I got there at 10:26, was called to start appointment at 10:38 and was done with my full set acrylic by 12:40. All in all I had a good experience. My nails came out looking almost exactly like the pic. I was most impressed that she was able to get the French manicure likes so even free hand. The vibe at the salon is a busy/active one. The music played while I was there was Latin & Top 40. There is one TV. They thankfully had the close caption on so I could entertain myself my watching that. Another reviewer said they offer you a beverage of your choice. I was not offered anything before, during or after. Included are my before and after pix. Alanis took some at different points in the service. I wanted to include them in this review. If she send them to me than I will update. I gave them 4 stars because they're one of the better options for the area. I'd love to find a NY/NJ quality spot here but I'm not sure I will. I had an amazing Platinum HydraFacial with the talented and kind Esthetician Madelyn Dempsey (pictured in the top center of my collage) A week later I returned and she expertly dyed my eyelashes for the holidays! Is this place addictive? Because next week I'm going back for a consultation with Amanda Donaway about a few other little things I'd like to improve! This place is some kind of wonderful and I'm so glad it's right here at the beach! When the gift card was bought, they were told it was good for an hour massage + gratuity. I tried to book my massage online and it kept saying it was $95. I was confused because I was told it was a $55 massage (gift card had $68). I called in and spoke to Natalie and explained that I was upset because the gift card wasn't good for the massage it was intended for. The person who bought it would not have randomly said they wanted $68 on a gift card. Natalie told me it was fine and the online booking system can be weird sometimes and that the gift card will work for the massage! I was happy so I booked it on the phone with her. During this, Natalie had to of had my information pulled up to see that I was there in September.. Fast forward to after my massage, Mackenzie told me my total... which was $95. I didn't have the extra $40 to spend on a massage in which I was told was $55. I was told that it's only $55 every six months? I explained what I was told and after a few minutes the manager told her to just charged me the $55 price. During this, I received no apology for the miscommunication that was solely on their part. Why would I book a $95 massage if I didn't have the money? Very unsatisfied with the service from the front desk today.
