if I was bothering him. 2nd, the tools he used were not sanitized. He took them out if a ceramic cup. 3rd the place was freezing and so run down. 4th my nails were coffin shape now they are square. He never asked to modify them. 5th, he just painted them, no offer for designs just said okay done. 6th the acrylic is so cheap 3 nails have broken already. No nice nails for me. 3 weeks ago I went in for my first gel polish. The girl did a beautiful job. Polish lasted 3 weeks and my nails were hard as rocks. Went in today to have polish off and due to surgery could not have new polish. An older man used a drill to remove the majority of the polish and then again after soaking. When he changed drill heads to file my nails is when things turned UGLY. He got out a clipper and totally cut my long nails to the nubs and then used the coarsest file to ruin my nail-bed and cuticles. I literally have no nails left. Had to walk to Ulta Beauty to get a smoothing file. read more

Went in without during research for a quick mani/pedi. As the other reviews state, I was charged more than my other party was it the staff adjusted it without me asking. In other news the mani was just plain bad. Basically my cuticles are now painted over which of course, causes chipping prematurely. The entire time I kept asking him to revisit places where my cuticles were still there and I finally gave up when he bag a painting. At one point, when he looked down, I fixed my own thumb nail cuticle with my other nail and asked him to clean it up. Like why am I being charged $50 in ocean city for this bs? In Miami I don't even pay more than 40 for a mani pedi booooooo to this place. My sister was a little more pleased with hers and noted she really liked the massage but for me it's just clean and paint my nails correctly for a good price, the rest are extras. Nice looking salon, cheap pricing, and some of the staff was great. Went with a friend and her lady was awesome and did a great job. The guy who did mine however... filed all my nails super short and then did the white in my French manicure super thick so my nails look tiny and weird. He cut my finger trimming my cuticles, and then painted some blood into the clear polish (thought it would wash off but it was legit painted in). 24 hours later they're chipped and horrible looking. Glad my special occasion was right away. I hate posting such things because the other staff seemed great. But very disappointed. read more

I recently went on vacation to Ocean City, Maryland and had no time to do a mani and pedi. Since we arrived early for hotel check in I took the opportunity to get it done. I went to Instagram to look for nail salons in ocean city and Nice nails came up. They had great work on their insta so I called and was given an appointment for as long as it would take me to get there. A man did my nails he was the brother of the owner. He was super nice and we had a great conversation about travel. I really liked him. Unfortunately, my manicure was not the greatest, my husband was not impressed. I paid $65 for gel manicure and regular manicure. My nails started cracking three days later. I should have returned but at first I thought it was something on my nails since they are painted white. I gave 2 stars because the tech was so nice . I usually have gel for at least 2 weeks. I wish I could post a pic but i dont know how. read more

Friendly staff, work is nicely done but I have to say my nails turned pinkish after a week. I got the gel French manicure. I do a lot of dishes and work with my hands as I am an engineer but my nails hasn't turned pink from other nail shops. I was only in the area visiting. They told me the only person who could was on bak and I could come back in 2 hours when she'd be back. I was pissed off. Rude and snobby! I went in looking for shellac and eye brow wax and no one greeted me when I walked in...as a matter of fact one of the employees walked right passed me and didn't speak. I was told to grab a color and once I had selected my color I left standing there for 5 minutes with my arms folded and annoyed. I am here from New York on vacation. My friend, and I went on a girls day and wanted to get our nails done so we decided to come to this place as we saw it here at the beginning of the week. I honestly am more then impressed with this place. This is the best manicure I've had. I had a girl named Andrea who made my experience so worth it. She helped me pick out my color (I got a gel manicure), and the price was perfect! She talked to me the entire time, and I highly recommend her! Would not recommend this place at all. Came in with my husband for pedicures for us both. We were both seated at the same time and less than 10 minutes later, my husband's pedicure was OVER. What?! The lady that did his feet not only rushed through his sloppy pedicure, but also cut his toe to the point where it would not stop bleeding. The man doing my pedicure applied Neosporin and a bandaid to his toe, but should your feet ever look WORSE than they did when you came in? After complaining, the guy doing my feet offered to give my husband $5 off of his $30 pedicure. Mine was $29, but I still don't understand how an 8 minute men's pedicure is more expensive than a woman's. The only good thing I can really say about my pedicure was that the massage felt good on my swollen, pregnant feet. Just horrible! The girl doing my nails had no idea how to file nails. Left all the edges jagged. I had to take her nail file and do it myself. The color selection was extremely limited. The polish was applied in thick layers and started peeling and chipping within 2 hours of the mani. Max was recommended to me. I went the first time and was not greeted. When someone greeted me finally I told them I wanted Max. She seated me near Max and gave me bowls for soaking. I did not think she understood me. I had overheard Max say he had another appointment and would not be able to take me for a few hours or the next day because he was booked. Finally my girls and I have the opportunity to get our nails done on vacation. We searched around to find Nice nails. I am all about A-1 customer service. My first encounter was a somewhat friendly greeting. One of the women that serviced my youngest daughter gave the impression, she was ready to go home. The other lady who replaced 2 nails for me had an attitude and was very unfriendly. I also didnt appreciate the sarcastic remark as I was paying and attempted to give a tip to the one person that did my oldest nails . He was very nice. The impression I got; to my surprise, was exactly how they were acting because as soon as we left....the salon was closing. Customer service is everything to me. The last customer should be as important as the 1st. They didnt have a problem taking my money. BTW, the price for a pedicure is tripled fr the average price. read more

I am in West OC almost every weekend, but typically get my nails done back home in Bel Air during the week. I was spending a few weeks down here and needed to get them done so I asked some of my local friends where to go...none of them said here, but I was shopping at Marshalls for a few things and it was 4th of July weekend so I didn't want to drive around on 50 and more than necessary so I stopped in. My main complaints are (1) The price for the quality don't line up! I paid $72 plus tip for a gel mani and regular (callus removing) pedi and while my mani is still intact 4 days later, the polish mysteriously came off of 2 of my toes a day or two later and a few more are chipping. My pedis from home last 3-4 weeks. (2) She cut the skin of my toes in 2 different places next to my nails when clipping my cuticles/skin next to my nails. I've never noticed my nail tech doing this before and I always get compliments on my toes so I don't really think it was necessary. read more
