10/10 recommend Cassidy Ranch to anyone who wants a unique wine country experience. We rented the pickleball court for 1 hour. Online reservations were quick and easy. All the equipment was readily available and such a vibe! My friend purchased a DIY flower bouquet online reservation. Since I was leaving the next day to Hawaii, I picked fresh strawberries and they tasted like summer sunshine. After we hunkered down under an umbrella, drank some refreshments and watched the players who reserved the court after us. There was a private party who were also sharing the space and the owners were so kind and accommodating. I can't wait to return! Wish I could attend the Pilates and Pumpkin event tomorrow but I will be at another event.

I recently visited Cassidy Ranch with my colleagues and it was a wonderful experience! We were given a grand tour of the ranch where we learned about its history, the types of crops grown there, and the exciting plans it has for the future. The staff were extremely friendly and everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there which made the whole experience all the more special. After the tour my colleagues enjoyed some very exciting and competitive matches of pickleball My favorite activity was picking flowers and making bouquets. It was an immersive and relaxing experience and exactly what I needed after a long work week. I was very proud of the beautiful centerpiece I created using a large variety of flowers they had to offer. It was so pretty! Later on in the day we enjoyed a delicious lunch and spent time with Stella, the most adorable dog I have ever seen! Overall, it was a truly enjoyable experience and allowed my colleagues and I to strengthened the bond of our team. I highly recommend other companies bring their employees to the Ranch for team bonding. There's something for everyone and I can't imagine anyone not having a good time. I will also be bringing my family here to purchase fruits and veggies. The strawberries were delicious! I'm already planning my next visit :)

We had a grand time visiting Cassidy Ranch. Elizabeth the owner gave us a tour and we got to pick flowers and vegetables while Pablo (our dog) sniffed around. There is also a pickleball court you can reserve as well, something I plan to utilize often!

Such a cute farm with flower picking, U Pick produce, pickleball, and all around good vibes! Elizabeth was so friendly and sweet. Loved that she gave us a little tour of the place and we were able to learn about the produce they grow and how they also supply to Bi Rite market (so cool!) I cannot wait to visit this place again. What a gem.

This is an absolutely beautiful event space. We had a very special birthday party in the flower garden. They set up tables and table clothes for us and have a large walk in fridge on site for all the food and drink. They were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to make our event amazing. I cannot wait for another celebration, I will definitely be booking here again.

He generously offered us everything from gardening gloves, to pruners & gave us some great tips on how to best cut the flowers growing on his farm. The property and gardens are so immaculate and well tended to, it simply a joy to be surrounded by such natural beauty. Our one hour on the farm flew by so quickly but we enjoyed every second we were there, despite the scorching heat wave that was sweeping through wine country that weekend. It is a stunning location to take photographs and the flowers we brought home with us lasted a really long time! We look forward to returning to this beautiful farm in the near future. Lots and lots of tomato plants and sunflower plants. Lots of bees. As soon as you get there, there's a small red barn. We went straight to the barn and picked up some garden vegetables, Chinese long purple beans for 3 dollars and two eggplants and one green apple. A volunteer weighs the produce and you pay with a credit card. They had some zinnias and sunflowers for sale but an older woman got there upon opening and bought two buckets of it for 62 dollars and there were no more flowers to buy. I was there for an hour admiring the flowers and different varieties of gourds and vegetables growing. You can rent a private plot for 200 dollars and lots of elderly people were tending to their plants happily and chatted with us as we walked around. A lovely community garden beloved by the old and young. Definitely recommend a trip here and especially on Saturdays when you can get some super fresh garden produce. Cute place.

I really loved their strawberry lavender lemonade and shortbread thumbprint cookies! The cookies have a strawberry lavender jam center. The lemonade had a great balance of flavor and is so refreshing on a hot day. Turns out we visited when most of the lavender was harvested. I will try to make it back again next time in May or June so I can catch a glimpse of the lavender farm when it's full! It was cool to learn that there were many varieties including white lavender. There was still a section with plenty of purple lavender where we got to take some pictures and my friend trimmed her own little bouquet of lavender for her mom. I highly recommend visiting this farm if you're in the area.

The eggs are wonderful, delivery prompt, online store very accessible, and they conveniently partner with other local farms to provide veggies + fruit in addition to their sustainable meats (most CSAs will only provide one or the other). We came across Tara Firma initially via online / yelp searches shortly after moving to the Bay Area in 2016. When my husband and I initially started looking into vegetarianism for animal welfare reasons, I suggested we visit a farm that employs best practices of ethically and sustainably raised meat to help inform our decision. Tara Firma offers free educational tours every weekend and so we drove up one day with our 2 dogs (leashed dogs welcome!) and another family with their 3 (non furry) children for a fun Petaluma outing. The tour was informative and our guide was clearly super passionate about their mission. The farm was very beautiful and the lands idyllic -- we loved the fact that the cows were so free range that we could just barely make them out as a tiny dot in the distant hills. We all enjoyed observing the chicken dynamics around their mobile coop with their rooster guard, and they showed us how unperturbed the hens were when removing the eggs from the nest-- evening letting the children carefully take a couple out. Ultimately, we decided to pursue a vegetarian diet (especially after my husband met the pigs there), but we joined the CSA for their eggs and veggie share + cheeses (sourced from partner farms). We also have purchased meat occasionally for visiting carnivore families and friends, as we wanted to ensure if they were going to eat meat -- they were getting it from a farm like Tara Firma that does it in the right way. The best part of the CSA was their pet share as we realized buying offal from this farm would be a great compromise for our dogs (who were rebelling against our plant-based diet experiment) as we just wanted to provide our dogs protein with leftovers / byproduct without creating additional demand on the meat industry. Our pet share included amazing proteins like heart, tongue, cheeks, as well as more indulgent items like liver and kidney. Even the trotters and bones I would use to make broth in order to flavor / disguise our dogs' vegetarian kibble haha :) We also occasionally received some freezer burn meats, which cannot be sold for human consumption but safe (and very drool-worthy) for our dogs! Unfortunately, the pet share program has been discontinued but there are still plenty of diverse offal options in the farm store! Overall, a great local farm to support and highly recommend a visit!
