When you first walk in, the salon does feel somewhat factory‑like with many stations, but the staff was surprisingly attentive. I came in for an acrylic fill, and they took the time to explain a different technique they use. It's still acrylic, just not the traditional powder method, and I appreciated how thoughtful they were about my cuticles and the length, since they had grown out quite a bit. They also made sure the shape worked well with the condition my nails were in. The entire experience was very pleasant, right down to the hot hand towels. Also, I paid extra for reflexology but I'm afraid I received a massage instead. Not sure anyone is certified in pressure points but oh well. Finally, I asked for round-shaped nails and got square with rounded edges. Needless to say, I will not return to this sort of factory salon experience where your requests are ignored. It feels sterile and price-point oriented not customer-centered.

I visited Ocean Nails while on vacation in Ocean City. The salon was very clean, organized, and had…read morea welcoming atmosphere, which made a great first impression. The staff was polite, but unfortunately, the service didn't meet my expectations. There were only two technicians working on four customers , my husband MIL,SIL and myself, so the appointments felt rushed. My pedicure wasn't very thorough even for others the soles of our feet were barely scrubbed, leaving rough areas that I expected would be smoothed out. My husband also noticed several hanging pieces of dead skin around his nails that weren't trimmed or cleaned up, making the finished pedicure look incomplete. The technician happily did it again. I understand they were busy, but I would have preferred more attention to detail, especially for the price of $370 which doesn't even include tip, I expected a bit better experience. With more time spent on each customer, this salon has the potential to provide a much better experience because the cleanliness and atmosphere are already there. Just wished they were more thorough and more techs.
