Before my most recent service, I showed the nail technician a photo of exactly what I wanted. I specifically asked him before we started whether he was able to do the design, and I made it clear that if he couldn't, that was completely fine--I would simply choose something else. He assured me that he could do it. Once he began working on the design, I immediately noticed that it wasn't looking like the inspiration picture. I spoke up and told him that what he was doing was not the design I had shown him. Instead of stopping to discuss it with me or making adjustments, he told me that he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the finished nails were nowhere near what I requested. I understand that a recreation may not be 100% identical to an inspiration photo, but there is a significant difference between a slight variation and receiving something that does not resemble the requested design or quality. What makes this even more disappointing is that this is not the first time I have experienced dissatisfaction with the same nail technician. I have given this business multiple opportunities because I had been a loyal customer for two years. Previously, after another disappointing experience, I was asked to return and was told that I would receive a free fill. When I returned two weeks later, I was not given the complimentary fill I had been promised. Instead, I was only given a 20% discount. After receiving that discount, I was also asked to remove the review I had previously posted, which I did at the time. I will not be removing this review. This time, I had to go to another salon and pay to have my nails corrected. I went to Elegant by Nails, and I am extremely pleased with how they were able to fix them and give me a result much closer to what I originally wanted. I am including the photos so others can make their own judgment After two years of supporting Color Me Nail and giving them more than one opportunity to correct disappointing experiences, I have decided that I will not be returning. I value businesses that listen to their customers, are honest about what they can and cannot do, and handle concerns professionally when something goes wrong. Every visit, I was given a different explanation as to why the service could not be done. One employee specifically told me that my lash removal would be free because of the inconvenience and because the state inspector was in the building. However, I was turned away again. Today, I finally had the lash removal done. I spoke directly with the owner about the inconsistent information, the repeated trips, and what her employee had promised. Unfortunately, the owner dismissed my concerns and showed no interest in resolving the issue or acknowledging the poor customer service I experienced. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but I expect clear communication and professionalism, especially as a returning customer. I hope the salon improves how it communicates with customers and handles concerns in the future.

She cut them down a little, and it seemed like it was going to be fine. And somehow I ended up with all the gel off and my natural nails are incredibly short, flimsy and splitting. I have to start all over now... I started crying in the chair once I realized because I was shocked. I said "too short" and she just kept saying something like "yes, long beautiful"... like what???? I've decided to go here as opposed to other salons mainly because of its close location to my home…read more A few friends of mine have actually recommended that I go here & I actually like it a lot! I have had one bad experience though, which was today. The last two times I've gone I've tried new trends that I've seen online, which is one thing I appreciate about Pro Nails. They keep up with the new trends such as the chrome nails & the glow in the dark nails (both of which I've tried now.) They really listen to what you want most of the time & take your requests seriously. Today however, I was going in to get a new set of nails for my trip to Philadelphia tomorrow. It was a gentleman who worked on my nails today as well as the last time, which is why I wanted to see him again, but I don't know his name. I asked him if he could SOAK MY NAILS OFF, he shakes his head yes, then proceeds to use a nail extension to remove them (by sliding them underneath my last set of nails) which resulted in a lot of pain, plus some removal of my own thumb nail on my left hand which left me bleeding. He then proceeds to file my nails, which I politely asked him to not touch my thumb nail that he just damaged. He then FILES IT ANYWAY, lightly, but still not listening to me. I then ask him for a bandaid since it's clear that my thumb is bleeding, & he acts as if he can't hear/understand me??? Um HELLO! He finishes the rest of my nails, which turned out beautifully, & then tells me that I can come see him in a few days to fix my thumb nail after it heals. The only reason why I'm mad with this experience is that this all could have been avoided if he had just listened. I will post photos of my current & past sets of nails from them.
