Got an acrylic gel set. They started to come off due to improper application and were showing scratches after two weeks.

My wife and I celebrated my 1 year retirement. Stopped here to get a good foot massage and pedicure. I wasn't impressed. For $55, it felt rushed, less than 30 mins. Only 1 other person waiting. She did do everything that you would normally get but massage my feet, maybe 10 rubs each and 10-15 on the calves, blah. They did break open a box of scents,scrubs, and lotions, which did do a great job refreshing my feet. Towels were hot but not scorching like some I've had. I'll probably go back but I believe were they really shine is with there nails and manicures. Many ladies we know go there. 2 hours later and my feet do feel soft.lol. read more

I think Amy is incredible.. I had the best mani/pedi and she does freehand Hawaiian artwork that looks incredible. Amy takes such pride in her work and you never feel rushed !!! Amy gets what I like opaque pale pink nails , with summer inspired nail art , with a little bright and glitter, like a 70's disco ball . I am continually asked , "Where do you get your nails done? went there for regular pedicures which was $45 + $5 for gel somehow when it came time to pay my total got raised to $60 and then there front desk lady argued witj saying " they told me the price multiple times which she said " $50 " ..i paid the $60 and i will never return again !! I'm sorry but the experience I had today was not good at all. I sat for 40 mins in cold water before my lady got to me. I had an appointment and they took two ladies before me. Staff was very nice. They actually talk to you and ask your name. The nails were on point. They look very professional. All of them had a cute little shirt-like smock on over their regular shirt that flaunted the business name. The shop was clean and the prices were good. For eyebrows, pedicure, nail cut down and crystal fill with gel polish I paid $63. At my old salon I paid $60 for just pedicure and fill in, that was not that great, and NO eyebrow. This is the second time I've had a bad experience with this nail salon the first time I got a regular manicure and the very very next day all the nail polish had come off my nails. Every single nail. Today I went and got a regular manicure. Again, I picked out a nail color and the nail polish was very thick and at the very bottom of the bottle. When I brought it to the technician's attention she said, "oh I can fix that" and proceeded to put acetone in the nail polish in front of me. Well that does not take care of an old used up nail polish. Hence the picture showing exactly what happens to your nails. I sat under the dryer for 15 minutes waiting for it to dry. I am not happy with this at all. I never write bad reviews but I have come to see that nail places are charging more and getting cheap in their products. She barely cut my cuticles so I had to say something about that too. She was more worried about what the technician next to us was doing with her client and barely massaged my hand. Paid $15.00 for so called manicure and $ 5.00 tip. Couldn't be bothered with me. She did try to get me to do gel, pedicure and eyebrow wax. Thank goodness I didn't! I would probably be looking like a clown. Also, before anyone says you should get gel, I cannot because I take oral chemo everyday. Sorry, but will not be back again. The service and nails are good here. I got a pedicure with gel polish and it turned out fine. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was just a few atmosphere/hygiene things. There was a bad smell over by where the pedicures were...it was by the break room and bathroom so not sure if it was coming from there but at any rate it was a little unpleasant but not enough to not come back or anything. Secondly there were tons of flies. I just thought that was really weird. So the whole time I'm getting a pedicure these flies are landing all over everyone's legs, a little odd. Lastly, maybe the nail place i go to back home is just different but at my normal spot they use little disposable pumice stones and the cuticle oil is in a squirt bottle that they rub on. Here they used the same foot scrub pumice on multiple people which i felt kinda weird about. All in all it was nothing i couldn't deal with and the work was nice but i wouldn't say it's 5 stars. read more

This was the second salon I've tried while I've lived here in Salisbury for the last 4 years and I have to say this has to be my favorite place. Staff is very nice during their slow and their busy hours. Excellent pricing considering the amazing work that they do. Shaping of the nails is spot on and they take everything that you ask for seriously. Pedicures are nice and relaxing, & their massage chairs that you sit in to receive pedicures are awesome. Kevin is by far my favorite nail tech & I come so often to see him he automatically knows to come service me, I don't even have to ask for him anymore! He's extremely professional and takes pride in his nail work. Although there are some aspects about the store that I think need to be worked on (upgraded nail colors, actual gel nail sets & not just powder with a gel polish) I feel that Kevin's presence makes up for it. I called to make an appointment, 2 hours before closing and they told me they weren't taking appointments. I found that rude, and it shows they aren't interested in making customers happy.
