Every year since kindergarten eight years ago, the three of us enjoy all that Nicasio pumpkin patch has to offer. It's always gorgeous and every year a little bit better with additions and we've equally enjoyed every year . Feedback would be to have fans every weekend, Saturday and Sunday instead of just two and the entire season . And although there are adequate honey buckets and sinks, they are located quite a distance from the food trucks so it would be nice to have just a washing station where the band plays and the food tracks are maybe next year You can buy eggs here and sometimes pick produce . It's such a chill vibe, and in the most gorgeous setting of any pumpkin patch you'll ever see.

    Amazing selection and adventure.

WOW! I was unprepared for the amazing find at Nicasio Valley pumpkin patch. It's an authentic family run venture with great pumpkin selection, but that's not all. We spent nearly 3 hours...pony rides, Facepainting, hay rack ride, corn maze, petting zoo and more. My only regret is that we didn't come earlier in the day and enjoy some barbecue! This is worth the drive to get here... Which by the way is incredibly scenic. My kids have been off devices all afternoon. I love it!

    Pumpkins!

This place was just beautiful! There were so many different kinds of pumpkins, that it was so hard to choose from. This is the first pumpkin patch that I've seen that has a LIVE band and a really good one too! Bbq food, ice cream etc. There were hay bales (perfect to pose with for the 'gram) and lots of pumpkins that were just so unique (also perfect for the 'gram). It's such a big open space that I didn't feel crowded compared to the ones in the city. + the staff were sooo nice and helpful! Definitely coming back next year.

Oct 11th. Available pumpkins for sale.

This place is always so beautiful and fun... but this year for 2020 all most all of it is gone. We checked it out today and there were maybe 20 pumpkins TOTAL in the entire patch/field. Usually there have been hundreds. Understandably almost everything else home or closed... the hay maze for kids, gone, no hay ride, no inflatables, no animal farm, no food things (that were open). Fortunately Petaluma pumpkin patch is not too much further of a drive and they had everything up and running - had pumpkins, food, a maze, etc. hopefully nicasio will get their act together again next year??

    The entire petting zoo

Yeah, this is pretty lame. We've been here 20 minutes and already have done everything. It's free admission bc every booth is pay or paid ticket. There is: a 36" tall hay bale maze, an old guy band, two timed bounce houses, an inflatable slide, laid out pumpkin patch, lawn mower train rides, and a standard tractor hay ride. The only thing that looked cool was the petting zoo but the line is past the potapottys so... If you live in Marin county this is an acceptable to do but coming from any other county is NOT advised. I wish more than one person since 2014 had said something, we would not have come.

The pricing is based on size which means most of the pumpkins are at least $10-$15. Some of the pumpkins looked good for picking but they were still on the vine, so I imagine people can only pick from the pre cut ones. They had a decent selection for mini pumpkins and gourds. The mini white pumpkins had some imperfections and started at $4 so I unfortunately decided to pass on them. There are some cute photo ops, and there's an ATM on site. The corn maze is probably one of their most popular attractions but my fiancé and I decided not to do it. There's a children's playground that's extra cost, some turkeys, chickens, lambs and horses in the pens. There are some stands for corn dogs, popcorn and lemonade. Lots of parking. I think what's nice about this pumpkin patch is it's free entry and you pay for the stuff you want to participate in/buy which is nice!

My daughter who just turn one was so intrigued with the jumpers but unfortunately could not go in unless she was 2. I think they should allow a toddler small section for the babies for family that have older kids and smaller kids to enjoy. She was only really about to see the petting zoo, and be in the corn pit. But kept walking bro the jumpers to admire the kids play. It can wet very hot here during October too especially peak afternoon, which is why we go early. Also expensive, tickets for everything, and then food separately. Hay ride was actually nice, they have set up in the back area you don't see but when the hay ride takes you there it's cool how they incorporated old house home teams for the skeletons.

There are tons of bounce houses, of which the smaller are included in the entrance fee and the larger ones cost $ to participate -- which a punch pass can be purchased for. We went on a Sunday. The price for adults was $7 each, and the price for our 7-year-old was $5. You get a stamp on your hand, but be careful because it easily washes off. I recommend getting stamped on your inner wrist. The food was expensive -- $30 for 3 tacos and 1 drink -- but I suppose that's to be expected at a venue such as this. A platter of Dino chicken nuggets and fries was $10, and the cotton candy was $8. Parking is free. Bathrooms are porta potties and gross, as you can imagine. Staff are friendly. The haunted trail is recommended for kids ages 12+, and I would agree that little kids should not be on this trail. It is more gory than it is haunted. There are several buildings along the trail, and may be 2-3 of the building could be seen as more haunted, but the rest of them were very gory. One was outright bloody (think scenes from Texas Chainsaw Massacre). The punch pass has no expiration date so can be used again at a future visit. The property is really large, so even though there are a lot of people, it doesn't feel extremely crowded even if the parking lot is packed. I would recommend this place for families who have older kids who aren't yet teenagers. And skip the haunted trail if you have a little ones with you.

A vast lawn of multicolored, glistening, glowing, beautifully pleasing paths of pumpkins. We two are pumpkin pals, and so this was a pumpkin heaven. There are so many lovelies to choose from, you think that you just never will find "yours" because they should ALL be yours - but as Brat will tell you, when you find the right one - you know. Suppose it's like a fine pastry in that way... Many many artists come together here to show off their talents, all of which are gifted. At first, you think a pumpkin is a pumpkin is a pumpkin - but once your eye adjusts, you start to realize that all pumpkins are not created equal. Brat's keen eye picked up on one maker last year, and I have to say - there are no finer wares than his. Nick Leonoff is the pumpkin Artist. He's got a way. When you see his, all the rest become the "other" pumpkins. Even if you're not a uber fan of gourds, winter squashes and the like, I highly recommend stopping by, there are glass blowing demonstrations and pie booths to satiate your appetite. And the view will make your soul happy :)

The First Annual Glass Pumpkin Harvest 2007 did not disappoint!…read more Several years ago I read about a Glass Pumpkin festival or harvest in Sunset magazine. I believe it was featuring artisans in and around Half Moon Bay. That crazy pumpkin adventure of Half Moon Bay has always frightened me with "thousands of people" attending each year, so when I discovered our very own little San Rafael was hosting the First Annual, I was ALL over it! A pumpkin patch would have been a more festive venue, but the green grass as a backdrop for all of the colored glass was really very pretty. Please refer to picture. There was not a color that I didn't find. Artists kept their own little patches of pumpkins tidy on the lawn of Falkirk and pumpkins lined the steps and interior of the Cultural Center as well. I saw people drinking mimosas, but I was not there for the food (surprise!). All of the pumpkins were for sale and there were prices to suit nearly everyone's budget. This year, my first year, I decided upon a traditional orange pumpkin. I carried my new friend in both hands and clasped tightly to my core. It was easy to spot kindred pumpkin lovers (both men and women alike) for they all held their new treasures like I did mine. There were some that were mere frivolous collectors or gift-givers that didn't understand the true meaning of harvest and gathered their gourds in plastic baskets jostling them about. Poor pumpkins! Though all of the artists had their own styles, Nick Leonoff was instantly my favorite. In 2008, you should come find your artist and next year, maybe, I'll get more crazy with a less traditional color.
