I've been going to this salon for a couple years now, I'm a regular customer that gets dip fill ins every 3 weeks on the dot. I've gotten my fingernails & toenails done by a variety of their nail techs over the years. This year they brought in a wonderful nail tech named Leo who has quickly become the only tech I want doing my fingernails. Leo outdid himself with my current set of nails ‍. I showed him an example photo from Pinterest & he went to work. These are the summer nails of my dreams . He told me he could do anything, & after these nails I truly believe him now lol. Leo is also very affordable for the incredible work he does. If you're anywhere near West OCMD, hit up Leo at Venus Nails II for some killer nails! If you're wanting a pedicure they're amazing here too, my preferred tech is Anthony for my toes. I brought my boyfriend with me last month for us to get pedicures together & it was a great experience. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for my nail home. I found it when I went to Venus Nails II. I am very fussy about my nails and Holly exceeded all expectations, the salon was clean and the staff friendly. Would def recommend. read more

I am currently staying in OCMD for the week and would not recommend this place. When I called to book an appointment, two employees had answered the phone screaming. When I had arrived, the employee, Anthony, had shouted for me to come sit in his chair. Then while getting my nails done, he told me I had "ugly nails" and "ugly hands". Then while I was waiting for my friend to be done getting her manicure as well, Anthony was shouting at another employee, I believe her name was Kayla, about booking an appointment for someone. All around, for $40 plus a tip, I would not recommend this, as my manicure was messy and the overall treatment and moral of this place was beyond disappointing. By the way, this place ONLY takes cash or check and has a sign right in front plus an ATM within the building. It was an odd experience to say the least- when I gave my nail technician the $40 plus his tip, he had just pocketed it and not put it into their cash register: read more

Never will I step foot in this salon again. I have gone here twice a month for a couple of years. They never really talk to you, always on phone or talking amoung themselves. Called Kayla to make appointment with her because Holly is out of the country. Appointment was with Kayla, when I get there she acted surprised and said I made appointment with anyone because she had some plans....I have only gone to Kayle or Holly period. BUT, DON'T YOU WORRY KAYLA.....I will never be back. read more

I had an appointment and they took a walk in before me when i was there on time. I didn't get into a chair till 20 minutes after the appointment time. The nails are very chunky and not at all what i asked for. I asked for the shape to be fixed and it wasn't. I paid way over what these are worth. Every time I said anything the lady didn't respond instead she laughed and started talking to the other technician. read more

Though the salon is beautiful, the prices are outrageous. There is No Sign stating cash only. They have an ATM with a $1.00 surge charge. Went for a gel Pedi, that is $63. The deluxe Pedi is $65. They charged an additional $20 for the gel polish. Mind you I had nothing on my toe nails when I arrived. To charge $20.00 for gel polish is ridiculous. My total for 2 pedicures was $170. Never Ever again. And don't bother making an appointment, they tell everyone that calls to come in even though the place is packed with walk-ins read more

Modern equipment, well trained staff, moderate prices, and first rate service. Everyone was very friendly and we got the best pedicures ever. The salon is rather new, so the chairs are all new and very comfortable. The work was done meticulously, and we enjoyed our visit. read more

The girl that did my pedicure was very nice and kind. The Asian woman that did my manicure and dip polish was very unfriendly and skipped the steps. The dip base coat and top coat. Either for cost or time or both. She was quite in pleasant and unprofessional. And speared to be in charge of the salon that day. Did not introduce herself or thank you for your patronage. The salon was also unkept. And would not go back there. Several patrons came back while I was there for a nail repair from their previous services. read more

I'm mad my nails turned out so well living 3 hours away. I've been getting my nails done fairly consistently for years and I received one of the best fill ins/ acrylic fix I've ever had. Very clean establishment, lots of colors to pick from. Anytime I need my nails done in OC I will be coming here!!! read more

This place is absolutely terrible. Don't go here if you want decent nails done. Also the staff are not friendly

I have come here twice now for dip on my nails and both times I received fast and attentive service. The staff is kind and personable, Kayla was amazing!! The interior is very clean and well kept. My nails held up flawlessly for about three weeks after my first appointment. Will be returning again and again and recommending to my friends. Thank you guys, you're all awesome!! read more

Very nice pedi. Well spaced out. Masks on. Did not seem overly clean though. Biggest down side was the owners toddler running around. Sorry. I'm not amused by this. It's annoying when you are spending $35 for a pedi. read more

This place has a toxic acrylic smell and kinda dirty. Plus appointments mean nothing because they take walk ins instead and make u wait. They do a so so job after u get in. I would not come back. read more

Just spent $90 (not including tip) on the worst dip manicure and regular pedicure ever. I've been getting dip for 7 years and not only did they apply the dip wrong but it was finished in 20 minutes. No one cleaned my cuticles and under my nail beds has dirt in it. My regular pedicure is uneven and you can see streak marks. I'm now out over $100. Never again. read more

