My nail came off literally only a week after I got it done and it did not break off from me hitting it,it broke off just out of nowhere and only the fake tip that they put on with glue came off. MEANING they did not put it on correctly or not enough glue.which happened while she was doing my nails with another finger and she had to re-glue it . Not to mention my nails were poorly done and I had to ask for her to go over the pink because it was blotchy and had streaks. Don't sleep on the Pro Nails gang. My original thought was skeptical cause they only had 2 and some poor reviews, but it was Sunday at 5 (they closed at 6). I used to come here for years to get my eyebrows and nails and a pedicure. I feel like the staff has completely changed. I go to another salon now but came in on a Sunday because I really needed my nails done for a cookout and my new nail salon was closed. I got a gel manicure on acrylic and not even a week later I have chips and a little breakage. Used this place for the first time today. Please believe me DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. The nail technicians have no idea what they are doing. Several nails were crooked and the polish was old and clumpy. The technician said it was my nails not the polish!? Then the technician got up from the table went in the back and did not return. She left me sitting at the the table waiting for her to fix my nails. Management did nothing. I may have lost money on this but hopefully people will see this and it will save them money in the long run. read more

I've decided to go here as opposed to other salons mainly because of its close location to my home. A few friends of mine have actually recommended that I go here & I actually like it a lot! I have had one bad experience though, which was today. The last two times I've gone I've tried new trends that I've seen online, which is one thing I appreciate about Pro Nails. They keep up with the new trends such as the chrome nails & the glow in the dark nails (both of which I've tried now.) They really listen to what you want most of the time & take your requests seriously. Today however, I was going in to get a new set of nails for my trip to Philadelphia tomorrow. It was a gentleman who worked on my nails today as well as the last time, which is why I wanted to see him again, but I don't know his name. I asked him if he could SOAK MY NAILS OFF, he shakes his head yes, then proceeds to use a nail extension to remove them (by sliding them underneath my last set of nails) which resulted in a lot of pain, plus some removal of my own thumb nail on my left hand which left me bleeding. He then proceeds to file my nails, which I politely asked him to not touch my thumb nail that he just damaged. He then FILES IT ANYWAY, lightly, but still not listening to me. I then ask him for a bandaid since it's clear that my thumb is bleeding, & he acts as if he can't hear/understand me??? Um HELLO! He finishes the rest of my nails, which turned out beautifully, & then tells me that I can come see him in a few days to fix my thumb nail after it heals. The only reason why I'm mad with this experience is that this all could have been avoided if he had just listened. I will post photos of my current & past sets of nails from them. They do amazing work! But I'd recommend having one of the women work on you.. my very first time I had Ling (I think her name is) & she was wonderful. read more

STAY AWAY!!! They use very cheap polish that peels right off! Had the nerve to raise prices and not worth it! I will never go back! Duke did my nails and the lady you see when you first walk in declined for my nails to be repainted 1 day after a fill in. It was cluttered and disgusting and they all talked very loud and were not attentive to what they were doing. I got a pedicure and my lady was so rough she was also VERY rude. When I got there I was seated immediately, which I thought was kinda odd beings there were others in there waiting and I didn't have an appointment. A lady came over to me, dove right into my nails didn't even ask me what color or anything so I let her do her thing, I then show her a picture of what I wanted, she said she didn't know how to do that. The pink she brought over was not the pink I asked for. I asked if she had another pink color and she just smiled at me and kept painting couldn't even understand what I was asking. So she starts painting my nails the paint was MESSY. She in fact tried to do the design on my nails but it just overall was a hot mess. As I'm sitting there I'm looking around and everything is just dirty. The acrylic bottles, the floor had trash all over it, and not to mention she took her shoes off and they were stretched under the table almost touching me then after my nails being on for a week they start falling off!!! Very nasty attitude because I asked for a different person to do my eyebrows and Tina said she was busy, but I was in there first at 9:30 am and asked when I sat down for a pedicure I asked for her...After getting my nails done at 11:15 she refused to do my eyebrows...The fact that the service gets bad when you don't let them do what designs they want on your nails or don't want any at all, or refuse to let the same person complete all your services. read more

Went in for pedicure and fill in. Lady asked me if I wanted gel. I said no, just acrylic fill in. The gentleman asked me if I wanted gel, I said no. The lady then said i recommend gel. It will last longer. I said no, I've had gel before and its hard to get off. She must have recommended gel two more times. Then the gentleman told me that my full set (which they put on last month) needed to be taken off and put back on. This cost an extra $10. I don't even know where to start. I wanted an acrylic set with black nail polish and a matte coat. The set itself is $25 plus $2 extra for the matte, that's doable. Where everything went wrong is when the guy stopped half way before the painting process to make me pay and tried to charge me $42. $42 for some nails? No way, so I asked what exactly am I bring charged for. He said he was going to do gel which I told them I DID NOT WANT. And they argued with me about that for a few minutes. Also when I was getting the acrylic on and I said what shape I wanted. Depending on the shape, you're charged even more. I can see if I wanted an almond/claw like shape but all I wanted was a squoval shape and that was $5 extra! Throughout the entire procress be was rude. Swatting my hands and fingers and roughly grabbing my hands. After he finished painting my nails he came back with the receipt and tried to force me to write a tip. After I said no he threw his pen down which hit my wet nails and got mad at me because he messed them up. Not only that but the nails are square and clumpy looking. If i could rate them less than 1 star I would. I have always been a satisfied costumer, until last night. I needed a fill-in and my daughter anted her nails painted. They werent busy, AT ALL. TOM did my horrendous fill. My nails are 3 different shapes when all i asked for was square! I told him every step of the process what I was unhappy with. Pointed out the size difference in my nails before he painted them. After filing and buffing he never even had my wash my hands. So by this point im fuming. He again tells me they can fix it NEXT time. Which honestly sent me over the edge. I told him, i need them done correctly the first time, not the next time. I even showed 2 customers my nails so that i could verify my complaints were legit. TINA heard the commotion i guess and said she will fix them. HAHA. She takes a file and doesnt even file the nails that needed it. She filed the color and matte top coat off so much so you can see the nail underneath. I bring it to her attention she said oh did you want me to fix that? i said are you fkn kidding me? yes i want you to fix it why should i tell you to fix what you see is flawed?? Tells me when i come back in theyll take them off for free. UM WHAT?!?! So im saving 5 bucks? FUCK THAT. Its dirty as hell in there anyway!