Shady operation. BEWARE CASH ONLY & no prices listed anywhere! Their own ATM I personally watched them fill (hello robbery?!) with a service fee. No cash app payments. No mention of CASH ONLY when I made my appointment. They were 25min late taking me for my appointment-which I arrived 5 min early for. Did not see them sanitize/clean stations or tools. BEWARE. Feel bad for the wonderful lady that serviced me. Did not give her as generous of a tip because I had limited cash. If this is how they treat their customers imagine how they treat their employees. Will not be back. read more

Best salon in the area by far. Employees are all incredibly hard working and thorough. I've never left the salon unsatisfied, perfect service each and every time. Highly suggest trying this place out, beautiful work. read more

The absolute worst nail salon in Maryland. My friend got a manicure and all of her acrylics fell off within DAYS. When we called to advise the nail salon and ask if they could kindly redo the set. They said yes. We drove there, the man said I am not doing all of that. How unprofessional- very poor quality nail service and customer service. read more

Ask for Kevin! He's so thorough and patient; does nails right without taking shortcuts.

Didn't look or feel anything like the website description of "luxury." Wasting time and money can ruin your day. Sloppy pedicure, poor reception, not clean enough, old bottles of nail polish offered in limited colors, nail technician texting on her phone, and a tiny sign that says "cash or check only for..." The sentence isn't finished, so I assumed for tips. But no, cash only for services. Cash only is a bad sign; either a shady business or too cheap to pay for credit services. Won't be back. Also, everyone looked dumpy and unprofessional, which added to the less-than-clean and luxurious feel that was advertised. read more

NEVER WILL I EVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!! The guy who did my nails COULDNT sit still for the life of him!!! I honestly believe he was on coke or something because he was moving every which way as well as sweating like crazy and it wasn't even cold!!! My nails look like complete crap!!! I'm beyond mad... when I got into my car I was ready to cry because of how bad they look!!! They're lumpy and look terrible!!! I'm beyond upset and sooooo disappointed!!! I work hard for my money and my 9 year old could have probably done better and it would have cost me wayyyyy less!!!! I'm beside myself at this point!!! Save yourself money and go somewhere else!!!! Or do them yourself because ANYTHING would look better than what he just did to my nails!!! He destroyed them!!! They're hideous!!!! read more

The salon was clean and very comfortable. They had a wide array of colors to choose from. The nail tech paid great attention to detail and I was very happy with gel manicure. read more

My nails were done well, however, my daughter's cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding...all 10 fingers. We asked for a refund and were offered a redo. After painful removal of a bad paint job. A successful French manicure was done. Don't let grandpa do your nails! It's time for him to retire. they did try their best to make it right, however, their should never be bloodshed during a manicure. read more

Venus Nails II is a very clean nail instillments are warped and sterilized and my nail tech Irma took her time and did a great job!

I've been to this salon 7 or 8 times but I've had enough and I'm taking my business across the street. The technicians often talk on the phone while doing my nails. I wouldn't mind so much except that they don't do a good job while so distracted. Yesterday my technician only said "What?" When I greeted her and then closed our appointment with "move to that chair." She left my nails uneven and rough. The good news is that I now know all about her friend's love life! read more

The first time I went I had an excellent experience. Second time, not so much. I made an appointment for 1:30 pm, when I got there I sat for 10 minutes before getting helped and finally was given the gel color choices. I sat for 45 minutes without being even sat in a chair to get started, I would've sat for longer but had to leave. read more

The people that are there seem very hard working and nice but I won't go back. The mani pedi was very basic-bottom of feet never touched. $50, I thought it was expensive. Manicure was very basic. Polish started coming off on fifth day. There was a newborn that was brought out of the employees work room into the main room where they do full sets, etc. There was a active great 2 year old son of the managers that ran around the salon and then he ran around with scissors and all the patrons screamed stop. The mother than said we have to lock him up. He was in the back room screaming for 15 minutes until they took him out. I understand how difficult child care is- but I was glad to leave. read more

Very nice place and price was great. Technicians were very good and Quality nail polishes.

This rating is not a reflection of the outstanding job the tech did on my nails. Until this review I did not have a negative comment about Venus; however, my recent visit changed that. By accident of course, I dropped a nail polish on the floor and it broke. I apologized and the tech was very nice and it was cleaned up. My tech was busy when I was leaving so I gave my money to another tech a young man. He counts my money and very unprofessionally says very loud...Hey, you owe $20 for that bottle of polish you broke! First, you can buy OPI lacquer online for $5 and second, you talk about rude and poor customer service for the manner in which he addressed this situation. I paid it and did not comment but that will be my last visit to this salon that is already suffering due to Covid! read more
